    The amount of people I’ve seen complaining about the difficulty of endgame content is astounding

    It's ENDGAME CONTENT, not "give me free weapon" content. These types of activities are meant for teamwork and coordination. It's not meant to be easy, it's something that's gonna take a couple of attempts your first time around. It was super satisfying finishing the Proving Grounds GM for the first time. My teammates and I felt like we had accomplished something by defeating those huge ass tanks. End of rant, just something I've observed in the community recently.

    Edit: we were killing wyverns in less than 5 seconds. When you work together (what a concept), they aren't that bad to deal with.

    Edit 2: whoever said I was suicidal, real funny. You should go into comedy.

    Blind well

    This game is intense !!!! I went to the Dreaming city and stumbled upon the Blind Well . WOW!!! There was a group , ( possibly a clan ) of about 6 guys already doing battle . I joined in . We must have faught for and hour or more . It was fantastic . I think we beat it once, but then immediately, another gaurdian had the right piece to go again .. Totally awesome ..

    Hey bungie if i'm opening a GAMBIT engram from the drifter it would be really nice to get gambit stuff instead of a long shadow...

    same goes for crucible and vanguard engrams, really i don't understand the change, it was better the way it was before. play gambit you get gambit stuff, play crucible get crucible stuff and play vanguard operations, get stuff from there, it helped a bit with the immersion of "you're working/helping that npc"

    now that i'm forced to play gambit thanks to that stupid triumph i don't get gambit guns neither after a match or from drifter's engrams. nice.

    I hope we get to explore the Last City more in depth before its inevitable destruction.

    Some of the most memorable times in Destiny 2, for me, were when we got to fight through the Last City in the Red War Campaign and getting to run around during that public event leading up to the Traveler's repair.

    I just think it would be nice to explore certain areas, populated with civilians and children, do a few light hearted bounties like gathering spinmetal for a little kid's birthday party and earn items/cosmetics from them in return.

    The possible destruction of the Last City looms ahead, especially if the prophecies are true. I want to experience what we are fighting for.

    How to beat the GLASSWAY on GRANDMASTER difficulty explained in about 8 minutes!

    Hello! I'm back! You might remember me from my short grandmaster nightfalls guide from last season. Since then I have made a new reddit account to reflect my current in game alias since you can't change display names on reddit. Anyway… happy to be back!

    This grandmaster is brutal… BUT, 100% do-able. I equate the boss fight to a bit of a chess match. If you play it improperly, you will spawn a whole slew of ads that will surely overrun you and make your life miserable. The key to this fight is boss HP management, as every half of a bar (or 1/6th hp) you take off of a boss triggers the spawn of something, usually wyverns or overload minotaurs.

    As far as loadout recommendations go, I played around with a whole bunch of different stuff but the one thing I want to touch on here that wasn't mentioned in the video is blinding grenade launchers. They are nice, but I find that ursas, shadebinder, and omnioculus solve any problems that blinding GLs solved. If you want to use them, be my guest! But the loadouts mentioned in the video are what I found the most success with.

    As challenging as grandmasters are, especially Glassway, it's pretty sad to go through 30-45 minutes of pure pain without receiving the reward you are going for. As rewarding as it felt just to finish Glassway, that feeling soon gave way to dread of going through it all over again. I know most grandmasters aren't as challenging as overload minotaurs teleporting while rushing you in a 5x5 room, but I feel like if ascendant shards are guaranteed (I think?), then the real reason your doing the GM, being for the weapon, should be as well.

    How do you complete the GM glassway boss fight?

    I made it to the boss fight with no problem. My fireteam stuck together in the left tunnel. We were immediately pinned down by 3 overload champions and the two hydras. We took care of the small hydra and 2 overload champions before we all died.

    I use Ursa Furiosa with witherhoard an arc scout and a void rocket launcher.

    Also I do not own anarchy.

    Ships and sparrows should use the favorite system that finishers use (and the sparrow system needs an overhaul)

    I've got a lot of cool looking ships and sparrows; it'd be nice if each time I call my sparrow or go to orbit, it would randomly select from my favorite ones.

    Making ships do this would be simple, them being glorified loading screens and all.

    Obviously, sparrows would need a few changes:

    -First, all sparrows should be the same speed; any sparrow with less than max speed might as well not exist (Leaving the Always On Time situation for a different discussion).

    -Second, the sparrow perk should just be selectable. Having to reroll a newly acquired sparrow from collections for the perk I want is pointless busywork and drain on legendary shards.

    The best way to have this is to separate the sparrow objects from sparrow perks/stats, and then use the favorite system on it.

    Hand cannons and shotguns. Aside from the brief AR meta, this has pretty much been the story since foresaken.

    Before 120s it was 140s. Before 140s it was 150s. Before 150s it was 180s. Before that we had double primary weapons.

    How about a little balance?

    What the hell are you talking about OP?

    For anyone who never got the chance to experience the old leviathan's breath quest: you were sent into the arms dealer strike with blackout, slightly upscaled enemies, and an altered final fight where our favorite green-clad rhino got an upgrade: huge burning reticles would appear on the players every few seconds and force them to move less they want a ballistic missile to the face.

    O.K., why should we use this?

    now the big thing about this was it forced team coordination and proper movement on what is normally considered to be one the easiest strike bosses in the game, It was honestly thrilling to constantly be on the move in the huge arena with blackout gladiators bull-rushing us and huge explosions going off everywhere. In an age where many later strikes outclass AD in both variety and challenge I think it would "spruce up" an existing strike without taking too much dev time.

    In other words, it made it harder without bloating the damage and hp values, instead it forced players to reposition constantly while zahn was sniping the crap out of you. and it wasn't as easy to nuke him unless you exploited the elevator chain spawn glitch.

    But I want to farm this strike for easy golf balls on grandmaster! OP is a dummy dumdum

    Just farm the lake of shadows strike, it's short and sweet and nothing will catch you off guard once you have run it a few times.

    Prophecy Dungeon gives has a x4 multiplier for one of the Raid/Dungeon Transmog Bounties

    If you get the 150 kills with each element bounty, go to the very first encounter of Prophecy and keep killing the thralls and knights. Each of them will count as 4 kills, making this bounty really easy to complete :)

    Keep shooting the Overloads!

    Hey, everyone. Just came to drop a tip for Grandmaster Nightfalls you may not realize.

    If you stun an Overload Champion, KEEP SHOOTING IT WITH OVERLOAD. It may un-stun, but even during the cooldown to stun again, the Overload Shots will stop it's health Regen!

    Did my first grand master nightfall and it was amazing. Difficult, challenging content that you have to work hand and hand with your team. Building synergies, chaining supers. It's the reason I play video games. Tackling challenging content with buddies.

    Quests obtained from PvE activities should never force you to do PvP

    Let me preface this: I hate the crucible. I hate it possibly more than any other player. I think it's unbalanced, I think it's incredibly unfun, and whenever I'm forced to play it for a quest I get around 2-4 kills a game before I give up for the night. I've been trying to finish my Cryosthesia quest line for weeks. If I had to pay 250k glimmer to get credit for a single kill, I'd do it. That's how much I hate the crucible.

    Call me wrong, a bad player, whatever you want. But there has to be a sizable chunk of the playerbase that feels the same. I don't want to get guardian kills. I just want to play PvE content. What reason does Bungie have to force players to do crucible games? Can't we have an alternative? Similarly, can't crucible-only players have an alternative to doing PvE for quests?

    Bungie, please. I love this game, but I will never love the crucible.
