    Osiris stood before a gate into the Infinite Forest.

    Two years ago, news had reached him that one of his oldest friends was dead. Saint had been missing for ages, but the Warlock had always assumed the Titan would turn up someday. He was wrong.

    He realized he was staring through a dormant gate frame and keyed a cubical device that hung at his belt to pry the doorway open.

    He couldn't save Saint from the Vex. But every day he stood vigil in the Infinite Forest to monitor simulations of the future based on their activity.

    Beyond the gate, a shimmering sea of data beckoned him.

    He stepped through, into the white maw of an Infinite Forest debug chamber.

    "Start it up, Sagira," he said.

    "Sure you don't want to take a break today?" she asked, unfolding above him like a crown.

    "The Vex won't."

    She considered it a moment, then the Forest shimmered around them and the white maw dimmed to half-darknes

    Then pitch black.

    The floor fell away, and Osiris's Light held him aloft, sheathed him in a thin veneer of armor.

    Nothing moved. The Warlock frowned, lit a Solar spark and held it up. It illuminated nothing around him. "Did something go wrong with the sequence?"

    "I just triple-checked. No," she replied. "This is it. This is the simulation."

    He keyed his radio.

    "Go ahead, Osiris," Ikora said.

    "What's happening out there?" he replied.

    "Take your pick. We're at war on the Moon again. The Vex attacked."

    "And?"

    "We retaliated. The Undying Mind is dead."

    "How?"

    "A plan. And mutual friends."

    "Our mutual friends just changed all projected futures in the Infinite Forest."

    "You don't sound happy about that."

    "I'll be in touch." He cut the transmission. "Where are we?" he asked Sagira.

    "Where we always are. Simulated Mercury."

    He couldn't even see stars.

    "How far does this void reach?"

    "All the way to the Traveler, for all I know."

    "Take us there."

    Osiris knew the simulation moved around him, but the typical shimmer of the Forest was gone. There was nothing to see.

    "We're here," she confirmed, as he found gravelly purchase under his boots. He had never heard her sound so unsure of herself.

    It was brighter here at the top of a windswept dune, but barely. He couldn't see the sun in the purple twilight that hung above him. The breeze roared in his ears.

    The sphere of the Traveler was gone. In its place, an obsidian monolith at least twice the size dominated the sky. In the Last City's place was a swirling dust storm, tinged purple by the dying light.

    "When does this happen?"

    "The Forest predictions give a window of two or three decades, depending on a multitude of variables. With a not-insignificant chance for acceleration based on specific elements."

    "What elements?"

    "Actions of mutual friends."

    "Kill the simulation. Get me to Mercury."

    Prior to killing Panoptes, the Vex simulated a future without Light or Darkness. With the loss of the Undying Mind, the Vex now simulates a future with the Darkness as the Final Shape. The Light, along with all other entities, have been eliminated.

    The Vex has ultimately lost their chance of being the Final Shape and will no longer pose the same threat to us. Meanwhile, the Darkness is stronger than ever, and we are only making matters worse.

    Nova Warp is one of the worst supers in the game

    I know that when Nova Warp first came out, it was busted. It lasted a long time, you killed players around walls and the armor they received made them nearly unkillable. After some nerfs, it has become one of the worst supers to use.

    PvE

    - Damage output is terrible, it takes multiple charged explosions to kill a major and if you use blink for anything you'll have less energy to spend on that one major

    PvP

    - Originally I thought that this super and class was built with PvP in mind. I mean, when you see how good it was at release I believe most people would agree with me. Now though, the super itself is absolutely god awful. It's incredibly easy to outrun a Nova Warp, the time it takes to charge up a kill explosion gives the other player plenty of time to just runaway. Not only that but the range of the explosion means that you have to right beside them as the explosion goes off meaning you have to use a ton of energy blinking to the player. You also can't beat any other super because it requires two charged explosions and it takes to long to get both of them off in time, you'll die everytime. The only thing that the entire subclass has going for it is handheld supernova.

    Look at some of the Hunter supers and paths and compare them to the Warlocks. Arcstrider has a decent neutral game and a fantastic super that allows the Hunter to dodge around endlessly and no cost to the bar, plus the range of the staff allows them easily catch up to players trying to runaway. Spectral Blades went from one of the worst supers in the game to receiving a buff that made the super nearly impossible to shut down unless you have a shut down super, not only that but its neutral game is also pretty decent.

    I don't want Nova Warp to go back to what it was at release because I agree that it was to strong but now it seems to weak in comparison to the other roaming supers.

    Edit: Well this kinda blew up, glad to see other people feel a similar way about this super especially in PvE. Hopefully Bungie will do something to help this super. Also thank you kind stranger for my first gold!

    Update & Edit: Thanks for the Gold, Kind Stranger!!! WOW! Given the response to this, I'll put together a video on how I did it, what materials I used, etc. Thanks everyone!

    So over the last few weeks, I received my Destiny Seal Pins. They look a bit different from the render in the Bungie Store and their in-game counterparts. It's because there's no black background built into the pin, which makes it look bland. I found this : https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/bab1pr/my_dredgen_medallion_arrived_today/

    I thought that there'd be no way I could replicate something like that, since I didn't have a model airbrush or any real experience painting models, etc.

    I decided to take a chance, AND WOW, they turned out AMAZING. I know the OP from a few months ago only had Dredgen, so I wanted to show my the Seals before and after for Cursebreaker, Blacksmith, and Rivensbane Seals with these modifications.

    So what I did: Much like the OP - I did a "reverse wash" which is basically painting the entire pin with a smooth layer of enamel paint. (I used a small spraycan of matte black model spray paint I found at a Hobby Lobby) Once it dried, I used some very small q-tips (also at Hobby Lobby) with a very small amount of paint thinner, and cleared off the raised parts of the seal.

    It increased the background quite a bit, brought out the details of the actual seal, and was relatively easy! I think they look WAY better, and far more like their in-game/Bungie Store Render counterparts.

    Now, I'm making this post to say ----- I am not a professional model maker. In fact, I'm pretty terrible at Crafts and models, but I was easily able to do this. Just make sure that you do the painting and paint thinner parts in a well-ventilated area and away from pets.

    Quick Note: For anyone looking to do this to Cursebreaker - This was the hardest seal to modify, because of all the negative lowered space near the top of the seal (where the moon phases are) and so it's easy to get an un-even coat. Just take your time, and it'll work out!

    Make sure to give OP the credit for idea, I just wanted to show off my medals that I purchased to show how the modifications worked for me!

    Will be doing my Shadow, Undying, and Enlightened Seals next when I receive them!

    Dismantle all your unneeded legendaries before Tuesday

    I'm pretty sure there is a level in the current season pass that gives you extra legendary shards upon dismantling purple gear/weapons.

    Take advantage of this perk before it goes away and we start a fresh new season pass.

    Having all the annoying vex components disappearing so my postmaster on all 3 characters stops having 99 components flagging me to check only to have me disappointed. Hopefully this time bungie will not include stuff like that or make the inventory larger so they stop going to postmaster.

    If top tree Dawnblade is getting a ranged melee, Bungie needs to ensure that, unlike Ball Lightning, it actually works

    And while they're at it, fix Ball Lightning. So, to those non-Warlock mains who have no idea what I'm talking about, Ball Lightning, the melee ability for middle tree Stormcaller, has always been bugged or extremely inconsistent. I was told that Bungie went and fixed it to properly work with weapon perks that are affected by melee, so maybe they've done some work. As it is, BL still needs to be fixed.

    First off, it does work with, as stated above, weapon perks that trigger off melee kills, such as Grave Robber, Swashbuckler, Markov Chain or Trench Barrel. Zap an enemy while holding Monte or Ikelos, and their perks will activate. It does also work with Karnstein, zapping someone will make your fingers glow and will trigger health regen.

    So what's the problem? It doesn't work with anything else. The biggest offender is that this arc ability doesn't count as an arc ability for Crown of Tempests, so that makes the tree significantly less appealing if you want to use that exotic, or vice versa. (EDIT: Apparently it does, so that's one thing it works with.) After that, there's two things that affect melee damage that don't affect BL, One-Two Punch and Winter's Guile. Neither of these affect BL, which makes no sense at all with Winter's Guile, why does Karnstein work while Winter doesn't? But hey, One-Two Punch doesn't affect other ranged melees, right? So it's only fair...

    And that right there is fake news. I don't know about throwing knife, but on testing throwing hammer, everything else with BL makes even less sense. Not only does TH get full damage buffs from Wormgod Caress (which functions identically to Winter's Guile), but it gets bonus damage from One-Two Punch, too! Honestly, I might be playing middle tree Sunbreaker next week just for that, the damage boosts are that insane, especially with the general buffs to that tree.

    Last but not least, Ball Lightning doesn't count as a melee or ability for bounty or triumph tracking. Which is, y'know, really fucking stupid, and is probably related to why it doesn't work with Crown of Tempests.

    So, in conclusion, exotic armor and weapon perks that affect melee damage do not affect Ball Lightning, while the same effects affect other ranged melee abilities such as Throwing Hammer. I'm not asking for buffs, just to make BL... work.

    Title pretty much says it all. I do have a few ideas though.

    -Fusion Sniper Rifle (Think Mandalorian)

    -Crossbow (3-5 In Mag Maybe More)

    -Gunblade (Think Final Fantasy)

    -Shotty Rifle (Low Ammo/heavy ricochet)

    -Blade Boomerang (similar draw to bows)

    Curious if anyone else has some ideas.

    New Golden Gun Damage Numbers

    Since i haven't seen anyone posting it, i did the math for the new damage numbers with the knock em down perk activated. I've gone to the same public event and tested the current dmg-es without any buffs.

    Bungie, bring all of the y1 strike weapons to y2+ standards. These are good weapons that we could be grinding rolls for.

    Some of the Y1 stroke exclusives are good with bad rolls. We would all benefit from this fix and it would help increase play time. Many of em also look fantastic.

    If you're all about recycling assets i am fine with that. Just recycle some of the weapon assets from y1 guys.

    Icarus Dashes while in Daybreak have increased speed and thrust to recapture the burst glide gameplay for those running the air superiority path.

    Icarus Dash (Rework): Tap (Crouch) twice to dodge in midair. Dodging in Daybreak accelerates players farther and costs less Super energy while under the effects of Heat Rises.

    If we ever DO break the Curse on The Dreaming City, I would love to see it become a actual, evolving world city for The Awoken with stuff to do.

    I might be a Exo rather then an Awoken, but my heart's not made of iron. The surviving Awoken deserve a break after all they suffered and continue to suffer, and restoring their city to it's full glory and making it a proper evolving world with people to meet and things to do would be a nice reward and incentive to break the curse.

    While we are at it let's fix up our own city too to do the same thing, but you know, if I HAD to pick one to go FIRST I'd pick the glowing magic city with the heart of a wish dragon in it somewhere.

    And yes, I know it would most likely be a D3/new console thing if anything. But still.

    I think Gambit is only more fun when you discover your best “Combo”

    I do Gambit almost exclusively on my Titan mainly because I like how well it can shred through enemies with my Reaper set.

    I use Peregrine Greaves with Hammer Strike and Monte Carlo + IKELOS_SG in an endless loop of shoot, punch, shoot. The reaper set gives me ridiculously fast grenade recharge so I'm throwing thermites all over the ground. This is my combo. It's fun, it's powerful, it's effective.

    If I didn't have this combo on my Titan I probably wouldn't have as much fun.

    What's YOUR best Gambit combo? Why does it make Gambit better for you?

    Bungie ya hit gold with the Menagerie, from the selected loot acquisition, to the chaos and fun of romping through PvE with six guardians, if seasons came with a different set of equipment to be earned from the Menagerie, it'd easily be the best PvE mode in the game.

    I just burned 6 phantasmal cores attempting to get a 1-2 Punch One Small Step, and after getting jack for my trouble I just looked at my chalice longingly.

    If the title isn't something that could work, could the perk pool at least be opened up to include things like 1-2 Punch on more kinetics? Counter-attack on more swords?

    Edit: Make it 8 burned cores, no 1-2 Punch in sight. sigh

    Exotic Armor should have the added benefit of being able to change its elemental stats

    Have you ever had an exotic engram drop armor with a 60+ base Stat roll, only for it to be an element that doesn't synergize with your build at all? Feels bad man :l

    Perhaps this has been suggested here before but I suggest that exotic Armor should have the added benefit of being able to change or toggle its elements. I totally understand and somewhat agree with bungie's arguments about this matter but exotic Armor should receive different treatment from legendary armor because:

    1. Exotic Armor is meant to be unique and powerful.
    2. 2. We only have the the ability to equip one exotic Armor piece.
    3. 3. Some of our characters and play styles are built around certain exotics.
    4. 4. Some of the most essential mods have certain elemental requirements.
    5. 5. Exotic Armor drops are RARE.

    There is a certain degree of flexibility with legendary armor in that you can obtain it easily and swap it out for better stats or for the appropriate element without completely changing your build, where as with exotic Armor we're left with no choice. I can understand that bungie wants to encourage us to try out different things and not roll with one build forever but I feel like giving us this flexibility wouldn't hurt too much and might even encourage people to try out and make builds around different exotics.

    Add Value To Menagerie With Seasonal Rotations

    Rotate the loot pool every season. This gives bungie a chance to bring back some weapons that were limited to certain events or seasons. Also since this is the best way to grind certain roll I'm sure people will enjoy this. Also they can rework runes to be viable with armour 2.0 so that you can focus affinity and certain stats. Though even better would be a completely new activity to truly make grinding loot fun.

    The most interesting thing about Shadowkeep/Season of Dawn lore is that it appears to open up a potential avenue for every non Taken race to join us vs The Darkness. 0-0

    Fallen: Mithrax and the House Of Light, Whatever Variks is doing if he decides to aid us.

    Cabal: Calus wants to become the last thing alive, he might (MIGHT being the key word) decide or be convinced the only way to do so now is to fight back, especialy if the Darkness targets him before anyone else and he realizes that he might not get what he wants without doing so.

    Hive: Assuming the Inquisition of the Dammed is not a pack of lies like literaly every other Savathun related thing, it's implied that Savathun seeks a future where they are not beholden to the Sword Logic or where neither light or dark holds sway. Course, she's still a bitch so it would be a allaince of conveneice and one where she will probably stab us after it's over, much like....

    The Vex: The recent lore tab imples The Vex no longer see any future where they win, and only one where The Darkness is victorious. They have allied with us before out of conveinience before in the Vault of Glass vs Skolas. A allaince of convenience untill the Darkness is stopped might be seen as their best logical course of survival.
