    Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

    We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

    Getting Izanagi’s Burden is practically impossible right now.

    • Unless you have the Rekindle the Flames quest, you currently can't get the Key Mold from Ada-1 to progress the quest.

    • Forges are broken for many people. So when you have to complete a specific forge as part of the quest, and your game keeps crashing, you have to wait 3 days until it comes back on the rotation — in which case it still may not even be fixed yet.

    i.e. Many players couldn't complete the Volundr forge because of this, which was required for the quest. Others weren't getting the last key for the mysterious box after completing Bergusia.

    • Rare bounties, as ridiculous as they are to actually obtain and complete, may also require completing forges which many players cannot do currently.

    All things considered, completing this quest could possibly take weeks of simply waiting for the fixes to be made to actually progress. The quest itself is already a pain without any bugs.

    This is a great example of "show, don't tell," within just the first mission of Shadowkeep, let alone the complete mindfuck that is the final mission.

    If this were Destiny 1 or early D2, it would be simply implied that the Pyramid is on the moon while we watch cutscenes of the supporting characters talking about it.

    My raid clan loves taking dumb lil screenshots whenever we do something tight but our HUD is often in the way or we cant get that perfect angle!! It would make sense for our ghosts to be able to take the photos, maybe if there are no enemy combatants nearby we can enter "photo mode" and fly around as our ghost. That way our ghost has a fun new use, and we can take a 6 man fireteam photo!! Thanks for reading :)

    There should be armor mods that offer 5 points to stats, but at a reduced energy cost to their 10 point counterparts.

    I fiddled around quite a bit with 2.0 armor pieces in the Tribute Hall the other day, and realized just how much nuance there is in each armor piece's stats when it comes to creating builds. 95% of the time you are going to combine armor that leaves a few stats 2-3 points below the next stat tier level.

    The endgame of build creating shouldn't be getting the armor pieces you want and then realizing it gives you 68 in intellect when added together with your other gear, it should be finding the highest stat rolled armor with the right affinity and stats in the right categories.

    My suggestion would be to give 5 point stat mods for a reduced energy price, but with less return relative to the energy price for 10 stat point mods. For example, a 10 point discipine mod costs 3 energy. A 5 point stat mod should cost 2 energy. For intellect, a 5 point stat increase could cost 3 energy compared to 5. You are getting a benefit by saving 1-2 energy, but you are losing out on potentially more stat points for less energy if you are running a less than optimal build.

    I think this would be a good middle ground that could still incentivize finding the perfect armor pieces, while not completely invalidating an imperfect armor build.

    I just came back to Destiny. So, One Eyed Mask vs Foetracer. Why does the One Eyed Mask have tracking, health regeneration, and a shield? While the Foetracer has tracking and a minimal damage buff that rarely helps and only works when opponents are low? Am I just not using the Foetracer right?

    Title. I know one is activated by winning a gun fight, but that's inherent to FPS shooters. Why get such a huge buff for doing what you're supposed to do the in crucible?

    Edit:

    OEM: Tracking (doesn't need a kill), over-shield, health regeneration, and bonus damage

    Foetracer: Tracking (super glitchy) and bonus damage to only LOW targets (usually doesn't change anything)

    Conclusion: The OEM outperforms the Foetracer in everything in addition to having an extra two perks.

    They all look great but for the amount eververse is selling there should be an equal amount that are earnable/ for sale from bright dust, looking at you thorn and bad juju. For as cool as they are I can't personally justify paying the cash for something cosmetic like that.

    Memory of Vell Tarlow for example

    Having to get melee kills on specific enemies in a match made activity is difficult because your teammates are constantly killing the enemies you are trying to melee

    What should take 1 or 2 runs can take 5, 6 or more

    This is not fun, this is frustrating and unnecessary

    This is just 1 example of may times this type of quest or activity frustrates the hell out of the player

    Hey Bungie, could we get a seasonal refresh on Menagerie as a way to grind different weapons and armor sets from Destiny 2's life cycle thus far?

    Being able to grind more than just 3 other weapons in each slot would be nice and it would keep Menagerie relevant.

    Putting faction weapons and armor in there for people who never got to play them (even though weapons are static rolls, it would be a one and done type scenario... armor grind would be nice. But Bungie hasn't made 2.0 versions of them)

    Maybe stick pass Iron Banner armor in there as well (this is honestly really far fetched but still a way to grind it)

    Obviously keep the Opulent armor and weapon sets in there, just change everything else.

    Friendly reminder that Thundercrash with synthoceps does LESS DAMAGE than peregrine12phammerstrike combo. Please buff thundercrash damage to AT LEAST top tree nova bomb.

    Its damage is complete garbage right now. When the solar top tree melee ability does MORE DAMAGE on a sub-60 second cooldown, your super is not in a good place.

    Thundercrash should AT LEAST do top tree nova damage if not more since it leaves you vulnerable to stomps.

    Can we go back to earning exclusive ships, ghost shells, sparrows, and shaders through raids?

    The only thing you can get from raids now is armor and weapons, except for the SotP sparrow. I think that's the only one you can get out of a raid.

    Like 100% of cosmetics are in eververse

    Give us some cosmetics that you actually need to earn and not just buy. That way you can say

    "oh yeah I got it in this activity"

    instead of

    "oh it's a random eververse drop"

    Edit: I know guns and armor have raid shaders on them but you have to dismantle the item to get the shader

    That's why canonically, the Guardians we control: never lost/die doing Raids, nightfall strikes, etc even of they die in the darkness zone.

    Because our Guardians are directly controlled by paracausal beings that lives in another dimensional reality altogether.

    We can wipe away all "realities" in Destiny universe where our Guardian dies.

    Our Guardian only truly "die" when we delete a character or getting the account locked due to bugs or permanent ban.

    Can we please have a fix for the ammo on finishers?

    If you use a finisher on an enemy and it dies before your finisher animation completes, you lose the super energy but you don't get the ammo

    Edit: not sure why I'm being downvoted? It's a legitimate issue with the mods?

    Why did Solstice Armor roll as crappy low total armor? Why isn’t it and year one Solstice an option in Armor ornaments?

    We really need an option to re-roll them or choose the look as an ornament including the glows.

    And no this next solstice better not be the same armor! You're getting mighty lazy and greedy. Before anyone says something to me. I bought the Shadowkeep collectors and plenty of Eververse stuff. It's still too light in the stuff to acquire though the game.

    Shadowkeep is the first DLC to expand on or begin to explain what was happening in Destiny 1’s story campaign.

    It took this long to have it happen, but I find that amazing. We're finally starting to get answers and see the next chapter of that story.

    Edit: I think it's clear that there are more questions now than there are answers. But if what Bungie has said about the new overarching story with seasons is true, then this is just the beginning of that explanation. There is much more to come.

    The Phantasmal Fragments for Phantasmal Cores system on the Lectern would be fantastic to have ported over to Ada-1, especially as the Legendary Frames are no longer a powerful gear source.

    It'd really make the whole forge experience less painful.
