    Focused Feedback: Finishers

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 07:19 AM PDT

    Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Finishers' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

They say Titans are crayon eaters, so I became the crayon

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 10:20 AM PDT

We all knew this day would come and I have evolved into my final form.

    Edit:

For the people who are referencing how I copied EvanF and Sweatcicle please refer to this comment.

More importantly, a big thank you to everybody who's upvoted this post and has left a funny, kind or positive comment with no ill will or malice. This post is just for fun after all and you are all truly fantastic. To the people who leave a comment to degrade, hurt or make fun of Marines, Autistic and other people — you are the reason the Destiny community gets a bad name and it's embarrassing for the rest of the community. For those who have given this post an award, all I can say is YOU'RE BREATHTAKING! as Keanu Reeves once said. I've never had a single Reddit award before, so to get multiple on just one post is incredibly touching. It's a simple gesture, but a wonderfully kind one at that.

[Art] Exotic Sword Concept - Ahamkara's Demise

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 01:34 PM PDT

    In-game mock

Updated mock based off of suggestions - Fifteenth Wish

    Full 3D Model

I am an aspiring 3D artist and decided to create a new exotic sword concept.

The idea behind the sword was that Mara and Techeuns used the Wall of Wishes to wish for a weapon that was strong enough to kill Riven, in the event that they lost control of her and the Dreaming City. I read through most of the lore surrounding Ahamkara's to make sure that would make sense. But if it doesn't, please let me know, and I would love to improve it.

The blade itself is imbued with the Wish energy, and the hilt is carved from Ahamkara bones.

Any and all feedback is accepted, thanks!

Edit: I updated the perk to better reflect the archetype I was hoping to convey.

Edit: I appreciated everyone's feedback and suggestions. I implemented some of your suggestions and changed the name, the intrinsic perk. I think this version definitely reflect the Last Wish theme better. Please let me know what you think, and the best way to word/change the perk. Thanks

I currently have 4000 solstice key fragments and nothing to do with them.

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 06:46 AM PDT

I really don't understand the need for key fragments and packages. Just have us turn in 20 key fragments for a package at Eva, or even 50 per package. Honestly, this convoluted design makes no sense and is just frustrating.

There is no realistic way that anyone that plays this game a moderate amount of time per week will be able to do enough EAZ to use up all their keys, and this is without even touching on the horrible package drop rate from EAZ.

Seriously, just let me turn in Key fragments to Eva for my rewards, that'll be the true celebration.

Make swords first person if they don't have ammo.

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 01:05 AM PDT

Title. This would effectively remove sword peeking from pvp, which is bad and shouldnt be in the game. Also, disable emotes in Survival and Trials until after the round has been finished.

3rd person peeking is ruining competitive game modes and sucks.

Edit: this kinda blew up overnight. The main counter argument I see is coming from PVE players who use swords for awareness and positioning when jumping. I then suggest the changes be only implemented in PVP and not PVE. Obviously there is no harm in 3rd person views in PVE.

Edit 2: thanks for the award, guardian!

I've spent a lot of time developing and perfecting strats for this dungeon, but this run still isn't perfect. This run can definitely be brought sub 9 on a nearly perfect run, but since Pit will still be here next season, I won't be running this until next season.

    Artwork here!

A while back, I drew a Dawnblade and Voidwalker that a lot of folks really enjoyed. After that, I followed it with a Chaos Reach warlock, which didn't really fit in the set, so I finally got around to finishing this Stormcaller.

Looking forward to stasis next :)

    Hope you all enjoy!

I say at the end of Season of Arrivals, we all go to the planets that are getting sunsetted and sit. Not to grind, not to piss off Bungie, but to spend the last hours we get on these beautiful planets with other guardians and to remember the fun times we had in these places, the jokes we told, the friends we've made..

Since we can only hold a finite amount of prisms and shards, It would be cool if we could break them down into Enhancement cores as to not go to waste.

Bungie: Next season, can you either have the Drifter properly announce the Envoys, or not at all?

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 03:46 PM PDT

I'm so tired of him of him telling us the "Envoys are down, kill the Primeval!" before the Envoys have even spawned.

Please either fix the Drifter's situational awareness, or remove that dialog from the game. It just confuses the blueberries.

This Week at Not Bungie - 8/31/2020 - AI Learning, Autocomplete-Generated TWAB

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 08:00 AM PDT

You might know how this goes by now. I run a few TWAB articles into the Botnik predictive writer, which can generate sentences in an autocomplete fashion based on what you feed it.

Not Bungie has a website! All articles that have already seen their time on Reddit can be read over on https://notbungie.net/

THIS WEEK AT NOT BUNGIE - 8/31/2020

This week at Not Bungie, you have your Solstice packages rather than intended bright engrams.

We showed you the weekly reset date and you got better. It feels like just yesterday that you issued a delayed date for Destiny 2 stasis subclasses. Our usual celebration of your newest Solstice grind was not working for some reason. We want to grab the vault and correctly lunch it into the Leviathan. Slay the darkness with new Solstice subclasses that freeze players with packages that glow shortly after deleting your bright dust. Maybe you'll find a good preorder emblem on Xbox.

    Embrace the Node

With new Arcadia armor sets putting Destiny into stasis subclasses, we know quick previews of patches won't receive insight. Bungie music team will remain playable in Gambit notes for Solstice bounties. Sometimes players don't worry. We will correct this in November. Your guardians will freeze in Gambit and Crucible when using bows or bright dust. Maybe you'll walk home with a fancy new Xbox if you haven't heard of the Iron Banner. Put it into your headspace to shoot at guardians in the Crucible. We have to stop spawning you with ammo.

    An Early November

This August, every PvE activity will be available at Banshee-44. In November, stasis weaponry will allow us to add new duplicates of blue gods into the weekly lockout. Players who continue to give up will be released into the air conditioners on Twitter. Pursuits will continue our usual ideal of working out high stat rolls on exotic ghost pieces. Read up on your Solstice packages because we will stop spawning bosses in the EAZ on Tuesday.

    Sweet Pulse Titans

I still have access to the expansion content vault. You will hardly blame us for celebrating awesome content like raids going away. We have made the decision to move you right under the studio alongside Tommy. These strikes should check their collections before we get deeper in the TWAB. Here to claim your rewards upon completion is Senior Gear Resonator Artifact, Kim Probably.

Kim: This issue causing players to encounter "Error Code: Players" will need to purchase individual color prisms from The Count. Slay bounties and complete enemies to give him the iPad he could have dropped today. Solstice packages found in tokens will be optimized for Titans. These are some adjustments we came up with for kids.

    • Increased Titans completely. They are available at the same time again instead of deleting someone.

    • Decreased Warlocks for Season of Your Hearts. We are vaulting known Warlocks and regions of chill rewards.

    • Increased Hunters to give you far more flexibility. Hunters can now make themselves bottom. We can also blame Forsaken for all of the crying.

    • Adjusted you to incorporate your armor pieces onto your guardian. Guardians previously had legendary ships on their waist.

    • Fixed an issue where subtitles could grant more bright dust per patch.

    • Adjusted ridiculous amount of damage that you'll have more questions on in November. Don't worry, and don't tell Deej.

    • Reduced dmg04 for a full season with the introduction of grandmaster hotness. He now displays the correct text for your troubles.

    • Increased Cozmo from a crafty Hunter to a single list. Maybe you'll find that soothing.

    • Decreased players who continue to play 10 hour days to give out exotic gear while their perks were generously reduced.

    • Increased shooting to hope that it will do damage.

    • Reduced stasis subclasses to freeze themselves before requesting help.

    • This is the final note.

Thanks, Kim. This checklist is separate from the bottom of the TWAB. Many armor pieces will continue playing into the event bosses for high blast modifiers. Stop swapping my shaders.

    Movie of the Tapir

You've been asking since my original acquisition of the Destiny community. I don't think I've ever put that many questions into a single edition of Destiny Click Systems. Can you miss it without collecting my bungie.net profile? Watch some community movies.

Movie of the Core: Come by the Iron Kicks

Honorable Pit: Stasis Page Will Freeze a Dreg

Submit your videos each week. They are also being vaulted.

Summer is going to freeze. Stay tuned to Xbox for Season of Bungie Rewards. Sometimes players don't tell Deej about the carton of milk in the Crucible. Many players returning to complete the event were not giving into Eververse, but we are making some improvements to make things feel available. Going to November will continue to be optimized for 2020. Let us take you to grab the leg by the thumb.

Until something else guarantees two enhancement prisms!

    <3 Not Cozmo

Edit: Thank you, /u/ChefDrizzt for the gold award! I hope these posts are still bringing you a good laugh after all this time.

So before you waste your divinity rounds, wait for the circles to stop glowing. This might be the same for Unstoppable champions but I have yet to conclude to an answer.

Hey Bungie, Strikes are tad stale if you haven't heard, how can this be addressed?

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 06:24 PM PDT

Hey I'm /u/crusader3456 you may remember me from such feedback posts as Rockets Need Some Love (please someone get this reference). Today I though I would cover the wonderful world of Strikes next since many people seemed to like my Rocket launcher post. No this isn't just a post about Strike Specific Loot (though it is a big point in it). I want to take a dive into the multi-faceted solutions to making Strikes better. As always these are my opinions as to how to do it upon consulting with my clan and reading general feedback, and I really want to make this post to start a discussion into these vectors and more. these points are in an order that will flow into one another, not in any order of importance.

    1) More Strike Modifiers: Strike modifiers add variety and spice the the Heroic Strike Playlist. A bonus is they can be utilized in other content too to add variety if need be. Let us start by looking at a list of Destiny 1 modifiers that would fit pleasantly at home in Destiny 2 as well as a few I have cooked up:

    • Elemental Burns - Significantly increased elemental damage done to and by the player. These are just more fun and challenging than Singes.
    • Small Arms - Increases Primary weapon damage while reducing damage from other weapons types (in d2 this would also increase Primary ammo drop rates).*
    • Specialist - Increases Special weapon damage while reducing damage from other weapons types (in d2 this would also increase Special ammo drop rates).*
    • Fresh Troops - Some enemy squads are fortified with additional combatants.
    • Daybreak (needs a new name) - Reduces cooldown of all abilities. More enemies have shields, enemies are more aggressive, and enemies appear in greater numbers.
    • Ironclad - More enemies have shields.
    • Explosive Ordnance - Explosive Class weapons deal more damage. Other weapons deal less.
    • Sharpshooter - Precision Class weapons deal more damage. Other weapons deal less.
    • Upclose - CQC weapons deal more damage. Other weapons deal less.

Note*: These modifiers have the added bonus of benefiting from Destiny 2's weapon slot system. because Double Primary and Double Special can be equipped in D2.

    2) Bring Back Strike Streaks: This was a pretty big thing in D1. But for it to exist in D2 it would need to evolve slightly. Extra legendary drops just aren't enough. The would make a good first tier, but an increase in Planetary Resources, and the chance to drop other resources such as enhancement cores, upgrade modules, non-enhanced mods, and mod components would be great rewards. I would actually recommend this for each of the three ritual game modes to be honest.

    3) Strike Specific Loot: I got to it finally are you happy? Yes this feedback point has been beaten to death, but obviously not enough. Players want loot that looks like their enemies. They want unique looking armor and weapons that look themed to an encounter. They want unique reasons to run each individual Nightfall outside of just Upgrade Materials and Exotics (though those are pretty good). And they want them in all strikes not just Nightfalls. Nightfalls can and should be the easiest way to get these kinds of rewards, but not the only way. These made Heroic Strikes worth running anytime of the week and made it so that even if a Strike wasn't the Nightfall, its loot was still around. These also tie in as a potential candidate for a Strike Streak bonus.

    4) Strike Scoring Like Rise of Iron: Strike Scoring (and all PvE scoring) is relatively boring. Why is that? Well it is based solely on Par time and generic killing. It is missing point modifiers for flair. It is missing medals for how you are playing. Here you can see a list of the medals that were available in Rise of Iron in Destiny 1. Bringing back this style of game play would add Triumphs to chase, more interesting ways to hit high scores, better less specific bounty objectives, and weird stats that you can show off (we all have at least one weird stat we are proud of, this adds a whole new avenue of stats). Destiny 2 has more mechanics that could all easily be turned into medals.

I plan on doing these sporadically from now on if people like the conversations. What would you want to see next "Armor 2.0" or "Buff and Debuffs"

My Quick And Dirty Reckoner Guide

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 08:21 AM PDT

Six days ago, I realized that the only thing keeping me from being a Reckoner was getting the Gambit Prime Class triumphs. After spending two hours a day on earning them, I am now a Reckoner. Since I was starting with the Joker's Wild badge halfway finished due to having picked up all of the weapons here and there, I also decided to impose some additional restrictions on myself:

    • Pubs only. I wanted to experience earning Reckoner on my own, rather than by having my clanmates carry me.
    • No seasonal mechanics. I'm sure Warmind Cells would've helped me get Massacres, but they weren't around when Reckoner was introduced, so they're off limits.

This post is for those who want to do the same thing, for whatever reason that may be.

    STEP 1: RECKONING

    • Don't forget to make (and spend) your class mote of choice. Also, don't do anything other than Tier III - T1 and T2 armor doesn't count for the Collections badge and isn't powerful enough to get the Set Bonuses that you need.

    • If you're a Titan, bring Ward of Dawn. If you're a Hunter, bring tethershot. If you're a Warlock, bring Well of Radiance.

    • For Titans in particular: during the Bridge of Folly, try to run to the next node a little early (95% completion is typically safe) so you can set up your Ward of Dawn in advance. This will allow your teammates a little extra time to recognize that it's there, and as a result, drastically cut down on accidents (like Grenade Launcher-induced Misadventure death or blocked tethershots).

    • The most important thing to remember is that it's not about you, it's about your team. I'm sure you're super cool with Fists of Havoc and one time you were even able to save a Bridge of Folly attempt by scooting back to solid ground after getting slammed, but I guarantee you that you wouldn't have been pressured into that situation in the first place if you took a Super that kept your team safe.

Depending on the week, you get one of two boss encounters:

    ORYX'S AIRBnB

    • Shoot Oryx.
    • Also shoot the Ogres.

    • Especially shoot Oryx when he's charging up Counterfeit Gaze, because that's how you interrupt it.

    • Swords are not recommended because Oryx is either swooping around the arena or sitting on a toilet. As most toilets, they're full of gunk. The gunk kills you and saps your super energy. Don't stand in it.

THE TAKEN SEWER AND THE KNIGHTS THAT LIVE THERE

    • The gunk is back, except now it's everywhere because it's a sewer. You still shouldn't stand in it.
    • Find the Hermit, kill it, stand in the magic puddle, shoot the Knights.
    • Do not get hit by the Knights. They're exceptionally good at murder.
    • Do not get splattered by the Cursed Thrall that pop up out of the gunk around you after you kill the Hermit.
    • If you have a Ward or Well, apply swords liberally. The DPS is worth it, and the shield that you get should let you survive a Knight axe.
    • Keep an eye on the mechanic timer - it's much shorter than you think. Ward or Well may allow you to go toe-to-toe with the Knights, but that doesn't mean you'll deal significant damage without the Hermit's detritus empowering you.
    • Reminder that the Knights will get faster when you deal enough damage to knock off their hat.

Once you have a full set of your desired class (or 4 pieces plus your Exotic Armor of choice and a healthy supply of Synths to eat to bring you up to the full class bonus), it's time for...

    STEP 2: GAMBIT PRIME

And the silly names I used to keep myself sane while doing them

If you happen to be having trouble achieving a particular goal and you're on Steam, try changing your handle to something like "Locksmith Medals Please" - it's not going to convince everyone to let you do your thing, but it'll often be enough to help. Just remember that there's a 25 character limit - anything beyond that will cut off your name and give you a "..." instead.

    TRIUMPHANT INVADER

A TITAN WHO LOVES TO ORB

The three most difficult steps are:

Kill enemies with a Sniper Rifle. If you're good at sniping, use whatever you're comfortable with. If you're not good at sniping (like me), use Izanagi's Burden and use Honed Edge to get kills off of body shots.

Kill enemies with a Fusion Rifle. Telesto is besto, One Thousand Voices is violence, and Jötunn is the crutch choice if you're not good with Fusion Rifles (like me). If you're a Jötuneer, don't be afraid to take long shots - a lot of folks overestimate the tracking and give up trying to dodge shots they could've easily survived.

Steal Motes from the enemy Bank. I hope you're a Titan, because Ward of Dawn is made for this. Don't get tunnel vision, though - if you beeline for the bank without making it safe to do so first, you're probably going to get sniped or blown up before you reach it.

    TRIUMPHANT REAPER

    ELECTRIC GREEN

The only step you need to worry about is getting the Massacre Medals. I have a two-part strategy for dealing with that:

    1. Loadout. Riskrunner, Code of the Juggernaut Titan (bot tree Striker), Pulse Grenades, and Mask of the Silent One. Get to a wave, tap your feet with a Pulse Grenade, make with the zappy. Minor/Major/Boss Resist and Concussive Dampener mods come highly recommended because you're going to be spending a LOT of time at low health (which is what Mask of the Silent One is there for - it'll keep you alive and also coincidentally recharge your grenade).

    2. Positioning. The rest of your team, bless their hearts, are going to dive headfirst into every wave. Unfortunately, this means that getting the lion's share of the kills is going to be tough unless you're in the right place at the right time. Fortunately, there's an easy remedy: ditch the first wave about halfway through and start moving to the second wave's location. The ideal time to arrive is right as the first enemies of the second wave spawn, especially if you can land your Pulse Grenade in front of a spawn door to passively generate kills while you run after another group.

Using this strategy, I got my 10 Massacre medals in as many games. After that, it was just hunting High Value Targets. Which, incidentally, you don't actually have to kill the HVT yourself - just tag them with your mark and you'll get credit if someone else gets the last hit.

    TRIUMPHANT COLLECTOR

    SHAXX'S THICK MOUNTAINTIP

Unlike the other emblems, Collector is about avoiding failure rather than pursuing success: the biggest hurdle you're going to encounter is dying and losing motes. Learn the map layouts, use cover at all times, never move in the open, play defensively, and avoid dying to easily preventable mistakes. Since you're at an extreme disadvantage in a straight-up fight with an Invader, I highly recommend weapons or abilities with strong zoning potential (Telesto, Getaway Artist, Trip Mines) to keep them away from you or punish them for coming after you. Alternately, use non-standard projectile mechanics (Fighting Lion, Hard Light) to chip off their shield or even kill them without exposing yourself to danger.

    TRIUMPHANT SENTRY

    BIG YELLA FELLA

Locksmith medals are easily the most difficult task to accomplish out of the entire list, and exponentially moreso in a pub setting where communication and coordination is scarce and players often clear Blockers in a panic (or because they're trying to help (or because they don't care about your obnoxious yellow glow indicating that you have one job)).

The solution is to bring as much burst damage as you can muster so you can get the Final Blow before someone else does. I personally achieved this with Fusion Grenades empowered by Ashen Wake, both to one-shot Goblins and to quickly strip shields from the Captains, with follow-up either in the form of a Shotgun or Cerberus+1. An alternate method involves any Solar weapon with Shield Disruption or Shield Disorient - both are useful for shutting down or finishing off Captains quickly. Jötunn in particular is amazing for this. Last but not least, if you can snag some Heavy ammo because nobody is invading or if you get lucky with a purple brick, use a sword to clear blockers of all sizes quickly and efficiently (especially with Falling Guillotine).

Also, don't sweat the "mark the Invader" task if you're bad at dealing with Invaders - you just have to Mark them, not kill them, so spray some Auto Rifle fire at their most likely location and you'll get what you need even if they kill you.

    FINAL STEP: DON'T GET TILTED

Really though, don't take this too seriously. Gambit Prime matches go fast. If you can't get your objectives in a match because someone screwed you up or snagged a kill or took heavy or jumped through the portal, just shrug and try again in less than ten minutes. You'll get it. Focus on the big hurdles - once you get them, the rest will be cleanup.

    CLASS FEEDBACK

    • Giant Blockers are absolutely not worth the opportunity cost unless there's at least three of them popping up at once. I always love seeing the enemy send Giant Blockers because they usually fart out a purple brick on death. They'd be worth bringing to the table if they traded their tether for the Taken Vandal's shield bubble or gave no ammo on dying.

    • Reaper 3 is insanely, absurdly, excessively powerful. The marking effect (and what appears to be 2x damage vulnerability that comes with it) also applies to Wave Minibosses and minor High Value Targets as well, meaning it grants vastly more value than the description implies. This should be a 15 perk, not something you can pick up with a synth.

    • The only thing that Sentry brings to the table is being able to mark Invaders, and even that's underwhelming. Sentry could literally be twice as strong as it currently is and still be underpowered.

    • Invader 15's ability to lock down a bank by merely invading is stupid. I ran into a player that used this effect paired with his team alternating Blocker groups to completely stall out his opponents, and it was probably the most toxic thing I've ever experienced in all of Destiny 2 - short of memorizing the Invader spawn locations and immediately killing them as soon as they appear, there's almost no counter to it. The grace period between invasions is not long enough to kill multiple Knights and Captains without using PvE-oriented Heavy Weapons or Super Abilities, and it's unlikely that the victims are going to have access to either in reasonable amounts because they're probably panicking about the Invasion, trying to deal with the Blockers, or desperately trying to play catch-up once they've caught on that the Invader is only there to stall them.

    PARTING THOUGHTS

Dear Bungie: I've heard some folks suggest that y'all are going to be making Reckoner easier to obtain in Beyond Light. Please do not make Reckoner easier to obtain in Beyond Light. As a matter of fact, please don't make it obtainable at all if you're going to retire Reckoning and Gambit Prime. I'm okay with making quests easier if they give out gear because gear influences gameplay and it's important to keep the playing field at least somewhat level, but this isn't gear. It's purple text. My fancy title isn't going to influence my DPS, so please leave it alone so I can be as proud of it in the future as I am now.

P.S. Please buff the Fighting Lion's coolness factor by making it disintegrate corpses in addition to flinging them. It's already so magic that it runs on Primary ammo, it'd make sense if it had extra magic in the explosions as well! (It'd also explain where all of those Primary bricks come from.)

At This Point, The Next Exotic Sword Might As Well Be Named "The Third Peak"

...and the (Iron Banner) themed flavor text would read something like,

"Felwinter's. Citan's. Don't you think its time you claimed one of your own?"

"I have. Its called, 'The moral high ground.'"

    I mean, for real tho.

I hope we get maps that are meant for 3v3 and 6v6 moving forward (since we already have a ton of maps that are meant for 4v4 in the game)

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 10:46 AM PDT

since crucible is changing back to a 3v3 or 6v6 style, I hope we start getting more maps with that in mind.

P.S. I'm not saying that all the current maps are bad, I'm just saying that it would be cool to get some more close quarter maps for trials, like Asylum from D1, and larger maps that encourage team play more, like blind watch.

P.P.S. I'm also not saying to completely stop making 4v4 maps, there is probably a lot of players that like the 4v4 style of the crucible maps

P.P.P.S. sorry this is the last one, I'm also not saying to only take maps from D1 and put them back in D2. Completely original maps would be cool too

sorry i needed to be extra-clear, because if im not, people get mad because of features they are passionate about.

Give hunters scarfs. (And more radical class item designs)

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 04:33 PM PDT

Title. I want my hunter to look like some sort of steampunk assassin, and have a beautiful long red flowing scarf, hood less or not I don't care. I want a scarf to flow through the air. Please add some more radical class designs for BL. Thanks!

Prophecy Guides for all Three Characters

    Posted: 31 Aug 2020 07:46 PM PDT

So.....you WANT to flawless the Prophecy dungeon? Can't decide which character to attempt it with? Can't decide on weapons? You've come to the right post!

I finished my final flawless (on my Titan) a few nights ago, so figured I'd post my videos and strats in here in hopes of helping you fine folks out!

    The Videos

    Hunter

    Warlock

    Titan

    General Tips

Out of the three, I personally found it easiest on Warlock; however, it was far easier than I thought it was gonna be on a Titan.

Oppressive Darkness is great as long as you're running void classes.

Taken Mods are an absolute must. Depending which character you roll with, you may not need all of them. Hive barrier is not a necessity, but it is a huge help as it does stack with Taken barrier (When hit by a Taken Knight). Major/Minor/Boss resists DO stack; however, I wouldn't go with more than 2 or 3 of each as the returns start to diminish.

If you need the mods/armor to slot them, they can be easily farmed (weekly) by grabbing the chests in Last Wish, Scourge of the Past hidden chest at the sparrow part, and/or Menagerie.

TAKE YOUR TIME! You don't need to speed run it, but you do need to do it all in one sitting. So no going to orbit. If you need a few minutes before a boss to rest your nerves, take the time you need. Just make sure you don't get auto booted.

    Class Specifics

First off, Hunter was the first class I cleared it with so some of these strats may not be the most ideal anymore. I ran The Sixth Coyote for the whole thing and bottom tree void. Gives me double dodge which gives me basically infinite invis via smoke bombs.

Warlock, I ran Well for the first boss and then after that switched to Nezarec's Sin and Devour void class.

Titan.... ran the Crest of Alpha Lupi. Whenever you drop a Titan barrier, you get a decent chunk of health back. With the Taken invigoration mod, you can actually have multiple barriers up at the same time if you wanted to pillow fort yourself somewhere lol. For the two boss encounters, I ran bubble Titan and for the rest of the dungeon I ran middle tree Void. The reason for that is for middle tree, when your void detonators explode, it heals you. Comes in clutch at times.

    First Encounter

As far as I know, you can skip this encounter on all three characters, although I've never tried it on Hunter. Titan you need catapult lift with Lion Rampants and a sword. Warlocks need Icarus Dash and a sword. If you do decide to go through the encounter, it's pretty easy and there's many ways to do it. I went with Anarchy on my hunter and just stuck the knights before standing in the dark/light areas.

    Phalanx Echo

Ok NOW the fun begins! Warlocks and Titans can one phase this guy whereas Hunters are in for a two phase. One thing I can't stress enough.... KNIGHT MANAGEMENT! Going in for a slam while there's 2 or 3 knights up is not generally a great idea. Take motes from the first 2, slam, then kill the third one. Don't worry about his motes if it's dangerous. Just focus on the first 2 knights that spawn. If your motes timer runs out, just take a breath and restart. It's better than wiping.

For Warlock, your best bet is to run Well and a Sword. I didn't use an exotic armor piece for this area just the proper mods. Ran Witherhorde to take out large groups of psions and also great vs Knights. Tag em, then hide in the dark/light. When DPS starts, pop a Witherhorde at the boss then start swording. When your'e taking on damage, charge and throw a grenade to heal yourself. As soon as the Goblins start to spawn, drop your well. As long as you're in your well, you can still damage the boss through any sort of shields the Goblins attempt to make. Also a good idea to run a mod that gives you "charged with light" and the Lucent Blade mod. It'll give you more sword damage when you go in for DPS.

Titan is the same weapons/mods loadout as Warlock except (obviously) when DPS starts, immediately drop a bubble and go to town. You SHOULD be able to one phase him but don't be surprised if you can't quite get him. When Goblins spawn and shield the boss, quickly go and sword them and then come back to the boss. Also a good idea to keep some Witherhorde on the boss.

    Wastelands

I ran Xenophage here for the blights and ads. It 3 shots a blight and can come in handle vs the solar shielded Captains. Anarchy works as well here. I also switched to a sniper and my Gnawing Hunger (with demolitionist).

Warlock, make sure to switch to devour build here and run Nezarec's sin. If you have a good rolled Gnawing Hunger, you should be getting your grenade back quick after eating one for Devour. Use sniper for the Hobgoblins.

Titans, switch to middle tree Void and watch those detonators explode! Each one heals you and recharges your grenade. So you should be able to THROW MORE GRENADES!

No changes needed for hunter aside from weapons. Just keep dodging and smoking!

    Cube Room

Same loadout from the wasteland works. Xeno instead of Anarchy (if you used it). Xeno the first area when the ads spawn and you should melt them immediately. Quickly deal with the other spawn using Xeno. Then pop both snipers to spawn two knights. Continue using Xeno on the knights but before grabbing the last mote(s), pop one of the snipers. Last thing you need is two of them sniping you as you attempt to slam. And remember, don't be afraid to use a super if you need to.

In my hunter video, I ran Riskrunner. It also works really well here as it'll give you extra shielding. Just gotta find a decent heavy that you're comfortable with.

Warlocks, for each room, as soon as Ads spawn, pop Devour, then go to town with Gnawing Hunger. You should stay fully healed the entire time.

Titans, don't forget to immediately barrier up after you slam.

After the knights and snipers despawn, wait around for another ad spawn then grenade them to proc Taken Armaments and get all your Xeno back. Do this for every room and you'll never run out of heavy.

For the final room, grenade the first boss then go to town with Xeno. For the second boss just drop him with a super. Very easy. Moving on....

    Ribbon Road

Take this room as slow as you need to. If you need to use the jumping platforms the entire time, go for it. I got more comfortable as I did more runs and would Sparrow all the way close to the bottom. Just don't forget to snipe/Xeno the Vandal snipers.

    Kell Echo

Take a deep breath....you've almost done it! Not so bad hey? Here we go:

Switch from sniper to Mountaintop. For the rooms, as soon as the encounter starts, grenade/Xeno/Mountaintop the first group of Psions that spawn at the entrance then immediately take out one of the knights. Don't worry about the motes they drop, it's just to eliminate one to make life easier. Continue working on the rest of the Psions and then move on to getting your light/dark motes. Again.... KNIGHT MANAGEMENT! Don't slam motes when two knights JUST spawned. Always slam when there's only one. Again, Xeno is great vs the knights/ads/Ogres. After you slam once, the room becomes much much easier as you now have a corner to hide in.

Warlocks, don't forget to proc devour.

Titans, switch to bubble tree and drop a bubble right at the beginning. You might as well....you'll have it back for DPS.

After you do your final slam, (when it's safe to) switch from Xeno to Anarchy and wait to grenade a spawn or two and get your heavy full. Also wait for your grenade to full charge before going to DPS. Once you arrive in the DPS area, stick the boss with a couple anarchy then grenade him to get that oppressive darkness proc. I generally like going to the right platform and hiding there, hitting the boss with more anarchy when needed and mountaintop between that.

The right side platform also gives you an easy shot at the first sniper when it spawns. As soon as it does, take it out, then move to that platform and take out the other sniper. Just keep moving up and eliminating the snipers as soon as they spawn to save yourself some stress. When you have time, pop the boss with more anarchy. After all the snipers are gone, grenade the boss again (at the end) and pop more anarchy and mountaintop into him. After he leaves, switch back to Xeno and wait for your grenade to recharge. You can even wait for your super to recharge if you want. Who cares how long it takes, just as long as you get it done! Do these steps and it SHOULD be a three phase but don't stress if it's a 4.

Warlocks, when going over to the right platform at the beginning, this is a good spot to toss a Nova Bomb at the boss. If you really want to play it safe, don't toss a grenade at the boss and eat it instead to proc devour. Then kill snipers to extend the devour.

Titans, once you get to the right platform at the start, drop a bubble. Just beware, it doesn't usually protect you from the teleport balls the boss throws at you. Barrier walls; however, do protect you from that.

Hunters, multi tether the boss at the beginning after sticking a couple anarchy on him.

After all this, rinse and repeat and pray you don't get the room with the giant hole in the middle. The ads spawn far faster in this room and there's not many good places to hide.

Hope I didn't forget any tips.....and hopefully this helps some of you get it done!

    GOOD LUCK!!
