I think the sub is always mad because we know Destiny is on the verge of greatness. We have all seen what the teams at Bungie are capable of (from past and current content) and we just want the game to succeed. While the answers people provide may not be the best, I believe they're from the heart...

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 05:25 PM PST

Im a vet, I don't post on here all too often, but I scroll through every day or two. One reason is to avoid Bungie.net but then again I go there to read the TWABs so that is inevitable sometimes, idk the site so clean looking yet so toxic.

Anyway, while there is probably a hardcore majority on this sub, people of all levels of destiny come out here, I and many others are open to that perspective.

Now yes, I have slowed down on my time with the game compared to other times in the game's life but this is actually unrelated to burnout. I love this game, specifically the gunplay, the lore, and the space magic ofc. I played Borderlands 2 back in the day with my buddy and ever since ive been a fan of this emerging genre that it helped to inspire, and when Bungie announced their game I was ecstatic, then launch happened, but then TTK happend! but then ROI happened, but then AoT happened! Then D2 hap... Ok you get my point where am I going with this.

    - Yes I am not a fan of elemental affinities, but I love grinding for high stat rolls.

    - Yes I am not a fan of the unrewarding-ness of the core gamemodes (Crucible, Vanguard, Gambit), but I still play them everyday.

    - I am not a fan of lackluster storytelling in campaigns past but I loved the Corridors of time.

    - I am not a fan of each season since Black Armory essentially boiling down to the same laundry list of content, but I still interact with the new loot because that is probably the best part.

    - I am not a fan of having to use bounties to grind xp, but I love the way the season pass works.

    - I am not a fan of Eververse but I love getting cosmetics so I can make my guardians look cool.

This game has a wide variety of problems but also a wide variety of draws, and im sure if Bungie sees the game as I and many others too, they'll knock those problems in no time. However, I wont give them the blind loyalty you guys expect me to give them, ive taken every release with a grain of salt, no silver purchased. I do get the season passes because "content", but season of the dawn kind of surprised me after undying.

I just love this game but I hope you all do too...

I get that different people have different opinions

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 06:04 AM PST

But a lot of y'all have jumped on the salt train and are straight rewriting history for the sake of your narrative. People claiming Black Armory was one of the best content drops to date like it wasn't four copy/paste forges that this entire sub loathed for three months. People saying that transitions between seasons (evolving world) is worse now than it's ever been in Destiny, when the amount of X impacts Y story sets have been more in the past five months than any other time in Destiny and have been more impactful. I've even seen people saying SotD was better that Dawn.

I get it, people aren't happy with loot acquisition and Eververse. You have every right to be bored with the game right now and want to see changes. I'm not saying you can't feel X way. But y'all gotta stop making up some alternate history where some DLCs are seen in a better light than they EVER were when they were released. Someone actually had the nerve to say CoO was a great release and got to front page. Straight up ridiculous.

I realize everyone has different opinions, but there's no way the upvotes that are going toward these posts actually would have agreed when the content was released. You're just riding the salt train and hopping on the karma wagon. It's an eye roller every day on this sub.

Veterans are starting to leave the game. Newcomers are loving the game.

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 03:57 AM PST

Was this planned since the game went F2P? Every level up a newcomer gets has an engram with year 1 and 2 content and they sure must feel rewarded. Xur still sells exotics from year 1 and 2. Newcomers must be excited to see him coming every week.

But what about us. The people who paid every season since day 1? Who spent thousands of hours grinding? I know we can't expect to have the same quantity of content as the newcomers but the feeling as a veteran is that i get worse and shorter content as before.

If a season costs 10 dollars and something from eververse costs 15 dollars how bright can the future for us be? I think eververse is getting 90% of the hard work at Bungie.

Edit 1: I don't usually make posts like this on this sub. If you're asking graphics or data for how many people are playing the game I must say I only talk after seeing all my friends and a lot of people on the sub say they don't log in this season. I'm just a random guy who didn't knew people was going to upvote this xD

Edit2: omg 2 Golds and silvers and I don't know whats, thanks! I don't know what to do with it but if I can give one gold to someone I will do it.

    Edit: wtf a platinum

What if players gained enhancement cores, prisms, or maybe even an ascendant shard based on artifact power level after a season ends?

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 02:46 PM PST

At the moment, there's nothing you really gain from the bonus artifact power after a season ends. To a degree, the power bonus is kinda pointless after a point. So, what if you gained a little bit of a "thanks for playing last season, sorry for resetting your artifact with this new one" for your efforts? As an example, imagine if you acquired enhancement cores for every extra power level at the end of a season, with maybe an ascendant shard for every 20? Most people i feel will probably average around the 10-20 range by the end of the season when finished playing, so i don't feel it'd be immensely busted. Thoughts?

Now that the endgame is the RNG armor grind, can we buy an exotic engram from Xur on EACH character, instead of just one?

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 11:22 AM PST

So I can at least get an Aeon Safe/Swift/Soul on each character each week?

Why must Vanguard Shaders look so bad?

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 03:19 PM PST

Granted a few of them work well in very specific situations, most Vanguard Shaders have great textures for cloth and metallics but are very odd amalgamations of blues and oranges that quite frankly don't mesh well.

It's painful for me to say that my favorite Vanguard themed shader comes from Menagerie: Cinderchar. The metallics are worn down and weathered properly, the oranges don't clash with the muted blues, it's amazing.

The Vanguard is the Frontline of Everything in the Destiny universe. When I slap on that shader I should either look like a steadfast warrior in the finest of Last City colors or a battle-scarred pillar in the midst of a frenzy.

EDIT: And what the flip is up with those GREEN ENERGIES?!

    [meta] New drinking game!

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 04:56 PM PST

Hello fellows. It's not quite nine o'clock on a Saturday, but I figured I'd entertain you all with a drinking game for r/DTG.

    1. Drink when you read the term "FOMO".
    2. Drink when someone is "worried about the future of Destiny".
    3. Drink when "broken" is mentioned near "matchmaking".
    4. Drink when a new Telesto problem is revealed.
    5. Drink when there's a complaint about "not enough to do".
    6. Drink when a Warlock mentions melee speed.
    7. Drink when a post reaches 2k upvotes without a Community Manager response.
    8. Drink when crayons are suggested to be a Titan's favourite food.
    9. Drink when someone says that "fun" isn't why they play a video game.
    10. Drink when a post is made complaining about the kinds of posts being made here.

Add your own, and stay hydrated, Guardians!

    Optimized Bounties for 1/11/2020

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 09:29 AM PST

It's Saturday! That means it's time for GDQ on one monitor, Destiny on the other monitor, Jimmy John's on your desk, and your favorite person hanging out on the couch behind you playing Pokemon. Multitasking!

And so, in the spirit of multitasking… bounties! We've got a rare convergence of Precision Kill bounties today – 50 of them will satisfy Eva, Saint, and Zavala. Noooice. Shaxx is apparently stuck in the Dreaming City Curse, because he keeps giving us the same bounties over and over again, and Drifter is… yeah.

Step 1 – Refrain from posting any Cowboy Bebop Youtube videos in your /r/destinythegame posts because somehow that gets them flagged as a Rule 2 violation?

Step 2 – Pick up the following bounties:

    • Saint XIV – All Powerful – Kill 15 Challenging Cabal
    • Saint XIV – Strictly Enforced – Defeat 1 Cabal Champion
    • Saint XIV – A Good Eye – 40 Precision Kills
    • Eva – Cabal in a Days Work – Kill 100 Cabal
    • Eva – Hive Handler – Kill 100 Hive
    • Eva – Joyful Precision – 50 Precision Kills
    • Eva – Super Festive – 50 Super Kills
    • Zavala – One Shot, One Kill – 25 Precision Kills
    • Zavala – Vanguardian – Kill 50 Enemies in Strikes
    • Shaxx – By the Code – Defeat 10 Opponents
    • Shaxx – Lightbearer – Defeat 3 Opponents With Abilities
    • Shaxx – Into the Light – Defeat 1 Opponent With Super
    • Drifter – All Right, All Right, All Right – Complete A Gambit Match
    • Drifter – Elite Executioner – Kill 10 Challenging Enemies in Gambit

Step 3 – Make sure the following Weeklies are in your inventory, because the above Dailies will contribute to them:

    • Eva – Sweet Gifts – Bake 50 Cookies
    • Eva – The Spirit of Giving – Deliver 25 Cookies
    • Zavala – Stop the Ritual – 3 Strikes, 1 Hive Boss
    • Shaxx – Combat Drill – Play 5 Games (fewer if you do well)
    • Shaxx – Step Into the Light – Play 5 Games (fewer if you do well)
    • Obelisk Weekly – Steal the Show - 300 Cabal Kills, 10 Cabal Finishers
    • Obelisk Weekly – Lost to Time – Clear 5 Lost Sectors
    • Obelisk Weekly – No Time to Lose - Kinetic Multikills
    • Banshee – Field Calibration – Kill Stuff in Matchmade Strikes/Crucible/Gambit
    • Drifter – On the Grind – Defeat Enemies, Guardians, Bank Motes
    • Drifter – Might of the Traveler – Cast Supers, Create Orbs

Step 4 – Follow these steps:

    1. Run one Sun Dial (15 mins)
    2. Run one Hive Strike (Scarlet Keep, Broodhold, Strange Terrain, Will of Thousands, Savathun's Song). If you need Zavala's "1 Hive Boss" for his weekly, go with SK or BH – Xol and Savathun's Song count as vehicles, because of course they do. Also, most of these Strikes will get you over 100 kills, but in case you're a few short, just head to Titan and do any Hive Lost Sector. (15 mins)
    3. Play one Crucible match. (10 mins)
    4. Play one Gambit Prime match. (10 mins)
    5. Take your collected Dawning Essence and complete 4 Cookie Delivery bounties. (10 mins)
    6. Play whatever you want for the rest of your Destiny time today! Depending on your blueberries and luck with Supers, you may not be at 50 Precision/Super kills yet, but you can finish these up doing pretty much anything you want.

Total Non-Elemental Non-Weapon-Specific Bounties Completed: 18. You should also now be closing in on completing Crucible, Vanguard, and Gambit Weeklies, so pop those when they finish too!

Total Time Spent: 1 hour, plus or minus loading and Lost Sectoring.

Note 1: Still hanging on to those Ghost Fragments. I'm waiting for an aligning of the stars for something like a Wanted Bounty on Io, with Asher having Vex Kills/Melee Kills/Power Weapon Multikills, so you can clear all of that in a single Lost Sector. Maybe tomorrow!

Note 2: It's Saturday! Weather permitting, I suggest you go for a walk, or a run. Maybe a drive. Get out of the house for a bit, if you are able. For those who aren't able, just try to find some time to step away from the computer. Weekends are great for gaming – just make sure you take some breaks, and stay hydrated!

Note 3: You could switch this up by doing an Ordeal as your Strike to clear the Cabal stuff, then doing the Hive Lost Sector on the Moon. My only concern is an Ordeal is probably going to result in fewer Precision Kills and Super Kills, and Lost Sectors have fewer opportunities for Supers to hit that 50 mark. And there's no non-elemental/non-weapon synergy bounties from Eris, so a trip to the Moon just for one Lost Sector doesn't seem worth it to me. Your mileage may vary.

Bungie, Please give us the ability to remove the tracker on emblems

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 10:06 AM PST

Im the kind of guy who just likes nice looking emblems, i dont want anything else on the emblem apart from light lvl and the initial design but some emblems have trackers, like the crucible ones, the vanguard ones etc and i love the design on them but also dont wanna show whats being tracked, i rock them every now and then eitherway but would rather have options to turn off trackers on them a bit like masterworked items.

All Raids Should Have a "Pinnacle Mode" That Offers Pinnacle Rewards

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 10:45 AM PST

Currently the only raid that offers pinnacle rewards is GoS, and while it makes sense that the newest raid should offer high tier rewards, it also makes previous raids obsolete in the terms of power grinding. To give some variety and bring past raids up to the forefront of the grind, maybe all previous raids should have both a normal mode and a "pinnacle" mode where the power level is equal to the newest raids and drops one pinnacle reward a week (940 as of now) that unlocks after you beat the raid on normal mode once or something.

Pls Bungo, I want to run other raids besides GoS, it's a great raid (one of the best recently), but based on community feedback that I've seen recently, players are looking for more rewarding content to play, and bringing up the power level of past raids would add some variety and relevance to raids, plus the added bonus of it being content already in the game.

Edit: as u/TruNuckles suggested in the comments, a rotation with GoS always providing pinnacle rewards, and one other raid that switches every weekly reset would work very well, bringing life back to older raids while not hurting the balance of the power grind

Uselessly fun fact: You can kill yourself with your own Weighted knife (under some very specific circumstances)

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 11:38 AM PST

Title. Probably the most useless thing I have ever discovered, but still fun to see work properly.

The setup isn't the worst, just takes some consistent knife throwing to get down properly. You want at least 3 people in order to be able to make sure that you spawn where you want to spawn (near where the knife will land) and at the same time make sure you can actually switch teams. Then just throw your knife, switch teams, go to where your knife will land and BLAM! Dead. Easy as that. You will want to have instant respawn active in order for you to be able to get to your knife fast enough. Mayhem isn't necessary, but I used it to get my knife recharging faster.

Originally I tried doing this solo and got some sad results, as you can't hurt yourself with your own knife without switching teams and you can't switch teams if you're alone in a private crucible match (Thanks, Bungie).

    Proof is here.

Special thanks to Caffé for suggesting the idea, and thanks to Dazai and bread from the /r/destinythegame discord server for helping me test this!

Since the Black Armory forges are so advance, why not use them to re-forge the stat rolls of armor?

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 09:01 AM PST

So you grind for many of hours to he that 60+ point armor but the points are not in the spots you want them and it is a solar energy mod only. Well how about we buy a re-forge module for legendary armor or a glass needle for exotic armor and install it as a consumable mod on the armor where the player can choose to re-roll stats or the armor energy type. The armor can not be equipped the the mod on, because you need to have placed in the forge.

Then you complete any forge match with the armor in you inventory with the mod equipped and have the stats point redistributed or energy type changed.

The idea came across to me that people are upset that the either get a 60+ point armor with a bad roll or the wrong energy type. I thought the Black Armory forges my be a interesting way to get stats re-rolled and give the experience that you the player are making the armor you want. This might also be a cool way to reintroduce older 1.0 mod system armor to be come 2.0 armor.

High level comp needs more rewards

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 10:35 AM PST

Seriously there is no insentive to grind for 5500 after earning unbroken. There are only 4 rewards for reaching 5500: mida catalyst, emblem, title and not forgotten. There are also triumphs for wining 50 matches while in legend rank for each season but who cares if they give you 0 points, no rewards and nobody can see that you got them.

My idea is that you should get pinacle high stats gear for first 3 wins in higher brackets. It would give pvp players a way to get good gear each week not only when ib is active. Another thing is that we should get new quest for pinacle not ritual weapon. It would make pvp have it's own raid exotic like loot. Ritual weapons like komodo are not exciting cause there is nothing unique to them. Why should I grind for komodo if some world drop linears are better than it.

To sum this up high level comp should have its own pinacle gear and there should be new uniqe items like weapons or cosmetics to earn.

Edit: thanks for silver anonymous guardian

Please make it so that the nightfall score can’t go any lower after the boss is killed

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 08:36 PM PST

    Title

This is more of a general quality of life change, but it would be great if the nightfall score didn't keep lowering after you kill the boss. This would prevent what happened to me earlier today, where my team was at 100k and killed the boss, but the score kept ticking down. There was a good 15 seconds of dialogue after the boss was killed, and in that time the score was put lower than the 100k mark, and I didn't get the weekly because of it. This would just be a nice change, and how it should have been to begin with.

The TRUTH about Armor 2.0 stats, or, the Magic 4.8%

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 06:59 AM PST

An old saying goes that humans only use about 10% of their brain power. It's completely bullshit, but relates to the Destiny population. We sound like armor stat rolls in the mid-to-high fifties leave us at 10% of our power. That's false. Did you know that just by using world drops Guardians can use about 95.2% of their potential?

Armor 2.0 is a major malaise, for whatever reason, to the general destiny populace. I came to ask, why? Why are we so caught up on a system that offers more freedom, more flexibility, more experimentation, more potential? Maybe we're framing it wrong. Maybe we haven't looked at the numbers.

    An Aside

First thing I want to say is that everything in game design is arbitrary. Restrictions are arbitrary. One definition of arbitrary is "based on a desire or idea or chance rather than reason." The way destiny works and it's design is arbitrary, just like any other video game. Having 6 enemy factions is an arbitrary amount. Having three playable classes, with three sub classes, each with three specializations, is arbitrary. There doesn't have to be a reason why hand cannons are void affinity. It's an arbitrary choice that was made so YOU, THE PLAYER, face tradeoffs. Arguing that fusion rifle reserves should be arc helmet mods instead of solar chest mods has no more basis in "reason" or "universal law" then my saying I wish I could use Hammer of Sol on my hunter.

So, beyond the debate of wrong design or right design, let's see what's going on under the hood.

    Attributes 2.0

In Shadowkeep, Armor 2.0 revamped attributes. Every attribute from Destiny 1 returned: intellect, discipline, strength. Now included on armour were three stats that were intrinsic to class n d1 and on armor in d2. Mobility, resilience, recovery. Each of these stats can be 0-100, with every threshold of ten providing some percentage increase in recharge speed of abilities, or improved shields, movement, shield regen etc. The first 9 points in a pool do nothing, the tenth point activates the bonus. From here I will be assuming perfect skill distributions. This is largely unlikely, but overestimating here still produces pretty meager results down the line. I'll show the math in the next section.

I've seen world drops spec anywhere from 49 points to about 59 points, on a relatively normal distribution. I've seen pinnacle drops go from 60-65, though that's more biased toward 60. Here's the thing. Moving from easily obtainable 55-59 rolls from world drops to even a full set of 65's is still just two or three additional tiers AT BEST. If it's PERFECT.

That means... that it's not that big of a deal. Just take the stat allocations you're given and replace them with the 60+ rolls when you can.

    The Magic 4.8%

Let's say you saved world drops averaging out to... 57. You know, after sharding many world drops, here are the 4 pieces you like. Then you finally get 4 raid pieces with similar distributions but a few more key points. Averaging out to like, 62 probably. Multiplied by 4 pieces since class items don't give stats.

Moving from well-rolled world drops to well-rolled pinnacle drops is 228 points -> 248 points. So hopefully, two extra tiers. When you already have twenty-two tiers. 22 -> 24 is a 9% increase.

When you have rolls you like, maybe you consider masterworking. It's expensive, it'll take a while, but it's doable. You grab your friends, Burdens, and Divinities and grind it out. Masterworking 5 pieces of gear gives 60 additional points.

288 -> 308. 28 tiers to 30. 7% increase. Seven percent! At maximum investment, pinnacle gear is 7 percent better.

HOLD IT! I lied. Assuming you have at least 5 energy on each piece, you are free to add an additional five tiers to your attributes. These are full 10 point gains. They can be somewhat wasted if you move a stat from 92 to 100, but otherwise are a guarenteed additional 50 points. Let's include this in the masterworked calculations.

    (57+12)x4 +12 +50 = 338->358 with average 62 rolls 33 tiers to 35 tiers. 6% better.

Some mods, like the new Season of Dawn one, give TWO tiers of agility. That's kind of OP, though, I do see more of these coming in future seasons. I saw Aztecross talk about a build where every piece only had 2 points of agility, so a masterwork set would give 20 points base, then 4 slots of that mod for a perfect 100. So, let's put THAT in the calculation. Let's assume at least eight points total are going exactly into mobility. So, new totals are 280 and 300. Plus 50 each from normal stat mods. 330 and 350. PLUS 80 from Season of Dawn mods. 410 and 430.

Moving from 410, max investment, good world rolls, to 430, max investment, good raid drops, for two additional tiers is a staggering... 4.8% increase in stat tiers. This is with specialized mods, yes, but I'll eat my words if there's not at least ONE mod similar to the 20 agility mod in the next season.

    4.8%

Hundreds, if not thousands, of comments, threads, replies, and rants, over less than 5% of a difference. In the absolute best case with perfect distributions. What are we even doing here?

    A Promise Fulfilled

Mark Noseworthy said back in the Shadowkeep reveal that '"it's cool to have a game you can invest in with your friends, tweak your monster killing machine and make it 2% better, every weekend, figuring out how to craft that perfect build that is your own. That is cool, there's nothing nerdy about it... we're gonna stand on that corner."

That vision has been delivered. For me, it's a 100 strength, Erianna's vow, Exit Strategy, synthoceps, code of the missle build. Lose a little raw PvE power compared to Skullfort, for a huge increase of PvP power. That fantasy is definitely there. And over the course of season 9, I made it 2 or 3% better and I'm still working on it.

If I'm being honest, this is not a game problem. This is a mindset problem. I'm thinking if I could write a letter to myself when it was December of 2015, just after Taken King, and say that a 10 dollar pass would give me a new mini campaign, a new mode, new vendors in patrol, about 6 new weapons which I can get up to 5 of any particular one guarenteed after 15 minutes to hunt for rolls, one new set of armor per class, a new vanity set of armor to earn... I would be like damn. I'll buy 4. Destiny has always been about earning toys, and then playing the main modes. EVEN IF YOU SAY it's about getting the toys mainly, you still get the toys and have the same game to play. The seasons are about giving you a new mode to get toys so you can go play your modes. That's the whole game! It always has been.

Season of Dawn is a solid deal. The new systems of Shadowkeep allow for some really cool, flexible options, and it's a grind with legs that lets you really hit that upper echelon if you want to put in the time. But keep this in the back of your head. If the rolls aren't dropping 65 every time, 4.8%. That's all you're missing out on. 4.8%. Maybe 5 seconds off of grenade cooldown and 4% less strafe speed. That's all you're lacking. Why waste your energy and let something so little make you so bummed out? Lots of gear is bad so when it IS good, it feels good. Well rolled world drops are still gonna get the job done and perform well.

Let's start looking at the glass as 95% full instead of 4.8% empty. Get back out there, monster killing machines.

tl;dr stat rolls in the sixties make less than a 5% difference compared to high fifties rolls in ideal, minmaxed, masterworked conditions. Don't worry so much. Just go shoot the space aliens and have fun

Destiny destroyed my enjoyment of other games

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 07:29 PM PST

    [discussion]

All other shooters feels "wrong" while destiny feels so awesome to play.

The auto aim, the bullet magnet, the visual and audio FX, everything feels awesome in Destiny.

    • gears 5, feels cumbersome
    • CONTROL, doesn't feels satisfying
    • fortnite, feels really wrong
    • warframe feels clunky as heck
    • not to mention : ANTHEM. bleh.
    • battlefield? I can't shot anyone unless I'm flying a helicopter or a jet

Sure I can use KB/M and it does makes things feels more comfortable but when playing with gamepad, Destiny is simply the apex of everything.

Edit: forgot about warframe, Anthem, battlefield

Bungie, add more micro-missions that feature old D2 Quest, Mission, Crucible, and Raid spaces like the ‘Devil’s Ruin’ micro-mission.

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 05:25 PM PST

    Suggestions/Examples:

    • Make a new 'Tanik's Strike' on the Moon, but for a new Fallen boss that sets up a future Fallen expansion.

      • All of the assets are already there. Just beef up an old Fallen Vandal model for the Boss and get a voice actor to narrate it.
    • Or, add a new story mission in the old Cosmodrome from the Thunderlord Quest.

      • It was a beautiful, snowy, 'Rise of Iron' era Cosmodrome that was only used once.
      • Could be used for anything SIVA, Iron Banner, or Fallen inspired.
    • Imagine a story mission in the Underbelly of the Leviathan where you're forced to find bosses or enemies that spawn in different areas for different players, and you have to find them.

    • Perhaps a mission where we follow Saint-14 exploring sections of the destroyed Last City that we fought in back in the Red War.

    • Or even a mission where we sit down with him in the Courtyard of the old Tower and he just tells us stories of his old adventures.

Even though the Devil's Ruin mission was only for that exotic weapon, most, if not all of the assets needed to create the mission were already in the game. Given the low development effort, I think Bungie could do far more stuff like that to fill in the time between content drops in the Season Pass without sacrificing much development time for new activities and content. Plus, Shaxx singing...need I say more?

Imagine a new micro-mission every Tuesday that continued to drive the story for a Season forward. The majority of the work needed for the implementation is really just voice actor narration. And Bungie doesn't even develop that.

This is what I suggest: Bungie should use old campaign, quest, raid, and mission spaces for additional, new micro-missions that feature more NPC dialogue to drive a Season's story forward. This, on top of any new story missions, like when we saved Saint-14.

I don't know. Shaxx's singing was a huge, positive meme that broke up the monotony of angry posts recently. Without any commentary from Bungie, we have to assume it was stupid-easy to develop. There's just too many cool spaces that're left in the past that Bungie could reuse for new purposes. Tell me what y'all think!

Obelisk bounties and Timelost Weapon frames should be moved to Saint-14 once the season ends.

Masterworking a fusion rifles charge time shouldn't reduce the impact damage.

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 02:59 AM PST

Come on Bungie, why do I masterwork my guns when it weakens them only with the charge time masterwork? We already have not much usage of Fusion rifles in pvp (Sniper and shotgun still dominate). I go for a good one in pvp including masterworking and you gys over there in your Headquarters think it is a good idea to nerf a gun by masterworking it?

Why giving us a charge-time masterwork when it takes stats also away? When I use more stability or reloading masterwork I don't lose Impact damage. Why on charge time? We already have the battery types for that.

Edit: I took a look into the perks on my Fusion rifle. It does only reduce the masterwork Impact damage when using the trait "accelerated coils" (Faster charge up time, decreased Impact damage). I am not sure if this is a bug or intended but if it is intended it has to go. Those two perks are independ from each other and shouldn't be interlaced.

More and more items/weapons/armor are getting added each season while having the same inventory space.

    Posted: 11 Jan 2020 01:25 PM PST

Sick of going to the postmaster every time there's no space to add stuff into my inventory. Vault is full, character weapons/armor are full, postmaster has become a micro vault on all three characters. I have no idea how Bungie is gonna solve this and it'll soon reach a point when it's too late.

Using DIM has become a necessity rather than an option nowadays if you don't want stuff to get auto deleted from the postmaster. Blues need to stop dropping entirely, I'd rather take glimmer and resources over blues.
