    Just spent several hours doing Garden of Salvation with all of the Divinity puzzles. Got to the boss and the fire team leader kicked everyone. There’s no report option for “Is a monster.”

    Opinion: I’d be fine if we got no new Exotic armor pieces until every single underwhelming one got buffed.

    In Destiny 2, we've got 78 total pieces of Class-specific Exotic armor, meaning 26 total per class. I'd say less than half that number are actually useful, and even less than that I'd consider to be great overall.

    What Exotics do you want buffed, and how would you buff them?

    When flying/loading into areas, you should be able to have the option to press a button to read a random lore card.

    I had this thought just because of how extremely long console load times ware.

    I realize with next gen, this feature would probably become obsolete because load times will be much faster (than the existing consoles, obviously).

    Maybe make the game not land you in the area until you exit the card or finish it?

    Also, instead of lore, you could bring up a series or rotating tips. A feature that a lot of people have been asking for since D1 launch, mostly for new light players, since the game doesn't do a very good job of explaining things in general.

    Just a miscellaneous feature, but i think it would be greatly appreciated and widely used :)

    People keep on bringing up that it would extend load times. I said make it an option. It isn't forced upon you. It wouldn't load Till you press the button.

    I need to be informed when a titan has miss used a fist of havoc in the hangar or what fireteam the bad guys dont care what we call ourselves is up to.

    I mean hell--- we could just rebuild the old small tower with our old vaults.

    Maybe even Cayde. Sure he wouldn't have the light, but we could give him a built in flame turret arm!

    Fuck it! We should rebuild Vault of Glass! Raise of hands for the sacrifice to make a new aegis!

    Why stop there! We rebuild the golden age! Give the darkness more to nuke when they come back!

    I watched Gladd do this back in October of 2018, was really impressed, and I have wanted to attempt it myself for more than a year. To my knowledge, no one else has done this particular challenge. If I may: I would like to thank all of the content creators who come up with aspirational/inspirational feats like these; Sjur Eido for being the most bad-ass talking statue ever ("Bow to no one"--love it); and whoever at Bungie made the cowbell emote (it put a smile on my face while my nerves were boiling).

    Trophy Hunter Ornament “Zaroff’s Prized Longbore”

    The name likely refers to General Zaroff, a character from the short story "Most Dangerous Game". He is a Cossack who hunts men on a secluded island and keeps their heads as trophies.

    Thought this was a cool name (if they did this intentionally) and wanted to share this.

    I Wanna See Zavala Titan Slam Off the Tower

    I can picture this cinematic clearly. Maybe right before a new Fallen-based campaign.

    In a last ditch effort, the Fallen have laid siege to the City. The entire perimeter is surrounded by ground forces and air. They're not invading quite yet. Just chipping away.

    The camera shows this by rushing through the forest amidst the Fallen armies and flying up the wall to the top, where we see Zavala shouting orders.

    Things are going well. Zavala says something about how weak this onslaught is. Amanda says, "Uh, sir?" And they look over the wall. Walkers the likes of which they've never seen are approaching. A whole line as far as the eye can see. Four or five times the normal size. Maybe some lasers, drills, or uh, laser drills on the front. They are heavily armored. The Fallen have even removed those super convenient weak points on the legs. These things are taking no damage, have reached the wall, and are tearing into it.

    Zavala shouts, "Take them out! Now!"

    Hawthorne is there sniping. "Yeah, great advice, Commander. We're trying and nothing's getting through!"

    Saint-14 is like, "Fallen cowards! Hiding behind tanks. I will go fight them face to face and crush their bones to dust!"

    As he turns to go, Zavala's hand grabs his shoulder. Saint looks back. Zavala's eyes and hand crackle with arc energy. He smiles. "I know a faster way down."

    Saint-14 smiles back (though we don't see it) and nods, punching his fist into his palm. Sparks fly. "I enjoy the way you think, Commander. This will be most enjoyable."

    Camera pans slightly to show Shaxx has been standing there the whole time. He claps both of their shoulders and puts his hands on his hips. "HAHA! TOGETHER THEN!"

    They all run toward the edge, the camera following them, arc energy building up, music building. They leap. Fall out of sight. Music goes silent. Camera pans over to Guardians and laymen alike looking down, then at each other, then the Titans in the group shrug and jump off too.

    Cut to a camera somewhat far away from the wall. Something to show the massive nature of it. Music is back. The camera moves closer. We see three tiny steaks of blue falling down the wall's side, one just slightly ahead of the other two. As we get closer, additional blue streaks appear at various points down each side of the wall. The camera is now at Zavala's face. His eyes are closed in concentration. More arc energy is building up. He opens his eyes and screams. Big burst of energy and he begins falling even faster.

    Camera moves over to Saint. He is screaming. We hear him say "You are like ants to me! No! I like ants! You are NOTHING to me!"

    Camera moves to Shaxx who is laughing hysterically. "HAHAHA! WONDERFUL!"

    Cut to a shot of a Fallen Captain pointing and gesturing to his crew as if to say "Shoot them, you idiots!" They all fire. They mostly miss. The shots that hit sizzle into nothingness.

    Cut to a shot from Zavala's perspective as he smashes into the Walker. Cut to aerial shot of the explosion and subsequent shockwave. We see Saint hit another tank to the same effect. Then Shaxx. Camera pulls back. We see more and more Titans hit Walkers. Some are Thundercrashing to hit Walkers farther out that had not yet gotten to the wall. We're now high enough to see the same happening around the perimeter of the city. Fade slowly to black and cut to the start of the mission.

    TL;DR We've seen big blue bubble it up. I want to see him slam.

    As a New Light player, I wish I started playing this game few seasons earlier.

    Like many, I joined the Destiny universe during Shadowkeep. After few hours of the initial gameplay, I got hooked. No surprise there. I enjoy games with strong narratives and deep lore. Ace that with some amazing gameplay and I'm ready to be engaged. Over 200 hours now; I have great Exotics (Bad Juju, Outbreak Perfected, Izinagi's Burden, etc.) and I have yet to unlock so much more. The beginning of my journey, everything seemed impressive. I enjoyed the Shadowkeep gameplay, played all campaign quests, and really got into Sundial too. However... When I started grinding Outbreak Perfected (and catalyst), I noticed something. Even if I had no clue what was going on, Zero Hour itself seemed so deep. While I was grinding for Bad Juju, I was super interested in everything Calus had to tell me. I even went ahead and read about his stuff. That eventually got me into Leviathan Raid and the Menagerie. It wasn't until my recent grind for Izinagi's Burden that I realized all of this 'cool' stuff was actually part of seasons which happened before Shadowkeep. The one which really got my attention was Black Armory. Everything about Black Armory is awesome to me. The weapons, quests, forge activity, gear... Heck, even the shaders. The gameplay mechanics from Menagerie and Leviathan... Super cool. Unfortunately, now I realise i haven't really witnessed something that fun/engaging in recent updates. Sundial is great but seems like a re-skin of activities Bungie developed in the past. Maybe it's just a noob thing but that's my honest opinion. In a positive light, Saint 14 has been a phenomenal character. The quest for Devil's Ruin was cute and hilarious. But Bastion... Eh. Anyhow, I wish they keep adding stuff like this.

    What if MWing an armor piece removed its elemental affinity and made it universal? May provide more incentive to MW.

    EDIT: Obviously removing affinities to start would be best but Bungie must think they are good for something since they kept them in this season after everyone complained in the first season of armor 2.0 so I'm just suggesting a middle ground that adds incentive to MW as well.

    Man, it was a journey. While this scenario goes to show just how underdeveloped Guided Games is, it was an absolute blast playing with this guy (TwoGamer, top lad). Having to use google translate to communicate the mechanics to someone made this two hour long raid the most unique I have ever done.

    And the Italian guy was a champ, surprisingly enough, showing more initiative than most LFG players! It was a wonderful experience, but it really goes to show how shoddy Guided Games is.

    Guns like Ace of Spades or 21% Delirium would be much more satisfying to use if their perks wouldn't just disappear when pulling out your ghost.

    From technical standpoint, I understand why it happens, it counts as stowing your weapon thats why Memento Mori and Killing tally reset, but from gameplay perspective it is frustrating and doesn't make any sense. You don't really stow your weapons, we bring out ghosts to look how our tracked Quests and bounties are going, this is especially important in PvP, when you just get rid of that sweet Memento Mori trying to see what the status of our bounties are, you could easily forget it even works like that with this perk.

    TL;DR: Bungie Plz, make it so pulling out our ghosts doesn't act like stowing your weapon, it hurts :(

    The next time you put down a titan bubble on top of a golden-gun shot...

    The next time you walk directly in front of someone's rocket...

    Destiny is a game about working together as a community. Maybe we could use 1 less dance emote and create one that will avoid a lot of resentment and awkwardness between players.

    Spinning off another thread here today - Xol raid (what could've been)

    Let me preface this that I was thinking the below while having breakfast and reading the other thread on this sub. There is a lot of space for improvement.

    Should I make some concept art for this (will take a month)?

    Xol was a great missed opportunity on a raid where we are the ones being raided:

    Raid start:

    Explore the frozen ice lake and set explosives to reach a hollow space (that Ana Bray has scanned) under the ice surface. The same ice plains seen on Ana Bray's cinematic.

    Walkdown:

    Hop down on ice platform as a team to reach down to the hollow chamber. certain platforms break off so the team needs to act as a unit and land/jump together on them.

    1st encounter:

    In this ice cave, we see Xol as he is seen freeing himself from a large block of ice that was holding him frozen before. This encounter mechanic sees us running against time to set a trap, so we need to clear ads and transmat explosives in place in a specific sequence (randomized. the sequence is given by Xol's movement while partially traped in the ice wall, I.E. where he will move once he frees himself). We have periodic attacks by Xol's semi-free body slamming the ice and making chunks fall from above. Avoid these at all costs or get insta-killed.

    Once he breaks free, we detonate explosives, trapping him again with more ice falling (Xol isn't the only one capable of this), but leaving his head exposed. DPS phase ensues. DPS phase ends when we deplete 1/3 of his health.

    Xol escapes the ice but can't reach you, so he moves away looking for another way. As a player, you know he is chasing you down.

    Maze:

    Raid team must navigate an icy maze, where lights comes through the ice from the surface (scattering through the ice) far above and the walls are confusingly reflective. End of maze sees us in a more lit circular room, we access from above. We are near the surface.

    Hidden chest mechanic: Step in certain platforms to make ice crack in a specific order, revealing a room with a chest. Mess up the mechanic and the ice breaks wrong, shutting down the chest entrance. (wipe for reset). Audio indicates failure or success.

    encounter 2:

    Xol is, once again at your heels, he found ice thin enough to break through. Here we fight a Xol that is freer, but still hampered by the ice formations. He circles around the arena (and can be seen through the clear ice). this is a time challenge. As he circles, he breaks down ice pillars that prevent him from reaching your team. As he breaks down the pillars, he can find more space to use his beam attacks on your team more frequently.

    Your task here is as follows: your escape route is only through a thinner layer of ice lowered in the center of the room. You are out of explosives to transmat. Enemies are pouring down from every crevice on the outer edges. The goal here is to pick off the normal enemies while not killing the cursed thrall. you must lure X number (lets say 20 for now) of thrall into the center, hop into one of 3 platforms dangling above the middle and detonate them to weaken the ice. Each time you detonate them, the ice platform you stand on will break down with the explosion. To prevent people from just sitting in the platform and aggregate thrall in the center, once you stand on the platform, a 20 second timer starts counting down, at the end of which, the platform breaks anyway. The catch here is that you must gather these thrall before jumping into the platform. once you do, the thrall try to reach oyu and fall down the middle.

    If you manage to do this quickly enough, you break a hole in the ice and can jump into it before Xol finds a way into the room, else he gets in and wipes you out.

    Once you jump in, Xol breaks in and tries getting into the hole as well. He is large and gets stuck. this is DPS phase. you are shooting upwards at him and there's little space around. DPS while avoiding his attacks. this lowers him to 1/3 health.

    Race:

    Pull out your sparrows, we need to move towards Rasputin before Xol breaks free again. You receive communication from Rasputin that Hive is at his front door, you need to make it there fast. You race against time and a changing landscape. You can still hear Xol trying to break free and his efforts shake the landscape, dropping huge icicles down the track. As you race, the landscape transforms from icy caves to open cold Martian plains. You see Rasputin's complex in the horizon. Xol is still trying to break free and the plains keep cracking, creating obstacles. Make it to the end, Guardian.

    Encounter 3:

    At Rasputin's complex, you find hive trying to break into the front door. Defeat the hive and prevent them from breaking in.

    Here I haven't thought about the mechanic, but some hive miniboss mechanic involving valkyries and a simple activation mechanic.

    Once you defeat the hive here, a small side vent opens.

    Climb:

    Climb through an upwards platforming section to reach the top of Rasputin's base. Its a dark climb, and you need to be careful with solar damage of valkyrie cores being generated as you pass by them. Simple straightforward movement area here. As you reach the top, you are taken by elevator to the last encounter arena. You are on top of the Rasputin complex, you can see the ice lake on the horizon, where Xol was trapped.

    Final Encounter:

    Xol is free. OH LAWD HE COMIN'
    Xol's tremors have misaligned the warsat launch rails. as Xol comes from the icy caves to you, Rasputin gives out a series of numbers. These are in RNG. each number represent a lever that must be pulled in a specific order. These levers will realign the warsat launch rails. This part of the encounter is mostly ad clear between you versus the hive climbing to the top (to teach the lever mechanic). Once the levers are pulled in the right order, Rasputin fires a warsat with low power and it lands on Xol (he is still coming), damaging him. With the warsat landing, you must again realign the rails. Xol is now closer. You hit him once again, he is weakened.

    Failing to do so means he comes up to the top at full strength and wipes you.

    With Xol weak, you fight him 6v1, much like in the strike. This time he is using his beam attacks and floor is lava attack. The lever mechanic is on again, but this time it needs to be done really fast. you can only withstand 3 purple floor lava attacks before damage to the rails is unfixable. you need to do this fast and without error. Once you do it, a warsat lands on Xol and pins his head down. In his last moments, he fires his solar beams frequently, but not as deadly. as he screams in agony, you go for the final DPS phase. kill him.

    Raid clear, or is it?:

    With the substantial damage, Rasputin is going into a self-recovery mode and will shut down in a minute. Take your boots and race down to escape before Rasputin seals himself shut.

    Raid clear!

    It's a raid where you are being raided and chased.

    Why aren't Titans "tanky" in any meaningful way.

    I have changed my opinion slightly based on some comments, I understand Titans aren't "Tanks" they just have a specifically defensive class ability tied to a defensive Stat that is unrelated to Titans being a certain class type like a "tank" for example.

    Class shield is tied to resilience which is a tiny buff to shield making little to no difference in most situations. The class shield itself leaves you vulnerable for 2 seconds while casting it without season mod, with the season mod there is still a vulnerability delay where you have no shield or over-shield at all and you are animation locked. Also once the shield is up enemies can walk right through it taking a massive 6 ticking damage and ignoring it. Also Area attacks still hit me like the shield isn't even there. Right now Titan class ability isn't worth investing into, either the skill itself or the stat that reduces its cool-down.

    Imo Resilience should give 30% at 10 and have a hard taper like 9=18% 8=12% etc. why are all the other classes stats tied go to decent high stats like 43% recovery, imagine if it was 14% at 10. Resilience should be comparable to the other stats in its value.

    I'm not looking for a Exotic to fix the class, that is bad game design. I just want the core class represent its archetype more so than it currently does.

    Do you guys really think this is something funny? Getting in a random party from the app with strangers and tell them to eat a d*** just because?

    Even after that we didn't kick him cause in the Spanish party finder is hard to find people but after 1 wipe (which was caused entirely by him) he left.

    He wanted to do the final boss from SotP. You know that kind of people who does riven cheese 1000 times but never did shuro Chi, kalli or Morgeth. He didn't even knew where to put the orbs on the first phase of scourge!

    Don't be that guy. It's disgusting!
