| 'Vault of Glass' Raid Launch Megathread Posted: 22 May 2021 09:06 AM PDT Warning: Spoilers InboundGreetings Guardians! The time has come to once again to make your own fate in Vault of Glass. Watch the race to world first on Twitch! Let's teach the vex a lesson they can't seem to learn.Contest Mode is active for the first 24 hours, which means your power level will be capped at 1300 for all encounters. For Contest Mode in DSC Artifact power was disabled in the raid, if this is true again you need a base power level of 1300. Any additional levels will provide no difference. Depending on when you complete the raid, you'll not only get in-game rewards - but the chance to show your accomplishment in the real world:

| Koreans have no way of communicating in-game right now. Posted: 22 May 2021 04:44 AM PDT (tldr below) Since the Windows 10 update from... somewhere around March 2020, Korean players who had their Windows client updated were unable to type in Korean in the fireteam/clan chat. We were unable to communicate in Korean anymore, and were forced to use only English or had to use discord or third-party software to communicate freely. This was a known bug, even the Korean official bungie twitter acknowledged this, and said they were going to pass it to the team (This was.. September 2020 if I recall correctly). Nothing has changed since, and more and more people are getting their ability to type Korean taken away by Windows. Now, another bug causing the Korean letters (and pretty much all non-english characters) to just appear as rectangles has emerged this season. This bug initially only applied to the roster tab, making anyone with non-english names unable to distinguish one from another. But it quickly spread to maps and destination names, and some people were unable to read anything on the map. Another new problem has risen: we cannot see or send fireteam chat. We think this is a bug branching off from the previous bug, since they were concurrent. We also figured out that this was a bug regarding steam servers, because as far as we know fireteam chat is steam-server-based, not bungie.net-based. We need a fix, and we have been asking for one since March 2020. I don't think the team is currently working on this so this is a bump for the devs I guess. I am 100% sure that more than half of the players are unable to type in Korean right now, and I'm guessing about 70~80% of the Korean playerbase are having this trouble (personal statistics, but fairly reliable). Thanks is advance! tldr; Us Koreans cannot read/send fireteam chat, on top of not being able to write Korean letters at all. We currently have no means to communicate via in-game chat, and have to rely on third-party software like discord. If you can't work as a team member, don't join team activities. Maybe my luck is awful when it comes to matchmaking in nightfalls? Hunters could get a Void blade, Titans could get an Arc Static blade and Warlocks would have a flaming sword. Or just give all 3 class swords all 3 elements with maybe stasis cosmetics too. Most of all it felt really satisfying to go into that lost sector at a low level and come out on top to get it first go. It's been a while since destiny made me woot and yell. I just love running around making white orbs. I feel like i'm helping and ever since D1 I wanted Sunsinger to really shine with the support type vibes. Just imagine if there was a multi exotic mode. I'm racking my brain trying to think of a stationary target with a lot of health that will allow me to test and compare damage fall off points between weapons. Rather than having 12 different (maybe there even more) ammo finder mods, for different types of guns (and sword), how about just 2 kinds (special and heavy, since everything already drops primary)? Then, we wouldn't need to go in and switch the mods on our armor, every time we switched weapons (which, for me, happens often, while doing bounties).
