| Ikora's lack of involvement in Season of Arrivals and Beyond Light is incredibly concerning Posted: 17 Dec 2020 11:53 AM PST In D2 Vanilla, Ikora lost her light. She went to the place she felt closest to the light on Io. The pyramids arrived on Io and set up shop over the cradle and the tree of silver wings. Eris went to investigate and I expected to see Ikora there the first week to marvel at the tree and concern for what was happening to it and the planet as a whole. Instead we got Zavala to show up and express concern. Zavala had new text and voice dialogue and Ikora was silent. No new text overlay, no lore from her, nothing. We started wielding darkness and literally every other character had something to say about us using stasis. Lord Saladin, Lord Shaxx, and Zavala told us not to venture down that path. Based on who Ikora is, we should have had something from her. With the notes from the Stolen Intelligence Lore Book, we know that Ikora has been in a rough place for some time. Since Cayde's death she's stopped offering assistance to guardians, in the form of bounties and training in the story missions. She hasn't offered us ways to strengthen our bonds with the light and know the power of each class and what it offers. She's stayed hidden and reserved. She needs to be involved. She needs to be at the forefront with all of this darkness surrounding the system. Bungie, if the issue is Gina isn't available, please consider recasting like you did with Ana. With all these huge events happening in the system, we need her to either step up or work with other guardians we need her to lead again. [link] [comments] |

| Is my game just buggy or are Gambit motes harder to collect than before? Posted: 17 Dec 2020 09:52 AM PST Hey guys, So this has been bugging me for some time now. I don't know if this has been the case for a long time already, as I came back when BL dropped. Last time I played was when Forge was still a thing, and everything was fine. I'm talking about collecting motes, or rather how easy it was back then. I could just kill a mob in Gambit, and as soon as the mote dropped, I instantly got it because I was in its range. Now after BL whenever I kill a mob, the mote just drops on me, near me, and as soon as I walk over it, usually nothing happens. I have to walk back and that's when I usually get it, as if the range is absolutely f-ed up or something. My game runs fine on max settings, averaging at about 80fps, my connection is more than good (I don't know my ping in this game though, can I check it somewhere?), so yeah. Don't know what's causing it. Has this always been the case? Did I just forget how weird it was to grab them? Or is this a new feature with Beyond Light? [link] [comments] |

Now, all I'm thinking is: damn, I love using this gun or these stats now that I finally have an armor piece with a certain stat roll. | Here's What I Learned After 151 Master Lost Sector Runs Posted: 17 Dec 2020 08:13 AM PST Over the last 5 days, I spent 5 - 8 hours a day farming Master Lost Sectors to get a better idea of exotic drop rates and just a general sense of if they're worth farming over the Legendary version. Here's how many exotics I got per run with some thoughts on each lost sector's Master difficulty. I hope this helps you decide if you're going to farm Masters or not. Note: 1270 - 1271 Power Level always running Concussive Dampener + an elemental resist mod Exodus Garden:

Final Thoughts:
For your sanity, I do not recommend running Master over Legendary because Barrier/Overload Champions combined with stacks and stacks of negative modifiers makes for a MUCH more rage-inducing time IMO. [link] [comments] |

The name is Starfarer 7M - You get this ship from the quest: And to all a Good Flight. Wich you can pick up from Eva Lavante. Having a kinetic weapon being able to roll with dragonfly is so unique. You said with all that talk about sunsetting that you wanted to create more particular and interesting perks ! Well, now is your chance : The Cold Front being able to roll dragonfly is absolutely not game breaking and it brings so much interest into an otherwise dull weapon that would have been overlooked (like all the other event weapons). I know that in that case, it's a bug and that it needs to be adjusted. But, don't just overlook the fact that having a weapon being able to roll with an unusual perk just gave reasons to a lot of people to farm a basic event like the Dawning especially after Beyond Light and the problematic of loot quantity.
