    Finishers are fun to do in the moment and can occasionally be useful, but doing them for bounties and quests feels like a gimmicky, forced, chore.

    The Obelisk System is Fantastic, I wish it Could be Extended as a Rework for the Vendors.

    The system of ranking up something to get material farming perks, bonus rewards on bounties, and more direct access to specific weapons sounds like a great change to the Vendors. This would breathe some new life into the core of the game. Will add ideas I see in the comments.

    1) It could reset each season encouraging more use of tokens. Each Season could offer different bounties for weapons like the time lost bounties to help farm specific weapons. Which weapons were the focus of bounties could change each season.

    2) Upgrading planetary vendors could increase the amount of materials gained for doing planetary activities, increase the odds of getting world drops from Patrol Zone Activities, add planetary sets to actvities, and increase the odds of high stat rolls at a very high level.

    3) Give Xur some upgrades to help with farming exotics to get the perfect roll. Additionally, give him something to change elemental affinities on armor so good pieces aren't ruined by having the wrong Affinity. How he would be leveled, I do not know. EDIT: Also give him a consumable that adds a Seasonal Mods Slot of a Specific type to an Exotic Armor Piece

    4) Add purchasable armor to the Tower Vendors since their mod type changes each season. Make them rotate their stats each weekly reset like Rise of Iron Vendors. Make the purchasable at higher levels each season. EDIT: Alternatively do this by means of bounties instead of direct sale to allow for grind.

    Annual "Destiny sound design is fucking sick" post

    Just wanted to say the Destiny sound design is fucking sick, and the folks who work on it are the best in the entire industry IMHO. Even when the game was at its lowest points, I could always count on a glorious wall of noise when playing.

    Thorn's "WHANG", Whishender's "THWIP", or even just the little noise Monte Carlo makes when its perk kicks in. It's always fucking satisfying.

    EDIT: Since this got a little visibility, can I just add that the New Age Black Armory shader looks dope on The Python.

    400 bright dust ain't enough to buy anything seemingly interesting in eververse. Now I'd say giving us enough to be able to buy an exotic ornament, ship or a ghost shell from the bright dust store might be quite nice of a reward. But if that can't happen can we at least get like 1000-1500 at most?

    This maybe kinda nickpicky but I'm not really complaining since I'm pretty ok with my bright dust, but a little extra more to blow off would be a welcome reward.

Why do I have to spend 3-5mins running through the map to get to my teammates instead of just spawning next to them? It's a total waste of my time because I don't get any kills or loot drops while running, and my team still has to fight man down until I get there. I might as well just return to Orbit and enter playlist hoping for a fresh team instead. There has to be a better way for a new player to get to the fireteam other than waiting for a boss pull....

    The season pass ornament for Titan greaves (Virtuous) looks so cool but is ruined by the cloth under layer staying blue no matter what shader is used

    I was so excited to get swords on my knees, but the blue colour clashes with a lot of other shaders.

    I checked the hunter ones but they seem to take shaders fine, so I wonder if this could be fixed for titans? Pls I want to decapitate cabal with my patellas

    Now that Ada-1's weapon frames for the week aren't powerfuls, can we at least be able to farm them out right in the beginning of the week instead of having to do a weekly bounty to get one of the weapons?

    I haven't touched a forge in forever just because I won't get anything out of the first 2 I have to do. Sure, refurbished weapons can drop 2 percent of the time, but if it means I have to do 2 forges just to get one weekly done to be able to farm 1 weapon out of the week unless I want to do the other weekly. It's not worth it.

    Damn. Posted this and went to go play crucible with the name My Love For Lucario Is, followed by the Unbroken title just to piss people off.

    97 voice lines recorded. There is a possibility that I've missed something, but the only one I should technically be missing is a gender based one (Literally a matter of saying "brother" instead of "sister").

    A job well done Bungie. Normally I'm not the type to sit next to a NPC for literal 7 hours to grab all voice lines, but I felt compelled when I heard some of the cool shit he had to say. He is also super lovable and an inspiration. It's been said a lot on this sub, but you didn't disappoint with Saint-14.

    Edit: Heads up. Not that this will matter much, but I'm re-uploading the video with subtitles that actually match what he's saying now. Just don't get too spooked if the old one is unavaiable.

    He has a slot in Eva's oven and Osiris doesn't. Since he was added to Eva's oven and is part of the quest chain for the special Dawning Sparrow that means he will be staying, They wouldn't do that for a seasonal character which is why Osiris doesn't get a cookie.

    Dawnblade’s Celestial Fire Melee Ability should work with the Impact Induction Mod on Gauntlets.

    Attunement of Sky got a new melee ability called Celestial Fire.

    Impact Induction is a Mod that grants you some Grenade Energy on a melee hit.

    Celestial Fire does not work with Impact Induction, just like Ball Lightning...

    The Shader Economy Needs an Upgrade

    Right now my inventory is almost always 60% shaders I'll never use but keep being given, and keeping the ones I like requires me to navigate a pretty badly organized collections tab and buying enough to keep my stuff shaded. We've got a weird hybrid of the D1 and launch D2 shader system and it could really use a refresh as we get more and more shaders coming in. My ideas bring the shader system to what we have with armor and weapon mods, whether they can be reasonably done is another question.

    • Remove quantities from shaders. We're at a point where we can just pay for copies of the ones we've unlocked, so just make it a one and done system and have us pay the cost each time we shade something
    • Turn the shader inventory tab into something similar to the finisher tab so that we can mark our favorite shaders from collections for easy access when shading our gear. Add a button there if possible that automatically takes us to the shader collections tab so that it's easier to access from one page.
    • The collections tab could use a color filter option if possible. I don't want to sort through pages of shaders when I'm just looking for something with red in it.

    The third one I feel would be harder to implement, but it'd make things much more user-friendly. This system could also be applied to ship transmat effects, but I'd say that shaders are accessed FAR more often so I'd be fine if this only applied to them.

    Crucible Labs Idea: A Fiesta-like gamemode of random Exotic Weapons called "Xurvival"

    For those who don't know, Fiesta Slayer is a gamemode in Halo (and I'm sure other FPS games) where you spawn with a random loadout. In this case, it could be a chaotic exotic weapon only mode (maybe everyone has an overshield).

    Think of it like Mayhem but for guns.

    Bungie says they removed grenade and melee bounties from Shaxx's bounty repeatable pool, but they're still there.

    On Tuesday, December 10th, Destiny update 2.7.0 was released with Season of Dawn. In the patch notes, they said: "Removed grenade and melee bounties from the Crucible bounty repeatable pool."

    I'm grinding bounties for my season rank and they're still in the pool. I made sure they are not the daily ones.

    Eververse Engrams Seriously Needs to Have Duplicate Protection

    Level 79 on the pass now, yet the last few engrams I'm getting are dropping a shader and ghost projection. I'm missing 7 exotic ornaments and 6 of the emotes. I have all the ships, shaders, shells and sparrows this season offers, yet I'm getting duplicates rather than actually getting what I'm missing. Will I even get all of the ornaments from the "best of old stuff"? At this rate it's doubtful

    So far this means I've opened 14 EV engrams, getting none of what I needed and don't own.

    Warlock ranged melees are bugged (again/still)

    Aside from the extremely well-documented slower melee speed, Warlock ranged melees are pretty badly bugged. When a Hunter has a throwing knife ready and melees someone in their face, they don't lose the throwing knife charge. Warlocks, however, do lose their melee charge when they hit someone in melee range even if their ranged powered melee had no effect (Celestial Fire and Ball Lightning). They also only proc some melee perks but not others (they proc Karnstein's Armlets, but not Trench Barrel or Winter's Guile). Additionally, Ball Lightning sometimes just deals no damage for no discernible reason, and when you have two melee charges from Ahamkara's Claws, a ranged melee hit consumes both charges.

    Tbh I don't even know why we still bother talking about all the Warlock bugs. There are so, so many, and the biggest one in my opinion (Warlocks having a slower melee speed than Titans and Hunters with no benefit) has been in the game since launch. I wish Bungie would at least just acknowledge that these exist.

    Why must I repeat all five waves in Altar of Sorrows but can repeat Waves 6 and 7 only for EP?

    It's already bad enough waiting for a specific day for each weapon and then having terrible rng when it comes to the curated drop (that blasphemer still eludes me).

    Why would Altar not be formatted exactly like EP and have it so we only have to complete Wave 5 and the final nightmare upon each successful completion? It makes it extremely frustrating when I spend a significant amount of time finding an instance with enough players and then having to complete the entire event only to get a terrible drop and start the process all over again.
