Hey Bungie, Anarchy needs a Black Armory ornament since its the Black Armory raid exotic. Posted: 25 Jul 2020 05:17 PM PDT I dont think i have ever felt this passionate about a weapon needing an ornament as much as Anarchy. Imagine it the Anarchy with a sharper BA inspired look. All three of the house sigils indicating that it was something the houses where collaborative in making. Finally, you could give the lightning that BA Phase Radiance shimmer to really make it look good. I do understand the story behind Anarchy and its a good story but it just does not sit we with me that this weapon isn't BA themed. [link] [comments] |

1000+ Official Destiny renders and concept arts (Updated) Posted: 25 Jul 2020 05:25 AM PDT Hi, In case you haven't seen any of my old posts i have collected many Concept arts and 3D renders Bungie made for Destiny, dating back to the very beginning. I have upscaled many old concept art to 1080, and some of them are 2k or higher. I have 4 categories, one with weapons art , one with characters art, the third regroups all the worlds concept art and the stuff i didn't really know where to put, and i added recently a folder with all the radial vector art used in the background of many Destyin-related images (in game for instance). I added a few since the last time i posted. But seriously, Scarab Lords: I'm sure we would love the ability to carry a nearly unlimited amount of every consumable in a single stack. If the number 999999 fits across the bottom of the icon, let that be the limit. If I REALLY want to do that many Nightfalls/Forges/Blind Wells/Petra Bounties, let me keep the prisms and shards and rocks and raisins and Ballistics Logs and Modulus Reports in one stack each. And think of it like this: it's a way to give us more vault space.... WITHOUT REALLY having to give us more vault space! Think of how much tidier things would be if everyone with 65000 gunsmith parts could have them in one stack instead of six. It'd free up inventory slots and prevent nonsensical consumable stacks from clogging postmasters. Help us, Bungie-Wan Kenobi. You're our only hope. Also Prophecy is a work of art. Posted: 25 Jul 2020 02:38 PM PDT Last night I was on Destiny grinding the never ending grind when some friends said they were going to farm Shuro Chi for the Rat King catalyst. I figured, "Eh. I don't have that done yet and can hop in I guess. What else am I going to do?" Eventually there were 5 of us just messing around. Long story short, we beat Last Wish using Rat King and Falling Guillotine. It was the most fun I have had on Destiny in a while. Posted: 25 Jul 2020 10:21 AM PDT Just finished a 7 hour forges grind and complete since the daily reset of 24 July, 56 Izi forges. In over 30 forges I had either the bow or the pulse rifle frame and an Ada-1 armor consumable. I still didn't receive the Satou Tribe Shader, SadFace. Besides that I did just before weekly reset aroun 21 forges, also without luck and now I have to wait again until Tuesday. I just plain stupid that if you completed the hardest part of the seal (flawless SOTP), you need to pray to RNGesus so hard that he might bless you with the RNG you need in order to get that shader dropped. So Bungie please increase the drop rates for each successful forge. The fact that you only can get 1 frame in 3 forges runs if you did run out of your stack(s) modules report is just straight up an awful experience. Please make it a 5% chance that ramps up every time you do the (same) forge, up a 50% chance or even higher. TL;DR Increase the chance for Black Armory Shaders by 5% for each successful completion of a forge. Sorry for my rubbish English, but it isn't my native tongue, I'm tired and have dyslexia. Theory: In beyond light we will have to fight a vexified version of Asher Mir Posted: 25 Jul 2020 04:45 PM PDT Its my first time doing this kind of post, so I dont really know how to format this but here we go. Disclaimer: This theory hinges on a spoiler for a lore book that you get from the end of the evacuation quest line at the end of the season, so if your into that than be warned. In the lore piece Asher: Conclusion, after we, the guardian, see asher for the last time, he decides to storm the pyramidion as an attempt to learn the secrets of the vex before the darkness beats him to it(He believes the darkness is on Io for the same reason as him). In the end he reaches the lake where he lost his arm, but this time the lake is above him. He reaches out and the lake comes down on him Quote here: "He looked where the sky should be and found another impossible shape; another fractal contradiction. Far above him, placid in its Penrose vortex, the vast radiolarian lake lapped gently at the metallic shores. The man reached up to the lake with his metal arm. He then reached with his arm of flesh. He reached with both, and he brought the lake down." Now if you've seen the two trailers that we have gotten for beyond light, there is a vex structure that looks similar to the pyramidion. We know from the pyramidion strike dialogue that there are multiple pyramidions through out sol, and that there is a theory from Asher or Ikora(I dont remember who said it) that all the pyramidions are connected to the same internal space. Ever since Asher lost his arm, he has been slowly turning into a vex. What if, by being consumed by the lake, his transformation was accelerated. He would become a boss in this new pyramidion area (be it a strike or a story mission). By becoming a vex, he would learn all their secrets, and by defeating him, we would finally end his suffering(that is if he still feels anything). I know a lot of people dont like him based on his ingame dialogue, but I feel like this would be a pretty good end to his story. His story began in the pyramidion and ended in it. [link] [comments] |

Idea to fix it that’s not slapping on anti barrier Posted: 25 Jul 2020 11:31 AM PDT When people suggest buffs to skyburner's it's mostly just add anti barrier for cabal which thematically makes sense but won't really make it better it will just be a necessity. Although I'd still like it. Anti champion for me does not equal buff There are so many other problems with it that I don't even k ow where to begin although I did find it a lot of fun to use. ADS: Skyburner's as you should know has a lower fire rate in ads but higher damage. I'm not sure if this is in the weapon description but when I checked the "destiny 2 massive breakdown weapon stats spreadsheet" it sais the ads is 180 rpm and the hipfire is 225 although the description in game sais the rpm is 200 (but doesn't say for what fire mode so 🖕me I guess. The only upside to this is it seems the ads does more damage than normal 180 scouts with 60 head 40 body but the ttk is still 1.00 sec although more forgiving only needing 2h 2b compared to 3h 1b on I believe all resilience levels (maybe not 10). Still though doesn't make sense why the more "powerful" ads fire has only a ttk 0.07 seconds faster than the hipfire slugs hitting all bodyshots. With the hipfire being able to hit enemies at closer ranges it would make sense if this gun was a 150 rpm at ads with bodyshot ttk on these being famously horrible. If they get too close you could swap to the more forgiving tracking slug mode. It's secondary perk is for a dying race and isn't even that good: There aren't many cabal fights we have to do anymore because the red war campaign ended 3 years ago. Plus the buff itself is like 18% which isn't bad but isn't that good of a buff on it's own and the phalanx piercing rounds is definitely where the idea of adding anti barrier to it came from. So why not just use any current anti barrier weapon with any other damage buff? Maybe the buff should work more like an actual damage buff: Kill against cabal add a stack of conqueror (up to x5). One stack is removed for other faction enemies killed. The stacks are only removed on death or upon killing enough of other factions. Damage against cabal maxes out at 25% while other factions take up to 50% damage (for the cost of removing the stacks). Not sure if this would be the best idea but would keep it's identity as an anti cabal weapon. The catalyst sucks: Skyburner's has the oldschool catalyst where it's simply a stat boost. But the worst part about it is it's a range buff where the skyburner's oath slugs have no damage falloff. While range helps with reticle stickiness this is probably the weakest catalyst buff it could receive. Plus earlier I mentioned making it a 150 scout on ads so maybe it could have the intrinsic high range, low stability and handling of 150s but then change the catalyst to add +30 handling instead of range. Then as a secondary buff give the hipfire extra tracking especially against the head and I guess maybe give it anti barrier on cabal champions (never said it was a bad idea). Exotic Idea: The Diamondback - A fusion rifle from Tex Mechanica Posted: 25 Jul 2020 08:07 AM PDT Don't tread on me Stats Element: Void Impact: 100 Range: 10 Handling: 88 Stability: 10 Reload Speed: 45 Charge Time: 400 Magazine: 4 Perks Snake Oil - Disproportionately high impact for its charge time Polygonal Rifling Serpentine Coils - Weapon can be continuously overcharged, increasing range and stability but reducing movement speed. Field Prep Snapshot Visual Design: mostly what you'd expect from Tex Mechanica (Wood/Gold/Ivory) with snakeskin filigree along the top in the style of a western diamondback rattlesnake. Description: As you might have noticed, the impact is equivalent to a high-impact frame with liquid coils, while the range and stability are bafflingly low. This gives the ability the rapidly fire off hard hitting shots, but only at exceedingly close quarters where a shotgun would simply be better. Instead, the main draw of the weapon is that shots can be charged indefinitely unlike other fusion rifles. Over the course of 3 seconds after the original charging cycle, range and stability are increased linearly until they max out at 100 each. At the same time, movement speed is reduced by up to 90% at the same rate. This gives it massive range, much further than any other fusion rifle, while keeping people from running around with it permanently charged. Ideally this is intended to be a PVP centric weapon, with its main draw being a huge amount of versatility. It can be quick fired like a shotgun of focused into a pseudo-LFR to give the user a giant domain where one shot kills are possible, but only with a skilled hand. For ranges in between near and far, it's up to the user to charge it just enough to secure the kill. For PVE I envision it being fun, but not powerful enough to justify using in difficult content beyond possibly certain raid/dungeon encounters. Oh, and while charging it rattles loudly to alert nearby players of the distinct danger that they're in, and to enhance snake-based role-playing. Catalyst: Two Fangs - After firing an overcharged shot, the bonus range/stability are conserved for 3 seconds/1 shot. The movement penalty is not conserved. Posted: 25 Jul 2020 11:13 PM PDT I've played enough of Destiny 2 now that I can normally tell where an emblem comes from. When I saw the one that comes from the prophecy dungeon I had to look up how to get it. Now every time I see that emblem I always think "what a boss!" Cos I doubt I'll be able to flawless it solo lol It's an awesome little incentive that can make a difference to chasing loot and the harder challenges in the game.
