    Activities

    Presage

    • Fixed an issue where players could respawn into the void, instantly bringing an end to their feeble attempts to survive this activity at Master difficulty.

    Wrathborn Hunts

    • Fixed an issue where "Immune" text appears when players deal damage to the High Celebrant.

    Destinations

    • Fixed an issue where players would die instantly if they stood in a particular spot of the Quitter's Well in Tangled Shore.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented Scan and Heroic VIP patrols from appearing on Europa.

    Battlegrounds

    • Fixed an issue where players could regenerate infinite Super energy from teammates running through hallways.
    • Fixed an issue where players would incorrectly receive an "online privileges" dialog when trying to launch specific Battlegrounds activities or the Battlegrounds playlist with a fireteam member who hadn't unlocked the activity.
    • Fixed an issue where the Cabal Pyro Flamethrower projectile generated a lot of network usage, leading to strange combatant behaviors within Battlegrounds activities.

    UI/UX

    General

    • Fixed an issue where the Prismatic Recaster was not displaying all available engram types on a single page.

    Gameplay

    Armor

    • Updated Mantle of Battle Harmony to function in PvP.

      • Grants small amount of super energy when defeating Guardians with weapons matching the damage type of your Super.
      • Grants small damage bonus when defeating enemies with weapons matching the damage type of your Super while your Super is full, but at a shorter duration than when you defeat combatants in PvE.

    Weapons

    • Fixed an issue that caused Eyes of Tomorrow to do less damage than intended against yellow bar enemies.
    • Fixed an issue where Guardians could embrace their darker side and damage their teammates using the Frenzy perk.
    • Added Unrelenting as a possible perk for THE SWARM Machine Gun.

    Hunters

    • Shatterdive

      • Removed damage resistance from Shatterdive.
      • Added a 4s cooldown between activations of Shatterdive.
    • Withering Blade

      • Decreased Withering Blade damage against players from 90 to 65 damage. PvE damage is unchanged.
      • Decreased Withering Blade slow stacks applied to players from 60 to 40 stacks. PvE slow stacks are unchanged.
      • Decreased the target acquisition range of Withering Blade after it impacts a player from 12m to 8m. Range after impacting PvE enemies is unchanged.

    Titans

    • Glacial Quake

      • Removed AoE freeze against players on Super cast. Will still freeze PvE enemies on cast.
      • Reduced damage resistance while in Super from 60 percent to 50 percent.
      • Increased the energy cost of using Shiver Strike while in Glacial Quake from three percent to seven percent Super energy.
      • Using the combo of a Shiver Strike into a Heavy slam attack will now cost the full Super energy of both the Shiver Strike and the slam (this previously only cost energy for the slam).
    • Shiver Strike

      • Increased downwards velocity applied to Shiver Striking players when they are slowed to more quickly pull them out of the air.
      • Fixed an issue where Shiver Strike (or Thundercrash) could get the player stuck against soft ceilings in Crucible maps.

    Warlocks

    • Winter's Wrath

      • Improved tracking of Winter's Wrath projectiles, now tracking strength decays from its max value over 10s instead of 2.2s.
      • Increased the size of the Warlock Super projectile's proximity detonation radius 1.5m – 1.65m.
      • The proximity detonation now starts at its largest and scales down to 40 percent over time.
    • Penumbral Blast

      • Decreased Penumbral Blast damage against players from 80 to 30 damage. PvE damage is unchanged.
    • Iceflare Bolts

      • Fixed a bug where Iceflare Bolts would continuously try to switch targets.
      • Increased target acquisition range of Iceflare Bolts by 33 percent.
      • Increased turning speed of Iceflare Bolts so they can more effectively hit nearby targets.
    • Chaos Reach

      • Decreased the amount of Super energy refunded when cancelling Chaos Reach early.

    General Stasis Tuning

    • Duskfield Grenade

      • Reduced how strongly Duskfield Grenade pulls players inwards, effectively reducing the pull range from 9.5m to ~6m. PvE pull impulse is unchanged.
      • Reduced the slow stacks applied to players by the grenade detonation from 20 to 10 stacks. Detonation slow stacks are unchanged in PvE.
      • Reduced the slow stacks applied to players on each tick of the grenade from ten to five stacks. Per-tick slow stacks are unchanged in PvE.
      • Adjusted the UI presentation of the "Slowed" status to display slow stacks as X/100 instead of X/10, to increase readability when adding slow stack amounts that are fewer than ten.
    • Stasis Crystals

      • Reduced crystal shatter damage against players from (85 max, 55min) to (55 max, 25 min). PvE damage is unchanged.
    • Whisper of Chains

      • Reduced Whisper of Chains damage resistance bonus while in Super from 25 percent to five percent. Damage resistance when not in Super is unchanged. This only affects damage from other Guardians.

    Investment

    Stasis Fragment Quests

    • Significantly reduced objective completion values for all Crucible fragment quests.

    Bounties and Pursuits

    • Fixed an issue where players could earn Exotic Cyphers with a full inventory, resulting in the loss of their reward.

    Triumphs

    • Fixed an issue that prevented the "Trash the Thresher" Triumph from completing even when the conditions were met.

    Stat Trackers

    • Reset raid completion time stat trackers for any player who has exactly five minutes time recorded in the stat tracker.

    Rewards

    • Fixed an issue that prevented bad luck protection for Eyes of Tomorrow from accumulating properly on accounts where players raided on multiple characters.

    • Fixed issues with the Frozen in Time ornament for the Exotic Pulse Rifle No Time To Explain.

      • The ornament will no longer display "Exclusive Item" which prevented players from socketing it.

    Chosen Seal and Title Requirements

    • Replaced the "Bound in Memory" Triumph with "All the Scattered Memories" to ensure players who missed a week of playing the Presage activity could earn the seal before the Season ended.

    I've been playing pretty casually this season, but can I say THE STORY TELLING IS ON FUCKING POINT. THIS IS ACTUALLY FEELING LIKE IM LIVING IN AN EVOLVING WORLD. Seeing some serious story progression EVERY WEEK is amazing. I think bungee has always done exceptionally well at story telling but god dammit this is amazing.

    The old trials loot should now be dropping from end of match completions randomly...

    Great armor and some decent weapons will fall by the wayside if they aren't incorporated into the loot pool. Keep them as trials specific. But let players have a chance to earn them at the end of a trials game completion. This will also help curb the feeling of no loot in the game mode.

    How many people still use their original Guardians???

    This question just came to mind and I was very curious. I have been attached to my Warlock from September 2014 all the way till today and still have him. I've made other characters even tried making another warlock at some point to replace my original warlock but always go back to it.

    Just looking to see what percentage of people still use their character from Destiny 1 and how many people have moved on to new characters

    How Presage Scannables Work

    There is so, so much confusion over how Pressage scannables work. Now that this is for the title, everyone should know how to get their ghost. First, videos of each of the scannable sets.

    So here is the confusing part. You have to do the entirety of set 1 before you can do set 2, and all of set 2 before you can do set 3. Once you do an entire set, you have to wait until next week to do the next set. This is not based on a weekly rotation- you can scan set 1 on any week. You don't have to wait for week 1 narration to come around.

    This is where the confusion sets in. Pressage scannables count for everybody in the dungeon, so it's possible to get the triumphs before you actually finish your entire set of scannables. If someone scans a set 2 scannable while you're on set 1, it will still count for the set 1 triumph. You cannot rely on those triumphs for tracking. I cannot emphasize this enough- this is the biggest hurdle for most people. If you are stuck and don't know where you are on scannables, go back and do the entirety of set 1 or 2 scans. You probably missed one.

    Edit: it has been brought to my attention that you must turn in your triumphs each step of the way to move onto the next set of scans. Make sure you turn in your triumphs.

    Amanda Holliday & Empress Caiatl Have Something In Common: The SAME Voice Actress!!

    Was looking up something on IMDB and did NOT know that Courtenay Taylor voiced BOTH Holiday & Caiatl! Makes extra sense now that both characters are getting a lot of development this season. Very cool. (EDIT: And it makes their interaction at the beginning of the Cosmodrome Battlegrounds that much funnier to me... "You're breaking up. I'm going through a tunnel.")

    And Brian T. Delaney does both Saint-14 & Clovis Bray!

    This Season has been by far the best in terms of Story Telling we have ever had. The ending cutscene was INCREDIBLE.

    It isn't often I shout for Destiny story content (although it is my favorite part of Destiny), but seeing Zavala come so close to TRUE death and to see Crow revealed to Zavala was magnificent. Bungie, keep this up. THIS IS WHAT WE WANT!

    This week's story quest was the best thing I've seen this season.

    The strike. The boss fight. The dialogue. The story. THE CUTSCENE!! All of it was absolutely amazing. Bungie did everything right this season. I cannot wait to see what comes next, because if it was as good as what happened today, then Destiny is most definitely the best it's ever been.

    Also, did anyone else notice those wires hanging off the old Tower? Are those new or did I just never notice them?

    Bungie please buff subsistence on smgs

    3 bullets per kill feel like nothing for an smg. I'm not saying that it should fill up half magazine with each kill, but at least double the current amount i think it's necessary. I know this problem has been brought up multiple times, but it feels so easy to fix that it pains me. I feel like i'm running only one perk on my smg instead kf two.

    Gilded titles are fun and all, but tbh, I prefer the weekly glowing crowns

    The glows that need to be refreshed every week indicating that you completed the nightfall, went flawless, or did the raid challenge just felt better than these gilded titles do. The titles are visible from across the Tower and through walls, but somehow the glowing crowns just stood out more.

    Do I even have to mention that the Conqueror gilded title won't even be active for that long?

    Proving Ground VIPs Spawn Options

    If you have difficulty completing Eliminate Caiatl's Cabal triumph. In my experience, even though non-boss VIPs are not guaranteed to spawn in the strike, they have specific spawn locations. Here the possibility of VIPs spawn location:

    • 1st Boss: Valus Ozysas
    • Tank Room (0-4 VIPs):
      • spawn with Interceptors
        • Optus Taxaat / Halphas Honorguard (Non VIP)
        • Val Kladior / Halphas Honorguard (Non VIP)
      • spawn with tanks
        • Val Trekitus / Halphas Honorguard (Non VIP)
        • Val Cunqu'us / Halphas Honorguard (Non VIP)
    • 1st power core guard: Val Cempas / Val Vinca'ar
    • 2nd power core guard: Optus Vocca / Val Veorthus
    • Final Boss: Ignovun, Chosen of Caiatl

    Note: It seems that the thank room has a possibility to not have any VIPs

    More kinetic specials pls bungie

    There aren't really enough good kinetic snipers and shotguns, at the moment I don't think there is one kinetic shotgun that we an farm for with quickdraw, and very few snipers that are actually good for pvp. With all of the new energy primaries like palindrome, bottom dollar, and igneous out I just don't have anything to use with them, hopefully bungie addresses this soon.

    The week 4 challange 'Cadre of Contenders' is to 'Complete crucible matches in the competitive playlist'. Turns out, Iron Banner counts towards it.

    Great way to get this challenge done if you really don't want to step into comp.

    It's not spice, it's "I lost this slapfight because everyone else has a physically faster melee". The 1 meter of bonus range isn't helping anyone when shotguns exist.

    Don't know about you guys but I recognised it instantly and turned volume all the way up. This track has been one of my favourites and perfectly resembles to the slow military march that represents the cabal as a race. Kudos to Bungie to bringing back an extremely underrated piece and giving it a killer facelift!

    Bungie, please turn part of the Proving Grounds' tank into a Crucible map.

    Once I beat the boss Caiatl declared that by right, the Tank and its crew were ours. Sure, Zavala gave it back, but I'm sure we can work in some wiggle room in negotiations to give Ol' Shaxx an arena in there somewhere. Could even have Cabal Spectators or something.

    I'll be honest, I'm just desperate for new crucible maps, especially with all these cool environments.
