    Nightfall - The Ordeal: The Inverted Spire

    Modifiers:

    • Nightfall: Adept
      • Empath: Enhanced radar. Take increased damage from melee.
    • Nightfall: Hero

      • Champions: Unstoppable: This mode contains Unstoppable Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Unstoppable mod.

    I opened 500 Solstice Packages, and here's the drop rate.

    Hello again! Welcome to (probably) the most definitive post about the drop rate of items from the Solstice Event Packages.

    I farmed 500 Solstice Packages from the EAZ and acquired enough key fragments to open them all. The reason I farmed 500 Packages instead of 1,000 was because my sanity simply couldn't deal with farming Expunge: Corrupted Tartarus anymore and I figured that 500 Packages would be enough. Basically, the Expunge mission takes three minutes to complete and you get 12 Solstice Key Fragments each time, you do the rest of the math...

    Proof that I have acquired 500 Solstice Packages and 7,500 Solstice Key Fragments.

    To clarify, before opening these 500 Packages I have finished all Solstice Armor objectives (including the requirements for the white glow) and unlocked all upgrades from Eva Levante.

    But let's get back to the point, the following list is the total amount of items that dropped from the packages.

    • Blue Gear - 417
    • Legendary Gear - 92
    • Solstice Armor - 78
    • Solstice Shotgun - 63
    • Enhancement Cores - 194
    • Enhancement Prisms - 2
    • Upgrade Modules - 10
    • Legendary Shards - 99
    • Planetary Materials - 1460

    Enhancement Cores can drop in stacks of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

    Legendary Shards always drop in stacks of 3.

    Planetary Materials can drop in stacks of 10 and 25.

    You also get a random amount of Glimmer from every package and is, in my mind, unnecessary to keep track of.

    The highest rolled Solstice Armor piece that I got was 66 and the lowest roll was 58.

    Feedback I'd like to give to the devs; increase the drop rate of Solstice Key Fragments. For example, a Prophecy dungeon completion gave me 2 Key Fragments, yes, 2! Meanwhile any Expunge mission easily takes below 6-7 minutes to complete and gives 12 Key Fragments. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

    Anyway, sorry I couldn't farm 1,000 Packages this year, the farm for Key Fragments is not fun.

    Potentially first quad 100s

    Was messing around with my armor on hunter and managed to make a quadruple 100 stat build. triple 100 is quite common but never once have i seen quad 100. If anyone else has quad 100 builds id love to see them. If no one else does then maybe im the first

    A cash shop where you can get 90% of the items for free, including most of the best they offer? Yep. Transperancy on a regular basis? It's exemplary. Future feature reveals ahead of time? We expect it. Our feedback being regularly addressed? More often than you'd think. Developers willing to admit when they're wrong and act accordingly? It happens. Regular improvements? Damn, am I a broken record or is the answer once more yes?

    It's hard to look at games like Apex where cosmetic monetization is out of control, Call of Duty which is just itself, FIFA and Madden somehow getting worse every year, and League of Legends where it's players are forced to play League of Legends. It's so wild to see feedback addressed and taken to heart, for the developers to be an active part in the community, and for it to result in this year of Destiny being it's best ever. Beyond Light was a slightly rocky start but brought plenty of good fun, it simply had the misfortune of releasing during the (necessary) vaulting of a ton of content and the introduction of the short lived sunsetting. Season of the Hunt may have been barely passable, but Season of the Chosen and Season of the Splicer have been pretty much bangers, all hits no misses. Aside from the off controversy cough transmog cough, not much bad has happened. Stasis was tuned pretty quickly considering that set of balance changes was going to be in season 15. The sunsetting experiment was tested, and when it failed they decided to pull the plug quickly, very admirable. No one saw that coming, it was a pipe dream. Waiting for Witch Queen isn't a "hopefully this is good" wait, it's a "I can't wait because with the quality of what we're getting now the future looks bright" type wait. Is this what it feels like to be a Final Fantasy XIV fan?

    We're lucky to have Destiny, we're lucky to have Bungie. So on behalf of the community, thank you all. And I think everyone should be a little bit more appreciative as we near the reveal of the next year of Destiny.

    6 weeks of work doesn't justify 4 weeks of flex. The guilding system needs to be changed to show how many times you've completed the seal at all times or just stay guilded even when the season ends.

    This system was originally put in place because we didn't have a counter of how many times we've guilded. Now that we have this there's no reason to take it away at the end of the season.

    Looking at you Dreaming City and Moons weapons. I swear that if the Black Armory weapons and Scourge weapons get the same treatment, imma yeet a baby fallen.

    Edit: I know there is a lot of people saying that people complained about regrinding gear. This post, as said in the title, is that the new iterations are literally sub par. All of the good/useful perks are now gone, while the substitutes are lackluster at best for most of them, there are few exceptions however

    Playlist ideas

    8v8 ? Yup.

    No abilities/Supers ? Yup

    2v2? Why not

    No exotics ? Si

    Snipers only ? Yup

    Preset load outs ? Let's try it

    I am not a coder or programmer. I just like to play video games, mainly Destiny.

    I don't know if these are possible or what technical wise. But just shake it up a little.

    I love PvP, and the crucible just has what other games don't.

    There is no mmo style shooter that has crispy gunplay like Destiny.

    I figure you're working on maps, but give us playlists for now.

    You guys/gals/people created Oddball. Made King of the Hill mainstream.

    I know you have some crazy ideas brewing for PvP. Give us the playlists. please

    Review of Khvostov 7g-02 in all Destiny 2 raids.

    I was playing with a LFG when someone told me my character looked like a Russian soldier. So I decided to run each raid once with the ultra strong Khvostov. This is my experience.

    I will be rating each raid experience on performance and utility. The gun itself obviously won't stand up to other picks, this is based off how hard it was.

    Last wish:

    5/10.

    It works as a rifle. That's about it. The damage is decent for the light level and paired with a decent special weapon you can play through as normal.

    Garden of Salvation:

    7/10

    I was surprised at how effective it was. Run anti barrier mods for the champions in 2nd encounter and the hobgoblins. The bullets are accurate at the engagement ranges and thanks to the vex critical spots you can take them out with relative ease. Bring a shotgun for the Minotaurs along with a sniper for the boss.

    Deep Stone crypt:

    3/10

    Would not recommend. 1st and 3rd encounter are a nightmare unless you give a up your special for an overload weapon, running double primaries. The close range works to your advantage, by getting close you hit more often. The problem is that you don't deal enough damage to warrant getting that close.

    Vault of Glass:

    4/10

    Bring anti barrier to deal with hobgoblins if your serious at doing this. The gun doesn't deal enough damage to take out groups of enemies. The range is terrible and your going to shoot off many vex heads.

    Master Vault of Glass

    0/10

    Don't. Do I even need to explain? Lack of crowd control, lack of damage, no utility. Not a grenade launcher. Not warlock stasis.

    Conclusion:

    Fun challenge. Don't try unless you are with people that know what to do, or are crazy.

    Add Empire Hunts, Nightmare Hunts and possibly harder versions or Barron missions into the strike playlist to add some more variety? Thoughts?

    Sorry if this has already been suggested, just thought it might be an idea to add in some of these types of missions into the strike playlist as many people don't play them much by themselves anyway but I'd say they're just about long enough to make sense as strikes in the strike playlist.

    Obviously this would just be for the core strike playlist and none of these would be Nightfalls. I know many of them (especially the baron missions) can be a lot shorter and easier than a regular strike so some tweaking and exceptions may have to be made.

    Just thought this would be a good short-term solution to the current Strike stagnation without having to add new content into the game.

    Changing armor Elements should be unlocks instead of just a change.

    Example:
    Was Void, pay all the materials, now it's Solar, and I can swap between Solar and Void on the armor without paying tons of materials. Each element on that gear could have a separate MW level.

    This would significantly help with vault space since we wont need elements of different gears with different stats, depending on what we're doing. Just a few with the stats we like, able to change between elements.

    A Minor Buff to make Lumina more useful in higher tier content

    Make the Remnants (the orb that gives you Noble Rounds aka healing rounds) appear on weapon assists instead of kills. I love using this weapon, but having to kill with a hand cannon in high level content it's not the easiest.

    Please, let it be a full support weapon!

    Timelost Weapon Rotation

    Well, now we know where all the timelost weapons will drop from since Atheon Challenge is dropping Corrective Measure.

    Each Timelost weapon drops with 2 Curated perks in addition to the perks of the normal roll. The curated perks are listed in brackets.

    Please bring the ornaments for legendary weapons back

    There aren't any Eververse ornaments for legendary weapons since beyond light I suppose because of sunset. Now since sunset is gone and weapons like nightwatch, gnawing hunger do have nice ornaments but nearly unobtainable for a long time.

    From the beginning of this season there are a lot of old exotic ornaments brought back in eververse (some are still missing though😑). And I think the ornaments for legendary weapons should also have similar treatment. Even those for sunsetted weapons, there are still people that want to buy them. I don't understand why keep these cosmetic-stuffs time-gated for purchasing with silver.

    Separate the "Open Director" and "New Quest Details" keybind.

    When I press the "M" key I have never wanted to open the "New Quest Details" over opening the world map, and if I want to look at a new quest, I use the "Open Director - Quests" keybind that already exists, and would be a much more intuitive keybind to pair with the "New Quest Details"

    Kickstart perk seems quite underwhelming

    I am a fusion main with 10k crucible kills on Exiles curse. I have been trying to get used to Kickstart perk that rolled with Slideshot, and made a conclusion that it is quite an underwhelming perk. The use case was just too limited and situational because the amount of time you have to run in order to proc it. Especially in many maps with vertical structures or obstacles, it was very tough to make the run for a sufficient amount of duration even to proc it. Also the duration of the buff was too short (may be <1 sec?) and the amount of charge time reduced was barely noticeable.

    All in all, it ended up sending me back to spawn a lot more.

    For now I decided to go back to HIR, but I am just so disappointed that Kickstart did not live up to its high expectations. Hopefully u/dmg04 would be able to get some collective feedback to revisit this with sandbox team in the future.

    Any thoughts on your experiences with Kickstart?

    The metric used to determine a players 'Skill' is wildly overestimating my actual skill in Survival

    The Glory: Survival playlist uses SBMM as far as I'm aware. So, if that's the case, why am I being matched against Unbroken players when I have never hit Legend? Why am I being matched against players who have gone Flawless and have the title gilded, when I have never gone flawless before?

    Bungie, whatever algorithm or metric you're using to decide a players skill is incredibly inaccurate and is woefully overestimating my 'true' skill.

    I spend 90% of my Destiny time playing PvP, but this is really driving a wedge between me and my enjoyment. I've played on PC since Shadowkeep trying to get to Legend, but I seem to get put into matches all the time that I have no business being in. I understand a diminishing playerbase, but this is just totally absurd. It's killing my drive to play.

    The Glory playlist is not glorious to play.

    There should be more agressive(4 round burst) pulse rifles in the game as Sacred Provenence is the only one.

    The Fact That the only unsunset agressive pulse rifle in the game is locked behind garden (which almost no one ever wants to run, and is infested with net-limiters on pc-lfg) is sad and is one of the archetypes of weapons that was massacred by sunsetting as some of the best pulse rifles fit into this archetype.

    Lets get more of these types of pulse rifles in the game, they are awesome.

    How to solo grandmaster nightfall the inverted spire

    I attempted solo grandmaster nightfall and it worked really well with Hunter bottom tree nighstalker + sixth chayote. Weapons hung jury + deafening whisper + anarchy. If your going to attempt this please take it slow and don't rush everything basically kills you instantly. Boss room is pretty easy because of some hiding spots.

    There's a few angles that if you stand far enough the ads won't shoot and you can just keep melting them.
