    I 3D printed Outbreak Perfected and Breachlight!

    Outbreak has been my favorite weapon in the destiny franchise since I first got it in D1. Breachlight has been one of my new favorite primaries in this game. So I decided to try to 3D print and paint them myself! I haven't tried something like this before, but I was very happy with the result! http://imgur.com/gallery/k7LI9Fc.     Don't know if this has been said but why not update Mangerie with seasonal weapons after they leave?

    Managerie was a fun activity and one of my favorites. Why not update it to be up to date with power levels and bring back heroic mode to have upgrade materials. Drop in some seasonal weapons into the loot pool or faction weapons and armor. Overall I'd just like to see it utilizied again.

    Tap the trigger has a hidden effect built in: Hair trigger from D1!

    I discovered this during D2Y1 while playing with my Razer Raiju Controller which has trigger stops.

     

    Short explanation:

    In Destiny, you need to pull the trigger up to a certain point until the gun fires. Usually you can't reach this point with trigger stops enabled. When I once shot Uriel's Gift back then I noticed I had the trigger stops still enabled because I was playing Warframe earlier that day.

     

    So, I went and tested other weapons, and so far every gun with Tap the Trigger fires on a lighter trigger pull than normal. Oh, and for those interested: MIDA-Multi-Tool also retained its hair trigger from D1!

     

    I didn't post it back then because I took a little break from Destiny shortly afterwards and forgot about it, but it came back to me by now.

    What if the season ends with us redirecting the Almighty to crash into the lead Pyramid ship and that damages it enough to stall it - in essence becoming the expansion patrol zone like Dreadnaught was.

    Figured out how to trigger a guitar error in gambit reliably.

    Don't go in if you have a black armory frame on the stage where you need to pick up radiant seeds, they'll spawn on the enemy side as well and you'll quickly hit the cap and crash out of the session with a guitar error.

    With the ever-increasing legendary engram loot pool, it'd be the perfect opportunity to introduce planet-based legendary engrams.

    Divide the pool between planets. Want this armor set? Go to this planet, and play there. Want this gun? Go to the other planet, and do some activities there.

    Everyone is worried about the fps, but honestly if the new Xbox/PS5 does anything, I'm solely hoping for loading times to be at least cut in half. That in itself will justify the purchase.

    Can we get an update on Eriana's Vow?

    TL;DR - Eriana's Vow is a critical part of the Nightfall Ordeal meta and not having it as an option for new/returning players is frustrating


    On August 29 while talking about seasons in Destiny 2, Bungie/Luke wrote:

    But while events and activities in the world will come and go as the world evolves, weapons critical to the meta will not be locked in each Season for new players or for players who missed that Season. Legendaries and Exotics you need to stay competitive will be re-earnable in the future, although not always immediately after the Season ends. We'll be talking more about that later—this is one area where, with the new seasonal model, we expect our plans to evolve across the Seasons to meet the needs of the Destiny community.

    Critical to the meta was their emphasis, not mine, so I will be repeating that a few times. If you're looking for the quote, it's about 20% down the page, a little up from the picture of the Gatelord's Eye artifact.

    About a month and a half ago on a thread similar to this one, Cozmo wrote:

    We have plans being made on making these seasonal exotics available again. We'll share more details when we can.

    I believe their current plan is to put all of the season pass exotics into the general loot pool when the next expansion drops. This is not based on clear facts, but based on how Playstation exclusive exotics worked.

    The reason they haven't shared more details is because at a minimum, they're not going to be added back to the loot pool until next season at the earliest and they're not going to say anything until those builds are finalized and they can confirm them as deliverable.

    I get all of that if either of those are the current plan. Them not wanting to just give everyone loot from last season immediately following the season is understandable. Adding them all in one bunch is probably easier from a workflow perspective, and they've said before that big DLCs can be time for bigger change. But Eriana's matters right now.

    The thread that Cozmo posted on was asking for Eriana's to return because it would be helpful for Grandmaster Nightfalls. And while Charlemagne only tracks legacy nightfall metas and not Ordeals, Eriana's being one of two special weapons in the game with anti-Champion properties makes me think it's definitely critical to the meta. In this week's solo GM, Eriana's was part of Esoterickk's loadout.

    Friday night I was in party chat with friends doing a 100k run. All three of them were over-leveled, but one guy just picked D2 back up again after leaving around Warmind. They were talking loadouts and he inspected one of the other players. "A hand cannon using special ammo?" Yeah, it's anti-barrier too. "How do I get it?" You can't. He was deflated.

    They still completed the 100k run. So I'm not saying Eriana's is Gjallarhorn levels of required. Hell, it's not even Izanagi's level of required. But I would definitely call it critical to the current meta, and I hope it returns for everyone next season.

    Just realised that you can launch a strike from within a strike. Time to save some time.

    Once you have finished the strike and you get the countdown timer. Open your director, go to strikes and launch the next one. No need to go to orbit which is what I've been doing. Saves a minute or two.

    Bottom Tree Sentinel Shield Bash is BUGGED (And Bungie is not aware)

    Title. I don't know if Bungie is aware of this issue, I checked their list of known issues for Season of the Worthy and there is nothing there acknowledging this bug. But it's been happening to me I'd say 1 or 2 outta every 5 times I go in for the Shield Bash. For those of you unaware, Shield Bash is the shoulder charge ability on Code of the Aggressor. Bungie made a change to to it a while back which now makes the shield bash suppress the target on hit (And anything within a 2ish meter radius).

    This shoulder charge can be incredibly powerful in something like Trials, but I can't use it reliably because I don't always know that if I land the shoulder charge, it's actually going to suppress the target. This is incredibly frustrating to deal with. Not to mention, the Sentinel Super's hit registration has been incredibly inconsistent since D2's launch. But I honestly don't expect that to ever get fixed.

    I initially thought that sliding before the shoulder charge with Antaeus Wards on might negate the Suppression Effect somehow, but then it happened to me again without me using Reflective Vents.

    Remove the class restrictions on lightweight and aggressive frame swords

    Will the destruction of the almighty save the trapped guardian?

    For those who don't know, in the lore book Ghost Stories there's a piece titled "No Rez for the Weary". In this it tells of a guardian who is stuck in a sort of loop/trap aboard the almighty. The ghost can't revive said guardian since he/she is technically not dead. So I have a simple question, when we destroy the almighty will it be enough to save that trapped guardian or it is a fleeting hope that this individual will be saved?

    I feel like Dungeons aren't talked about too much even though they're some of the best content in the game, and it would be sweet if someday we could have some raid-lite rewards for these raid-lite experiences. I get that it would be a ton of work for the team to make three full armor sets plus a suite of guns, but if they covered just a couple of the most important armor slots per class (maybe cloak and helmet for hunters, helmet and arms for titan, and helmet and chest for warlock), and then did like one primary weapon and one special weapon, it would make Dungeons SO much more rewarding.

    Obviously that's still a non-trivial amount of work, but I'd love to see dungeons get a little more love :)

    For the sake of Warmind Cell mechanic I hope that in the future we will get a weapon mod "Seraph" that turns a weapon into seraph weapon as long as it is equipped

    I don't have a problem with Seraph Weapons of this season, but eventually, for any reason, I will put seraph weapons in the vault... and others people too... and some people probably will never use them.

    In that scenario Warmind Cell mechanic will be... wasted for many people.

    "Seraph" weapon mod will keep Warmind Cell mechanic alive at least in some form. "Fake" Seraph weapons don't even need to be as effective as original Seraph weapons when it comes to creating Warmind Cells - 2x or 3x more kills to create a Cell, for example.

    Grandmaster Nightfalls refill your weapon reserves; Why don't other tiers of nightfall do this?

    Title basically. When running through GM we noticed that our weapon reserves were refilled (no need to go to tribute hall), but then we were running Master NFs this week and saw that those NFs did not.

    Why is that? IMO it makes sense to have them reload your weapons all the same.

    I would like to ask, how does one go from 5500 Glory to 3500 Glory in a month? By getting BEAVERED (and subsequently SUSPENDED) at least 5 times a day. That's how.

    I understand they are working on it, but at least if we can get an update specifically what the issue is, as some people seem to be affected more than others. This really should be the top of their priority, as Season 10 connectivity has been a mess.

    Despite the Bungie Help Guide indicating it being a Port Forwarding issue, that's not the case. I have all my ports set to their guide, and continue to suffer from this. Yet my friend who doesn't have his ports forwarded (his NAT is Moderate), never has been beavered.

    I apologize for this rant, but this has been really frustrating.

    Please Bungie, can we get an update on this?

    The Best Comp Game of My life

    So earlier today I was playing comp with some buddies when the matchmaking broke and it placed us three against one guy. Normally I would have expected the guy to quit but no this guy was here to stay... he was here for the MEMES. The game started as any would until we realized that this legend was staying in spawn drinking some coffee from his desk so as you should always do you sit with him of course! Then my friends and I got the brilliant idea of hitting each other with our sword hilts. And this guy played along! We spent the entire game Naruto running across the map or slowly walking to a one vs one sword fight. So if you are out there tychero thank you for being an Absolute legend and giving us the game full of memes that we always dreamed of.

    [D2] comp needs a forgiveness system.

    I can't seem to be the only one that hates starting a survival game and getting put into a 2v3 Off to start or later on into the game.It's happened to me about 5-8 times Within these last two weeks. I start up a game and when the game starts I see that one of my teammates has left the game. And whether we are able to win or lose it's a lot of pressure on to the players especially if you're like me and you are trying to get NF. Apex legends has a forgiveness system in their rent playlist where if a teammate leaves in the game is completed you don't lose any comp score if you lose. My idea is that when the game starts it should be able to detect when someone leaves and if you're on that team your glory rank is not affected if . you lose. Would love to hear your thoughts or opinions
