    Daily Vanguard Modifiers

    Affect Strikes, Menagerie, Heroic Missions & Adventures

    • Arc Singe: Arc damage increases slightly from all sources.
    • Blackout: Enemy melee attacks are significantly more powerful, and radar is disabled.
    • Grenadier: Grenade abilities deal more damage and recharge much faster.

    • Ace in the Hole (PL 750) - Titan, Moon of Saturn. Track down Cayde's personal stash so you can repair the Ace of Spades.
    • High Plains Blues (PL 750) - The Tangled Shore. Search the Tangled Shore for Cayde's killers.
    • Scorned (PL 750) - The Tangled Shore. Follow Spider's tip to the Scorned Barons' hideout and avenge Cayde-6.

    Bungie, why on this Travelers blessed Earth did Breakneck get MURDERED abut recluse is still the same?

    For those who don't know, when Breakneck procs the firerate increases, but so does the damage. Now the damage is REDUCED when the fire rate is increased. Aztecross put up a video about it and why? It's a goddamn PINNACLE AUTO RIFLE, so at one point did ANYONE on this reddit say breakneck is too overpowered? But at the same fucking time you left Recluse EXACTLY the same? I really don't get the reasons behind this at all. You guys always wanted the Meta for both PvP and PvE to shift, but this single handily cemented that recluse is the god gun for PvE.

    Edit: the Breakneck changes are at 5:10 on the video.

    AND BROADSWORD TOO! forgot about that, kinda hard when the phone is almost dead. It got a -20%, yes that's a minus to weapon damage when Desperado is active. Really?

    What if each week there was one raid in addition to Garden of Salvation that dropped pinnacle loot?

    A weekly rotation through old raids would be a nice way to offer both additional pinnacle drops and a larger incentive to play older raids. They could even boost up the light of the active raid so that it was on light with the people running it.

    Its been said before but I'm gonna say it again. SHIPS SHOULD DROP THEIR TRANSMAT EFFECTS WHEN DISMANTLED.

    It doesn't seem that complicated and is something players have wanted for awhile now.

    Edit: this is a problem when ships drop with the effect equipped or if you have old ships that you equipped effects to before collections so the effects aren't in your collection.

    So let me get this straight. There are NO new Iron Banner weapons and the armor is basically a reskin of Season of the Drifter armor. Is that correct?

    Seriously, what the fuck are we doing here Bungie? No world loot refresh, no vendor refresh what so ever, and now this? The raid armor is essentially a reskin, but I'm willing to give that a pass because it looks pretty cool, even with the reskin. But now the Iron Banner Armor is a reskin, and there are no new weapons?

    What happened to the days of DLC giving a Vanguard, Crucible, faction, trials and IB loot refresh. TTK and ROI (I'm also pretty sure HoW gave refreshes to everything to) gave full refreshes to all of that, and you don't even have factions or trials to worry about refreshing anymore. This DLC reeks of the bare minimum being done. Sure I can look at armor 2.0 and see that that's a good change, but that has very little to do with the art department. Also, there aren't many exotics or new perks in this DLC. I'm sitting here collecting the same Anonymous Autumn I was collecting a year ago.

    We as a community have to let Bungie know that the lack of loot is unacceptable. Even if they have to bring back weapons and armor from D1, there has to be a complete loot refresh every 6 months atleast.

    You force us to fight through all these mobs, you don't let us nuke the boss...whatever, I can at least get a nice huckleberry killcounter boost, or advance my wendigo quest. HAHA NOPE!

    This boss fight was designed to be anti fun, and it's evil. I don't mean to use hyperbole, but it's probably the most evil thing ever done by a gaming company.

    Honestly wouldn't be surprised if the dev was under the effects of some mind bending psychedelic drug.

    Heads up New Light players and New Players to Iron Banner. CAPTURE THE ZONES

    Control is not all about kills, it's about zones

    Holding 2 zones and then CONTROLLING them is your key to victory. More Zones = More Kill points


    TIP - In Iron Banner capturing 3 zones causes a lock down. DO NOT LET THIS FOOL YOU INTO 6v1'ing THE ENTIRE TEAM TO GET IT

    Play smart, stick together, capture zones together as a team, push when you have supers or heavy advantage and always remember, CAPTURE THE ZONES

    TIP 2 - Light level matters, you WILL feel it if you are under levelled or under 940 at best. I'm talking 1 less shot to kill feel it if you are way down.

    THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GET YOUR SCOUT RIFLE KILLS WHEN THERES 6 MINDBENDERS COMING FOR YOUR TEETH

    So STICK TOGETHER. Be the Guardian who captures zones first, supports second

    TIP 3 - GET A TEAM.

    Yes, this is always a sore point but there are many, many 6 stacks using the best of the best weapons in game. They will taunt you, they will hurt you, they will rub their crotch in your face

    DON'T LET THIS DEFEAT YOU, PUSH FORWARD, DUST YOURSELF, GET BACK OUT THERE AND MAKE SHAXX PROUD

    PvP is always better with friends.

    Anyone agree with Aztecross here? I do think that they should undo some of the nerfs to perks like Rampage.etc for PvE, especially for the nerfs to Breakneck and Redrix's for PvE

    Some weapons/perks were absolutely murdered for PvE with no real reason for it.

    And all of those are even more egregious considering that Recluse, even with the nerf, is still stupid OP for PvE, due to the nature of its perk in general, which they can't really change much, otherwise it would remove it from the game as Master of Arms as a perk, at it's weakest state, will still be OP due to it effectively equalizing Bodyshot and Headshot Damage.

    Also, a side-effect of this nerf is, unless if you have a really slow reloading weapon or are specing out for a melee built, Kill Clip is the best all-around option now

    It has the same 33% buff that Rampage X3, Swashbuckler X5, and Multi-kill Clip X2 has, but for only one kill and a reload.

    So, with this nerf, where they intended to make people want to use more perks in PvE, based on the numbers, it will likely make people only really want Kill Clip and Swashbuckler, and even then, Swashbuckler will only really be used in Melee Builds, and will only be advantageous with areas with an add to melee, so even then, Swashbuckler's use is limited VS Kill Clip outside of reloading speed, which most major weapons will Kill Clip, have reload mods and enhanced reload mods with the artifact, so even then, less reason to use Swashbuckler outside of Kill Clip.

    And don't get me started on Breakneck and Redrix's Nerfs, there was little reason to use them in PvE over Recluse before, and if those two were untouched by the changes in 2.6.0.1 they could've become good Kinetic Alternatives to Recluse that aren't Exotic (Looking at you Huckleberry).

    But no, they got nerfed as well.

    Yes, we did need a reign in of power from how we were at the end of Y2, but this is going a bit too far IMO.

    Bungie pretty much equalizing every perk outside of Multi Kill Clip doesn't make people want to use more of them, it just makes them want to use the one with the easiest setup overall for the damage.

    What I would've done is

    • Rampage
      • X1: 15%
      • X2: 30%
      • X3: 45%
    • Kill Clip
      • 35% or 40%
    • Swashbuckler
      • X1: 10%
      • X2: 17%
      • X3: 24%
      • X4: 31%
      • X5: 38%
    • Multi Kill Clip
      • X1: 20%
      • X2: 40%
      • X3: 60%

    Those values would let each perk have it's own niche and power-set according to the setup of the perk.

    Kill Clip is the simplest, as it's 1 Kill+Reload, so it gets a general baseline buff of 35-40% Damage

    Rampage Requires 3 Kills to get to its peak, so it should give more damage than Kill Clip, but not too much so to where it makes it irrelevant.

    Swashbuckler can jump to its peak with just a melee kill, so it should be around the power of Kill Clip at its peak, but the nerfs to its power in the 1-4x stacks in 2.6.0.1 made it so that going right to x5 is the only real way to use the perk in PvE now.

    And Multi Kill Clip requires the most set up as it needs 3 rapid-kills then a reload, so it does deserve the greatest damage buff.

    This sort of thing differentiates the perks and gives a reason for them to exist outside of "Oh it's Kill Clip without the reloading, but I need 3 kills? Wouldn't it just be faster to reload?"

    Raids should drop loot after each encounter always. Just make the second completion per character drop non powerful.

    Honestly with armor 2.0 it's harder to get a good rolled armor and the raid should be the main way of getting good rolled loot. It's just that I always get the same drops and there are only 4 encounters. It's gonna be extremely hard to get what you want and being able to farm encounters would be really nice and rewarding.

    Please stop making parts on armour that can't receive shaders

    Title. Just looked at the new Iron Banner armour and theres a massive Iron Banner symbol on the warlock robes that can't receive shaders, and will always be a gross red brown colour. This is also an issue with the gold on the Solstice armour, the new Eververse set, and a number of armour sets in the past. Bungie, please stop doing this!

    Iron Banner Grenade Launcher Final Blows *FIX*

    Hey everyone,

    As some of you may know, the final quest for the new Iron Banner questline requires Grenade Launcher finals blows. You also may have noticed that final blows with a grenade launcher are not counting. For some reason SMG KILLS count to the progress for some reason. This must have been bugged from the previous SMG kills step from the previous objective. Stick on your Recluses or other SMG's.

    tldr = SMG kills count.

    Strength for more melee attacks makes sense and intellect sort of makes sense for more supers if you squint really hard. Discipline, though? Discipline is not the word I think of when I see a crazed lunatic tossing explosives at anything that moves.

    Edit: Yes, obviously the one two punch combo for titans and the Hunter super in 10 seconds are technically stronger, however, we all know those are going to get nerfed eventually, they weren't intended to perform this way, and are what I like to call "cheese" builds. This build I've presented is super strong, but not game breaking, I highly doubt it will be nerfed. Currently for warlocks, this is the strongest build you can achieve. If you want to go for "cheesy" builds, then yes, there's stronger stuff out there. But if you want something that will last you the whole season, this is the build for you.

I cannot stress this enough Right now especially when the 920 is easier this week and grants more time and points. Please please please this is targeted towards veteran players who have a habit of rushing/speedrunning, I know because I am the guilty of the same thing, this in turn helps new light players get their light level up so please, TAKE YOUR TIME!

    • 6 new guns and 1 armor set for Shaxx
    • 6 new guns and 1 armor set for Zavala
    • 6 new guns and 1 armor set for Drifter
    • All Yr1 guns now with random rolls and Yr1 armor set per Faction
    • 6 new guns and 1 armor set for IB
    • Swap out current Gunsmith guns for all unused Yr1 weapons now with random rolls (Old Fashioned anyone?)
    • 3 pinnacle guns
    • Make all Leviathan guns drop with random rolls
    • Make all NF exclusives drop with random rolls
    • Swap out all of the non-Calus guns in Menagerie for different ones to farm
    • Make all planetary vendors (Failsafe, Asher, etc...) drop random rolled versions of Yr1 weapons

    I don't need another matchmade activity or new crucible modes. No new strikes or Nightfall difficulties or Nightmare Hunts. Please assing more manpower to a vendor refresh.

    Newcomers, don't forget, you can rally the event flag first BEFORE doing a Nightfall with your fireteam. You'll start the strike with full special and heavy ammo.

    You can rally the flag for any public event on any planet before you load up a Nightfall. This would ensure that you have ammo. Tell your teammates about this as well to make NF clearing a lot easier.
