    Nightfall - The Ordeal: The Arms Dealer

    Modifiers:

    • Nightfall: The Ordeal: Adept
      • Empath: Enhanced radar. Take increased damage from melee.
    • Nightfall: The Ordeal: Hero
      • All previous modifiers
      • Champions: Unstoppable: This mode contains Unstoppable Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Unstoppable mod.
      • Champions: Barrier: This mode contains Barrier Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Anti-Barrier mod.
      • Champions: Cabal: This mode contains both Barrier and Unstoppable Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Anti-Barrier or Unstoppable mod, respectively.
      • Hero Modifiers: Extra Shields
      • Zahn's Stratagem: Solar damage increased and incoming Airborne damage increased.
    • Nightfall: The Ordeal: Legend
      • All previous modifiers
      • Equipment Locked: You will not be able to change your equipment after this activity starts.
      • Match Game: Enemy shields are highly resistant to all unmatched elemental damage.
      • Legend Modifiers: Locked Loadout & Match Game & Extra Shields
    • Nightfall: The Ordeal: Master
      • All previous modifiers
      • Attrition: Regeneration is greatly impaired. Defeating enemies may create wells of Light.
      • Champions: Mob: This mode contains additional Champions.
      • Master Modifiers: Extra Champions & Locked Loadout & Match Game & Extra Shields

    Rewards:

    • Powerful (Tier 1) reward: Get 5 points by completing runs. Higher difficulties grant more points.

    • Pinnacle reward: Get a score of 100k. Since modifiers are fixed, this requires a high difficulty run.

    Legacy Nightfalls:


    FLASHPOINT: TANGLED SHORE

    Complete various activities around the Tangled Shore, including public events, Lost Sectors, and Heroic adventures.


    Weekly Crucible Rotator Playlists:

    • Momentum Control: "You've been capturing zones and destroying your enemies for a long time, haven't you? Let's pick up the pace a bit." —Lord Shaxx - - Fight for Valor by capturing zones and defeating opponents. All weapons are more lethal, abilities replenish only on kills, and tracker is disabled.

    • Lockdown: "Hold your ground. Yield to no one." —Lord Shaxx - - Fight for Valor by capturing and holding zones. Win rounds instantly by capturing all three.


    Vanguard Burn: Void Singe

    Sundial Boss: Niruul, the Hollow Voice

    • Iron: Enemies have more health and are not staggered by damage.
    • Blackout: Enemy melee attacks are significantly more powerful, and radar is disabled.
    • Void Singe: Void damage increases slightly from all sources.

    Dreaming City Cycle: Strong Curse

    • Petra is at Rheasilvia.
    • Weekly Mission: Dark Monastery - Provide recon for Petra's forces by investigating strange enemy activity in Rheasilvia.
    • Ascendant Challenge: Ouroborea, Aphelion's Rest
    • Blind Well: Taken, Plague: Inomina

    The music at 1:30 in the trailer is playing at around 112 bpm. You can hear Tommy's Matchbook shooting at 8 Shots per Beat of the music. Calculating that out, it comes out to basically 900 RPM.

    Will be interesting to see how a new archetype plays out in the meta considering how other archetypes are being buffed this upcoming season.

    I’d love an update from Bungie on the state of Raids

    We were completely spoiled in Year 2 with three fantastic Raids released in quick succession (and yes, Scourge of the Past is a masterpiece, fight me). But obviously Bungie had a lot more studio backing (VV, Activision, etc.), and were working under crunch time.

    I'd love an update regarding what Raid content we can expect from this year's Season Pass, because timeline -wise I expected a Raid drop this Season, based on the timing of last year's Raid drops. I'm definitely not disappointed there's no Raid, as Warmind bunkers and freakin Rasputin robots are more than enough to tingle my PvE boner, but I'd like Bungie to explicitly set my expectations for the rest of the year. Should we even be expecting a Raid before September?

    I really want to see my Character holding Whisper of the Worm, or Thunderlord, or any energy / heavy weapon and not the kinetic one in character preview

    adding a simple button that says "press [this] to display the weapon" would be a nice QoL update...

    kinda tired seeing kinetic weapon as whats the character is holding

    It's still hard for me to believe this actually happening. It began in the Tower. I was sliding around Tess while my fireteam was picking up bounties when I noticed a low level guardian following me around and trying to emote. Naturally I decided to have a dance off and flash some rare emotes when I get a friend request. I accept and then I get a whisper... "Nice moves! New to the game, how does it work?"

    I never could have known when I got that message what I was in store for. We invited her to our fireteam and to our discord and started explaining the ropes. She was fun to talk to so I got in the habit of spending time helping her when I first logged in. We ran strikes, a little gambit, took her through her first raid, and helped her through what she described as a nerve wracking foray into the world of crucible.

    I'm not quite sure when or specifically how, but we started talking about real world stuff and that's when we learned we actually only lived about 10 miles apart. We made the crazy decision to meet for lunch and talk Destiny in real time. It was the best decision of my life as we've been inseparable ever since.

    I asked her to marry me about 7 months ago and we've been planning our Destiny themed wedding ever since. We even invited Nathan Fillion... and the son of a bitch accepted! Wild right? I can't believe it's all happening, can you? Of course not. Because I made all of this up to get your attention, and now that I have it I want to tell all of you handheld supernova wielding warlocks to go fuck yourselves. Seriously. Get lost with that shit.

    Confirmed: multiple trials wins grant pinnacle gear, flawless runs grant additional gear & lighthouse access

    It looks like pinnacle gear (which I assume include trials exclusive weapons) will drop for non-flawless runs. Flawless runs will get more rewards plus access to the lighthouse. This means for my fellow average pvpers you do not need flawless runs to get your hands on trials gear.

    Bungie, armour 2.0 is glorious and nearly perfect. But, we need either percentages or intervals of 5 for points.

    It is possible to have 54, that's right, 54 wasted stat points if all your stats end in 9. This is bad by design.

    The only 2 quick viable fixes I can think of are as follows.

    1) make it so all stats drop in intervals of 5. This is the likely easiest fix.

    This would also compliment the fact we get 2 more points per masterworked piece. 2x5=10. Aesthetically this would likely be the best way I think.

    2) make your number a percentage. (Example: Have 69 intelligence? You have 69% of max made regen speed. Instead of just 60%)

    This would make grinding armour MUCH more worth while, and our time much less wasted.

    I believe either option would result in the loot system for armour being close enough to perfect to be left alone.

    Thoughts, DTG?

    TL;DR: MOAR LOOT, GIMME.

    When I was watching the new season of the worthy trailer, I saw something interesting. When they showed the new exotics a super big machine gun appeared. It seemed new, but looked oddly familiar. When I paused the video, i looked at the gun's ironsight and it was just like the skyburners oath so I figured it would be a cabal themed gun. I remembered that there was a cabal enemy who also used a minimum and when I made a bit of research, the gun models are the same so yeah, Colossus minigun incoming guys

    In light of the announcement of a new season, I want to show you a project that was developed by me a couple of years ago. This is a fantasy on the topic of a Warmind, about guardians who went to his call and abandoned their light. The concept is inspired by ideas of Suprematism.
