An image library with every full armor set in the game

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 01:29 PM PDT

Love it or hate it, Transmog is almost here and we need to prepare.

As it's currently not possible to preview entire armor sets in-game, we had to put together the next best thing.

With the help of the community (including many folks from this sub and DestinyFashion), we've collected hundreds of full Armor set images to help you prepare!

This collection includes all 3 classes and most sets ranging from endgame to seasonal: https://blueberries.gg/armor/destiny-2-armor-sets/

    Enjoy!

We’re almost 7 years into Destiny’s lifecycle and people still don’t play the objective in Control.

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 12:39 PM PDT

    Why.

I am genuinely curious as to what people think the reason is.

The objective is obvious. You clearly get more points per kill when you hold more zones.

Shaxx yells at you all the time to both capture zones and throw more grenades.

EDIT: Y'all. Some of this was so fun to read. Now I'm actually trying to think about what I would do to get an objective based mode to actually play that way.

I think we all can agree that Bounties play a huge, huge role in how it's played.

Not all titans are crayon eaters

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 05:20 AM PDT

Not all of us titans are crayon eaters. It makes me sad and then I get angry when my mom reads these reddit posts to me at bed time. It makes me want to put on my synthoceps, pop a bubble and just start punching everything.

I mean, I've tried crayons but I don't like them. The paper is hard to swallow and the red crayons are too spicy. When I get hungry during arts and crafts time I like a nice Elmer glue stick. I dont like the squeeze glue or the tub of glue that you have to use a popsicle stick to eat. Don't get started on rubber cement. That doesn't digest at all.

I know guardian games is causing a lot of smack talk, but let's leave snack time out of it. We aren't making fun of hunters for feeding on blueberry tears or warlocks for licking hive worms.

Edit: thanks for the awards! Im so happy I want to punch stuff!

Edit: I've never had a post blow up like this. I didn't realize how many guardians are so passionate about eating crayons

Edit: this might be the best work I've ever done while on the toilet

You know what would make the Cosmodrome a whole lot more attractive as a destination? A destination-specific loot set.

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 07:24 PM PDT

Title. Every other destination in D2 has at least one, e.g. the Crystocrene set and weapons like Hailing Confusion, Arctic Haze, Thermal Erosion, etc. for Europa, or the Dreambane set and weapons like Loud Lullaby, One Small Step, and Love and Death for the Moon. These offer a great incentive to hang out in and do activities in a given destination, as the possibility of unique rewards drives player investment. I think a set of gear like this, styled aesthetically like an old or 'military' set, along the lines of the Khvostov, would do wonders for driving engagement in the Cosmodrome, as right now, with the exception of the lost sectors, patrolling the Cosmodrome just feels less rewarding than doing so in other destinations.

Now, one could say 'but OP, the weapons in the other destinations are sunset!' to which I say they should probably have their power caps lifted for the exact same reasons outlined above. Think about how nice it is having unsunset armor and weapons in Europa, and to a lesser extent in the Dreaming City and Moon - this makes them the locations where patrol just makes more sense.

In conclusion, I think it would do wonders for a destination-specific loot set to be introduced to the Cosmodrome.

Please utilize the Trials of the Nine weapons at some point

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 08:04 AM PDT

It seems like such a waste to let these weapon models go to waste. It seems like a no brainer to put them in Prophecy (possibly Master version?)

If not it would be great to see them in another nine based activity or even given to Xür for him to sell or reward for challenges or bounties.

Bungie, for the love of god please don’t make us do the same EAZ for Solstice of Heroes. The well is dry.

Can we take a second to appreciate how good of an addition dungeons have been to this game

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 09:07 AM PDT

Yeah I know Bungie gets a lot of flak and a lot of the time it is deserved but man they have knocked it out of the park with each dungeon so far. Each one has been better than the last. Imo prophecy dungeon is better than 50 percent of the raids they have made. I was in awe when I saw those environments in that dungeon.

Dungeon occupy an important space in the game they are hardcore enough to be more satisfying than a strike but they don't require as much commitment as a raid. I can't imagine Destiny without dungeons going forward and kudos to Bungie for having the excellent idea to implement them.

5 months post Beyond Light I am still firmly of the opinion that Stasis freezing has no place in PVP

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 02:24 PM PDT

I gave it a chance but it is still absolutely miserable to play against. Crucible was in a really good place just before Beyond Light and now its just not fun at all.

Getting frozen for several seconds and being completely unable to fight back is a morale sapping experience and leagues stronger than all other light based abilities. I may be in the minority but as it stands I'm 100% certain Stasis made PVP a lot worse.

High-Stat Armour Meta: Sources of High-Stat Armour

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 09:35 AM PDT

i've written a document which summarizes the current high-stat armour "meta": how the stats are rolled, differences between mod slots, what are the sources, and repeatability. i'd appreciate any feedback/corrections (respond to this post).

After about x40 Grandmasters. I have a problem I thought I’d never have...

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 07:16 PM PDT

My postie is full of Prisms and ascendant shards (my clan affectionately terms them as yellow crystals and 'golf balls')

With such a stingy material cap. (50 and 10 respectively). I've actually found myself masterworking average rolled gear just to get rid of them. Never in a million years would I thought I'd masterwork any of my PVE exotics. I'd thought this would be a nice problem to have but as mainly a crucible player, (this is my first time dipping my toe into hard end game PVE content that isn't a raid) I've found that I've actually snookered myself completely. My Valor rank up is now stuck in some weird purgatory where I cannot reset or collect from the reworked crucible progress system without deleting the rare materials.

'Caps' whether glimmer or materials or transmog....just doesn't feel good.

Silly Idea: Adept Icarus Grip Should Drop From GM Nightfalls

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 07:41 AM PDT

Countless GMs later and about an hour trying to find official confirmation of its drop sources with just a little luck, and I'm calling it fact that Adept Icarus is a Flawless-only reward.

This... is... lame? dumb? Aggravating. Whatever the case may be this needs to change. ASAP.

Adept Pali is a thing--having the most impactful adept mod for a given weapon drop in the same playlist as said weapon should be a given.

    Please fix.

Printed Bottom Dollar (link to files)

I made a Bottom Dollar and added it to my Wall of Destiny. Files here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4842706

I grinded 26 of these in game. My fave is feeding frenzy/explosive payload. Great for PVE. Sometimes one round will kill three guys and stack the frenzy. I think subsistence and explosive would pair nice too.

Recreating our favorite guardian games ghost shell

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 05:23 PM PDT

Girlfriend and I decided to have some fun recreating the tennis ball ghost shell. It's not perfect, but we had fun doing it.

Just wanted to share it with fellow guardians!

I kind of miss the old exotic quests

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 07:27 PM PDT

For Whisper of the Worm, Outbreak Perfected, Last Word, and Ace of Spades to name a few. Presage is pretty cool, and so is Harbinger, but I always miss the classics. Doing these quests was so much more interesting than having to grind for materials to just buy the exotics.

At first, I wasn’t too angry at the limited transmog. Yeah it sucks, but I was fine with it. Then I looked at how many armor sets there are

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 08:15 AM PDT

There are so many amazing armor sets and it makes me so sad that we're limited to TWO sets per season. I know Bungie is taking in all the feedback, but still, limiting us to weapons and armor makes sense, but vanity items are something we cherish and it sucks that we're limited by Bungie's endless greed. Please, just let us look good

Fusion Rifles deserve way more love from Bungie

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 08:37 PM PDT

Fusion rifles are the most unique gun in the Destiny franchise. You can find cool machine guns, assault rifles, all that jazz in any other shooter. But fusion rifles? A Destiny icon, in my eyes. Easily one of the most satisfying things in the game to shoot.

So it really, REALLY sucks that fusion rifles are not viable options in any high end activity. It astounds me how much Bungie shoved aside one of their most unique creations aside for shotguns and snipers in their sandbox. For what seems like forever. I can't remember the last time a legendary fusion rifle was considered not trolling in any high end activity, other than Loaded Question for PvE and Erentil for PvP.

Reservoir Burst is potentially coming on new fusion rifles. Alright, Bungie, thanks. But fusions are going to need a lot more help than that. Fusions in PvP are not good for.... a lot of reasons that requires a whole other post. But for PvE at least, what do you guys think fusion rifles need to get back on their feet? Do they need more damage per shot to compete with shotguns and snipers against majors and champions? Do they need more add-clear potential, like Loaded Question?

What on earth happened to that Fish?!

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 07:06 AM PDT

The Exo Stranger (Elsie Bray) had a funny robot fish thing flying around in the bulk of the promotional material for Beyond Light, I was wondering where the hell is it?! I know we've been told its not a ghost, but that makes me wonder even more what it is! Have we had any info on this bloody fish since?

Honestly I'd run a prestige DSC even if all they gave were guaranteed higher rolled stat armor and maybe some adept versions for the weapons.

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 12:19 PM PDT

Prestige meaning the Competition mode version with nerfed light levels and better AI for adds and such.

    Posted: 28 Apr 2021 10:19 AM PDT

I'm not saying a rework. Just some simple stuff like faster time, proc faster.

And if you're feeling spicy better tracking and something to stop the stupid ass thing from hitting doors. And the hop, just why? It's terrible.
