    Guardian’s Heart

    Source: https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/48946

As the world responds to the outbreak of COVID-19, many of us have been urged by our local governments to stay home. Containing the spread of the virus is one of the best things we can do to protect our fellow humans. If you are a gamer, you've been training for this moment for your whole life. If you possess the heart of a Guardian, however, you might be wrestling with an urge to do more!

In response to these trying times, Bungie is excited to announce the Guardian's Heart fundraising initiative. In partnership with Direct Relief, and in collaboration with our community, we want to bring the full might of the Bungie community to support the healthcare workers and frontline responders who are confronting this global healthcare crisis.

    Our Partners

According to their own Mission: "Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay."

    Image Linkimgur

We have worked previously with Direct Relief to provide aid to survivors of a devastating earthquake in Nepal. We knew we would want to work with them again someday, so we created an in-game emblem using their colors (more on that below). For this fundraising response initiative, all the money that we raise as Guardians will go directly to them.

    The Beneficiaries

Direct Relief will work with a network of providers across the globe to deliver the supplies that healthcare workers need. This includes basic personal protective equipment, including gloves, masks, gowns, and face shields. The hospitals where they work will also receive food covers, prescription medication, portable oxygen concentrators, ventilators, and other intensive care unit equipment.

    Your Reward

As evidence of your kindness, a donation of $20 or more will earn you the Guardian's Heart Emblem in Destiny 2. Donations will collected using Tiltify. Within one week of your donation, you should receive an email with the code you can redeem on Bungie.net to add the emblem to your collection.

Click here to make your donation to Direct Relief now!

    Image Linkimgur

    Please Note:

    • Each donor will earn one emblem.
    • Donations of more than $20 are welcome, but do not grant more emblems.
    • Additional donations made using the same email will not grant more emblems.

    Player Support Documentation

Players will receive an email within one week after completing their donation that will contain the emblem code and instructions on how to redeem the code on Bungie.net.

    Destiny 2 Item Code Redemption:

    • Please visit http://www.bungie.net/redeem and login to your Bungie.net account, or create a new account.
    • Enter the unique 9-digit code or codes from your email and click the ENTER button.
    • The code(s) you entered will be automatically applied to all linked Destiny 2 accounts.
    • Follow the instructions on the website after the code(s) verification to pick up your emblem in-game.

After redeeming the emblem, players will be able to pull the emblem from their in-game Collections under Flair > Events.

Players who encounter issues donating through Tiltify should contact Tiltify Support. Players who encounter issues claiming the emblem code or receiving the emblem in-game should create a thread in our Help forum.

We may have to stay home, but there is a lot we can do as a community to support the heroes who are still going out into the world every day to care for the sick. Guardians have proven to be a tremendous force for good in the world and your generosity in supporting others in the fight against COVID-19 is inspiring. Thank you.

If glimmer is going to stay on the battle pass then at least move it to the free track. 14k glimmer as a "premium" reward is insulting when I can just get that much from Spider

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 01:53 PM PDT

There are SO MANY open slots on the free track of the battlepass.

If we're going to be putting things like glimmer, legendary shards, and destination materials then those really need to be put onto the free track and more meaningful rewards need to replace them on the premium track.

No matter the problems with Destiny at the moment, at least Bungie didn’t try a battle royale mode.

Stop me if I’m in the minority(or you’ve heard this before) But most of the cosmetics that I use in this game, are the cosmetics I earned through playing it.

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 10:35 AM PDT

The Platinum Starling, the Other Side sparrow, the SOTP sparrow, Zavala's Authority etc etc, Sagira's Shell etc

It's much more meaningful then just buying something from the cash shop. And a good bit of the cosmetics that ARE earn able through gameplay, aren't half bad.

    I hate Taken Captains

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 01:02 PM PDT

I have learnt that even the Darkness has favourites. Does this make me jealous? Yes, tremendously.

The Darkness took one look at all the enemies we fight, and chose a favourite. One enemy to punish us all. But what does it mean when THE DARKNESS chooses you as a favourite? You become an agent of Death. You do not suffer because you are suffering.

And which enemy is the favourite?

The worst of the worst. True evil. The kind of evil that may even make the sexy Darkness Lady do that stupid face TikTok Thots make.

    The Taken Captain

There is no curse in Awoken, Exo, or the tongues of Men for this EVIL

What help are sight and hearing, when all I can see is my hubris, and when all I can hear is the laughter of the Darkness.

They don't stop teleporting, they just don't stay still. OH! They're in front of you! OH! They're behind you! OH! They're in front of you again! You wanna be Tracer? They're already Tracer!!! And that damn Darkness Bolt. It's not enough that it has infinite range, blinds and deafens you, is really quick and GOES THROUGH WALLS, that's not enough at ALL. You want to know the iceing on the cake?! They use it TWICE! One right after the other

And their weapon? Taken Lord of Wolves, need I say more? Oh, and it always has Release the Taken Wolves activated.

And if you're stupid enough to have taken (hehe get it) the slightest bit of damage in their line of sight? They will go berserk. You dare take damage in front of them? You dare suffer in front of them? They will show you true suffering.

If you're playing Gambit, even if you have just 1 mote, they'll know. And they'll come for you first.

Want to know why the Drifter summoned a Taken Captain to deal with that Dredgen after he lost their game of Uno? Because the Taken Captain is the Taken Captain. The poor bastard got pimp slapped. Wouldn't be surprised if he died from that one smack.

And now there are Overload Fallen Captains. I want to cry.

You know what Darkness? You win. You're right. I'll join you. I'll serve the Darkness. I'll give myself wholly to the Darkness. If it gives this old Exo Titan the power to bring peace to every Taken Captain. And also for sexy veiled space mama

May God save us on the day when there are Overload Taken Captains...

Warmind cells are fun. What would make them even more fun is if my reticle wouldn't constantly pull away from them while I'm trying to shoot one.

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 06:14 AM PDT

I've always hated the reticle pull and I'm 100% against it existing. I've died way too many times in PvP and PvE because something ran in front of my reticle and pulled it away from what I'm shooting at.

Warmind cells further demonstrate how ridiculous it is. You create a Warmind cell around enemies and you're trying to shoot it to kill enemies or break a champions barrier but the same reticle keeps pulling to the enemies you're trying to kill with the cell.

I really, really wish Bungie would give us the option to turn the pull off. From what I understand PC doesn't have it. It's very frustrating.

As someone who is Colourblind, This is a change I would like to see.

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 12:17 PM PDT

    Hey,

As a person who has Red/Green colourblind the settings in game currently are really nice but the scoped in reticles dont change with these settings and most on snipers are a faint red/orange. I would like for the option to chose which reticle I use when scoped in so I can make it out easier.

Devils Ruin has a really nice reticle so I shopped it into the Omniscient Eye scope as a proof of concept.

I know there is A LOT going on in D2 now that is much more important but this is a nice QOL change I and I imagine many other Colourblind gamers would like to see.

At this point I'd rather Bungie take a hiatus to fix the game then continue to push out seasonal content

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 03:31 PM PDT

Okay so a lot of aspects about D2 are failing right now

Loot, cosmetics, hackers, quests, servers, the absurd amount of glitches, and many more that I really don't wanna get into

I am telling you this as a fact you will make way more money(like at least 10 times as much) when you come back from a hiatus in which you fix most of the issues with the game then you will consistently drip feeding us content;which people won't even play because of how bad systematically and loot wise this game has become

You wanna know why, BECAUSE A HAPPY COMMUNITY IS A PAYING COMMUNITY

No one wants to spend money on a game where they can't play more than 30 minutes without getting kicked out and where they feel their time was wasted

Take a hiatus, hell make it till the fall expansion, because we aren't blind to the fact that this game is understaffed and you most definitely need the time to fix all the issues in this game

Add onto the fact that we're in a pandemic and you ABSOLUTELY need a hiatus if you ever want this game to succeed again

So overall, I suggest you take a break, fix your game, be more vocal with your community, and you'll probably be swimming in money

    cuz that just good business

    And that's my ted talk

    Td:lr the title

Edit: 10 times as much was a obvious exaggeration

Duke, Halfdan, Imperative, Talons of the Eagle, Eystein, Pribina, Crimil's Dagger, The Scholar, Transfiguration, Wrong Side of Right, Does Not Compute, Thin Line, Pluperfect, Bad News, Loud Lullaby and many more. Not just for PVP but PVE as well. Low effort post I know, just something I was thinking about the other day.

Timed payload (on the seraph revolver) is an 11-15% damage increase.

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 07:20 PM PDT

I did some testing to find out the difference between my timed payload roll and my feeding frenzy roll on the Seventh Seraph Officer's revolver. Mostly I wanted to see if the explosion damage held up with head-shots as I know it used to be a little bit of a downgrade in terms of crit damage before the changes to that. I did some testing in the tribute hall and here are my results.

Minor (goblin) TP Base TP Explosion TP total Regular Difference Percentage up
    Head shot 3372 2544 5916 5322 594 11%
    Body shot 801 1272 2073 1799 274 15%
Major (harpy) TP Base TP Explosion TP total Regular Difference Percentage up
    Head shot 1276 963 2239 2014 255 11%
    Body shot 606 963 1569 1347 222 16%
Boss (ogre) TP Base TP Explosion TP total Regular Difference Percentage up
    Head shot 1185 686 2079 1870 209 11%
    Body shot 563 894 1457 1202 255 21%

Timed Payload is a 11-15% increase in damage compared to regular damage across the board EXCEPT for boss body shots, where its 21%. Since its a primary 180 handcannon, that honestly seems quite good. Is it better than Multikill clip x3? Not by a long shot, but it has other interactions that give it more utility than that. Namely:

    - The damage from the explosion has no damage fall-off.

    - It counts the explosion as the second hit required to trigger overload rounds, thus needing only 2 bullets to overload rather than the regular three.

    - It hits in a (albeit small) AoE which might hit multiple combatants. I've found this quite useful with red-bars.

    - The flinch, ow god the flinch.

    - It just... feels good. Seriously try it.

    - You don't need to kill to activate it. Its just always on. So while in lower level content you could keep up MKC x3 almost always, in higher level content that gets hard, and a guaranteed 10-15% damage boost might be better.

Now there are also some possible negatives:

    - Getting head-shot kills is harder due to lower crit damage (as a % of total damage).

    - The knockback/flinch might push your target out of your usual cursor placing, forcing you to adjust.

    - Sometimes it seems the explosion damage is inconsistent (very rarely, mostly with the Ogre)

All in all this damage increase has solidified this perk as the go-to in that slot on the Seraph revolver. I like it more than Multi-kill clip and am going for a drop mag/Reload masterwork roll with ambitious assassin or fourth times the charm to compensate for not having feeding frenzy/appended mag. I'm curious as to what others think though.

Now that hoodless capes are a thing, capeless hoods would be nice

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 06:39 AM PDT

Personally, i'm not a fan of the hoodless since the top of most, if not all, of hunter helmets don't really look that nice to me since they've been "cleanly shaven" to prevent them clipping through the hoods, which Assassin's Cowl does on some hoods, and God knows that my hunter without a helmet looks... well, the helmet stays on.

But I do want to try the idea from the immortal words of Edna Mode: "No Capes"

If you want a legendary transmat effect and you don't want to rely in bright engrams RNG you can farm them from Holliday for 3k glimmer.

Pull 3 blue transmat effects from collections (3k glimmer) go to Holliday and trade with her and she'll give you a random legendary effect. No dupe protection but pretty cool I guess.

I would much rather have multiple months long content droughts like before rather than the seasonal content we have right now

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 12:09 PM PDT

The state of the game right now is not a good one and it's because the content Bungie puts in isn't fun enough or rewarding enough to be worth playing. Shadowkeep, albeit being small compared to other comet dlcs, was still a good dlc considering bungie was on their own for this one. The seasonal content has been severely underwhelming this far as most people can tell you. With Bungie not having any outside funding from here on out, I think they should go back to the one big dlc in the fall and a large update in the Spring, like how they did with y2 and y3 of Destiny 1. People might say that would be a step back. However before, people were complaining about content droughts because the content in the game was actually good. Now people are complaining because it is of low quality. If I was a game dev I would rather have the former instead of the latter because it reassures me that the content I make is good. This way we have less coming into the game every year and we don't have to have as much content taken out, like how Vex Offense and Sundial were removed after the season. Bungie if you can't make seasonal content close to in quality as the stuff we had in D2Y2, then put those resources toward the next big comet dlc and let the live team tide us over until then. We have a plethora of events such as FoTL, Dawning, Crimson Days, Revelry, Guardian Games, and Solstice. All we need a small content boost in the Spring like April Update style.

I would easily fork over $20 for seasons that had more content.

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 12:05 PM PDT

Donating to a cause is great! That $20 went towards something that in the end, helps people. It makes me feel good I can help accomplish something in the grand scheme of things.

But I would also easily pay just a little more for season passes to have more story content, more gear put in game (and not in Eververse), and "here to stay" activities.

Pit of Heresy, Solo, Flawless, Done!

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 04:38 PM PDT

My last, most satisfying achievement in Destiny? Solo Flawless of The Shattered Throne. Now I can add Pit of Heresy! :)

    Finishing Zulmak & Triumph: https://gameclips.io/Z3nyth/75a636f4-4103-4e54-9a65-e669b0dc461e

An amazing Dungeon overall, but two things annoyed me with PoH.

    - Death by falling, tripping over a pebble: This wasn't a problem at all in The Shattered Throne, but definitely happened on more than one occasion here. I now believe that unless the scenery is intended to kill (spikes rolling log thingy), that falling should in any way, no matter the bumps along the way, should never kill. Leave with a sliver of health? Sure, but not lead to outright death. I wonder if I'm missing an obvious reason why this would be a bad idea.

    - The Ogres' AI in Tunnels of Despair: The more I ran this, the more stupid and RNG-driven the feeling was. I personally felt I was improving. Learning the layout, figuring out an efficient route. And the design was perfect for peeking out one tunnel to lure the ogre away from another tunnel. But this didn't work, it's as if everything an ogre would do was by chance. There was no strategy involved at all, just wait long enough, but then also HOPE that they don't change their mind as you commit to the run. Thank god for my Titan with Stronghold and a sword - I was trapped after dunking the orb... put up a barricade which gave me enough time to switch to a sword & exotic gauntlet which let me infinitely block my way back to a tunnel for safety.

    *******

Ok, rant out of the way, here's how I did it, on my Titan, on console.

Throughout the whole run I was LL1018, with Hive Barrier and Hive Armaments mods equipped. It helped knowing there would be a reliable source of heavy ammo.

    1. Necropolis:

Subclass & Loadout - Top tree Sentinel. Spare Rations (explosive rounds), Epicurean (demolitionist & feeding frenzy), Xenophage.

Slow and steady. Xenophage has no damage drop-off, so I could pick off Ogres from miles away. And the ads are tougher than they look, don't underestimate anything! There's really nothing difficult about this encounter, just have to take care. I used top tree with Doomfangs. basically so I could panic bubble if needed.

    2. Tunnels of Despair:

Subclass & Loadout - Bottom tree Sunbreaker. Steelfeather Repeater (subsistence & swashbuckler), Epicurean, Delirium. AND for longer orb runs, I'd equip Stronghold & sword. The infinite guard is a godsend if an ogre traps you with nowhere to run.

is is all about patience. There are some places where you could in theory lure an ogre away by playing peek-a-boo with the tunnels. It rarely helped. Just have to be really really patient. I did left, mid, then right orbs. Starting with the bottom left chamber, then top left chamber, then top right chamber. Looking at any map will show a smooth route for this. Sunbreaker because the sunspots were really helpful in the small spaces to burn up all the thrall coming through, and health regen on each ability kill.

    3. Chamber of Suffering (The Vorgeth equivalent encounter!):

Subclass & Loadout - I tried a few different setups, but the following was consistently successful and with the least stress (good ad control and minimal health-scares).

    - Middle Tree Striker

    - An Insurmountable Skullfort

    - Armour pieces that allow for the following mods; Hive Barrier, Hive Armaments, Tyrant's Surge, Sheltering Energy.

    - Izanagi, a decent ad clear with demolitionist (I've got a Gnawing Hunger with subsistence and demolitionist, Delirium.

    - Other mods I had were to make sure resilience & recovery were over 6 at least (if the base armour didn't do this), and things like arc, solar, minor, major, concussive resistance.

    _______

The most common, best piece of advice for this section is to keep moving. This build allows you to do that, while constantly clearing ads, get health regen, and an over shield. I tried various sentinel builds, and loadouts with Crimson, the one I describe has been most consistent and stress free.

I cycle the room with death from above. You're a lot less vulnerable in the air, and in every section (left, mid, right) there's always ads that can be OHK. Use delirium quite liberally to clear potential dangerous strays, knowing that your grenade will get kills and replenish heavy ammo when killing hive. *Remember to return to the main plate to reset the counter, whether I went left, mid, or right, I always returned to the plate before slamming another section*.

Izanagi will get the Knight down to one shot, or dead if weakened from before.

Have a check for any ads that need mopping up, then go death from above where the orb is that you want to get. Ads will die, the knight will die if still alive. Health regen, and a cell for an over shield.

Back to mid. Drop the orb. Put up a tall barricade. Pick up and dunk orb. If you can, save a grenade for this bit and throw it far to back mid where all the thrall always run down from.

You should have time to OHK a boomer with a honed Izanagi shot. You might even be able to get both of them before the thrall get to you. Don't worry if you don't. Just jump around with death from above to clear the mess. Don't dive straight into an exploding thrall! I always avoided them completely, but would run to them and jump up to be safely away from the triggered suicide. Take out the second knight when you can (if not already dead).

Rinse, repeat. Don't panic! Reset the plate and go death from above something, reset the plate, and go death from above something else! Or mow a section down with delirium.

    4. The Harrow:

Subclass & Loadout - Top tree Sentinel. Patron of Lost Causes (rapid hit & explosive rounds), Gallant Charge, Xenophage. Lion Rampants.

Weapon choice is deliberately solar. The scout helped pick off anything I could from a distance, and Xenophage was handy for the witches, and quickly picking off other ads if needed. Subclass choice is if a panic bubble was needed!

I would never have an issue with the drop, perfect whenever running with a team. But on a flawless run? Yes, I died on two different occasions just on the drop! Honestly, this encounter gave me the most stress, and I consider myself decent at jumping. TAKE THIS SLOW! It's easy to go just a little too far and suddenly find your under fire from multiple acolytes who barely get flinched if trying to fire back.

    5. Zulmak:

Subclass & Loadout - Top tree Sentinel. Breachlight (demolitionist & vorpal), 4th Horseman with catalyst, Throne-Cleaver. Doomfang's to make sure super was full before switching to Stronghold before dunking the last orb (Doomfang's not essential, super was usual fully anyway). Passive Guard from artefact, Protective Light (when charged with light).

Kill all ads around the central circle, be wary of where the shrieker is and don't linger anywhere near there, even at the bottom of the steps the shirker will melt you. Grenade kills will top up heavy. Unloading 4th Horseman will delete the big knights. Even Breachlight makes surprisingly light work of them. Or a slam of the sword. Take your pick.

For the boss. I dunked the orb and ran the long way round the circle to drop a bubble right next to Zulmak. Unloaded a full round of 4th Horseman, then followed up with sword swipe & power slam combo's. Sword swipes will counter any push-back attack from Zulmak, and you can tank most exploding thrall while in the bubble. But keep cool, there's plenty of opportunity to dip out and back in. Note that when Zulmak drops to his knees, there's plenty of time to unload a full round of 4th Horseman into his head, or get a sword combo in and leg it out of there.

Zulmak can be 2-phased with this process, comfortably 3-phased.

    *******

Chamber of Suffering was the hardest encounter to nail down confidently in all the runs, hence the full description, but the load above was consistently successful, and least stressful. If you're trying Pit of Heresy solo (and flawless)...

    GOOD LUCK! :)

A collection of 980 official Destiny concept arts and 3d renders!

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 12:30 PM PDT

    Hi, hello.

You might remember a similar post a few month ago, and i'm happy to say I'm back with more Destiny art. This time I completed the collection and added Weapons and Characters art, bringing the total number of image to 980! All of them are in the highest quality I could find, and the smallest ones have been upscaled (Waifu 2x, Topaz Gigapixel) so that all of them may be usable as wallpapers.

I put them on Google Drive for you to view and download.

I had previously put some on Behance for viewing, but not all of them are here.

I've found these journeying on the internet, uploaded generously by the many artists at Bungie, High Moon Studio and Blur ( Darren Bacon, Adrian Majkrzak, Dorje Bellbrook, Jesse van Djik, Allan Lee to name a few). They come from all era of Destiny, from the earliest year to the last released, although art from recent stuff are rare.

    Enjoy!

    Things you need.

    1. two weapons of the same type(so a special + heavy shotgun/fusion/sniper),
    2. ammo finder for that specific weapon type(double ammo finders work best)
    3. 1 two punch shotgun
    4. 2nd buff(Sun warrior, defensive strike, roaring flames).

Max out the stacks of burning fists(and potentially roaring flames), and then get your ammor finder to proc(you need to see the buff on screen). Then switch wormgod on and off. You will then have infinite 5x burning fists for the duration of the 2nd buff, so using mid tree sunbreaker is probably the best here.

If you plan to play IB this week, make a habit of checking Quest/Bounty progression early in matches

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 09:10 AM PDT

There is a longstanding bug that for whatever reason just doesn't count progress in random Crucible matches. In my experience it's about 1 in 10 matches the game doesn't acknowledge that I was there. Quests and bounties don't move and you get no rewards (RIP three blues, I know). It's not a big deal most of the time, but it's a real kick in the pants if you're working on old Pinnacle/Ritual weapons or during Iron Banner.

The new habit I'm building is to pick some quest or bounty that will show clear progress early in a match (zones captured, kills with a specific weapon, etc.). I note the status as I'm flying in, and then check it again first time I die. If it hasn't moved when it clearly should have, I immediately go back to orbit and load a new match.

Say whatever you want for me leaving a match early, but I'm not about to suffer because the game is full of bugs and doesn't respect my time. Especially in Iron Banner. It's too soulcrushing to have a great match and rack up a bunch of SMG kills against nothing but Hard Lights and shotguns, only to find afterwards that none of them counted. Screw that. Drop right away and your spot gets backfilled.

P.S. – Bungo Plz fix these stupid bugs!

Edit: I'm not advocating doing this in Comp. Leaving your team down a player is on your conscience and I do not condone it. Only in QP where your spot will be backfilled.

How can any of us possibly find any hope in a "upcoming Fall expansion" when Luke Smith came out of his hole to tell us all that they cant keep adding new stuff to the game without the game imploding?

If we get a new expansion this fall, will it not have to utilize old assets? The director literally said they cant keep adding content without taking content away. So how can we possibly get a new zone new raid etc without the game becoming a structural shit show?

The current state of Raids in Destiny 2, what fundamental issues they face and how to fix them

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 01:04 PM PDT

Some background info about me :

I have put over 3000 hours in Destiny 1+ Destiny 2 and as a hardcore PVE players I have put a lot of that time in doing raids. I'm that type of player who loves going for fast times on raids as well as being down to sherpa some newbies. Although Destiny 2 has a lot of issues I still have a love for this game and thus want the best for it. Saying that, Destiny 2 raids face major issues and in this post I hope to outline these issues and look for possible solutions

The main issue that currently faces all raids besides Garden of Salvation :

Theirs no beating around the bush here ; their are minimal reasons to raid in this game. This is mainly due to the fact that their are an abundance of raids with a lack of loot or furthermore top tier PVE or PVP loot. The other concerning issue is that the Garden of Salvation is currently the only raid that offers " true " endgame rewards i.e pinnacle gear ; while every other raid does not. This is an issue as Garden of Salvation basically outshines all the other raids as it's the one people want to play the most; meanwhile higher quality raids like Last Wish ( my personal opinion ) are given second priority.

Their are however a few outliers in each of the raids where you are given a reason to run them:

    Year one raids:

    1. Leviathan : Obtaining the Legend of Acrius ( a quest that basically only requires two runs of leviathan to fully complete the quest as well as other miscellaneous steps) Obtaining the midnight coup and it stared back ( which also doesn't require replayability as the drop chance is fairly high and their are no random rolls ; meaning once you get it you don't need to again.)
    2. Leviathan Prestige : Legend of acrius catalyst ( high drop rate ; doesn't encourage replayability
    3. Leviathan, Eater of worlds : ah . I guess the experience lmao
    4. Leviathan, Eater of worlds Prestige : Telesto catalyst ( high drop rate ; doesn't encourage replayability
    5. Leviathan, Spire of Stars Warmind Raid Lair : Unless you really really want the emote. Please don't torture yourself by doing this raid ; its not like you'll be able to find a team anyways..
    6. Leviathan, Spire of Stars Warmind Raid Lair , Prestige: Sleeper stimulant catalyst

Anyone notice a pattern in the year one raids? No incentive to run them more then a handful of times... Alot of this is due to the double primary system that existed, no random rolls etc.

    Year two raids:

(This is where things start getting interesting and theirs more reason to replay them )

Bungie also had taken a complete 180 and made away with the no random rolls as well as other QOl changes .

( I had put more info about the actual raids themselves as these are more relevant in our current times)

    1. Last Wish Forsaken Raid : ( Some of my comments and thoughts about this raid) This has got to be Bungie's most ambitious raid and you can see they put all their effort into making it stand out ; from the wish wall and wishes to the unique bosses and getting to see and kill a goddamn Ahamkara! However people put GOS as a priority as it gives pinnacle gear and last wish doesn't. Which is a shame to say the least.
    2. Reasons to rerun Last wish : Taken mods, Nation of beast hand cannon, Supremacy Sniper Rifle, Rivensbane Title and finally the S tier exotic one thousand voices. ( the 1k voices is exclusive to this raid giving players a reason to farm it )
    3. Scourge of the Past Black Armory Raid : Lets not lie to ourselves everyone runs this raid alot as it can give you the S tier exotic Anarchy, always on time sparrow , blacksmith title, fallen mods and trench barrel shotgun but mainly because this is one of the easiest and fastest raids to complete in possibly the history of destiny with a world record of 5:05 Link to the World record if you're curious . Also the anarchy is exclusive to this raid giving players a reason to farm it.
    4. Crown of sorrow : A relatively short but not so great raid in my opinion with a lackluster exlusive exotic, the Tarrabah. However it did drop the Emperor's Courtesy and Gahlran's Right Hand which are decent. Players after the Shadow title also needed a few requirements done in this raid.
    5. Garden of Salvation Shadowkeep Raid : A relative length raid but with a raid specific quest that ultimately leads to a guaranteed drop of arguably the best PVE trace rifle the Divinity . Other decent weapons includes the bow, sacred provenence pulse rifle as well as the hand cannon. Besides those reasons this is the most played raid at the moment as it is the only raid that awards pinnacle drops

How to fix and improve Destiny 2's raid issue:

    1. Completely rework year 1 weapons by adding random rolls on all weapons and if resources permit; make a triumph seal which involves requirements from all year 1 raids called Feared
    2. Reuse the system of Destiny 1 where the "pinnacle raid"( i.e the raid that awards pinnacle gear that work) rotates weekly, so 1 week is Scourge of the past and another is Last wish and so on.....Note : This should exclude year 1 raids unless they can be revisited and reworked as in point 1
    3. Have each encounter give specific loot . I.E In destiny 1 you knew which encounter could drop what loot but in this game it is randomized and the player can't really go out and get what he wants where as its all random. Example: In crotas end you knew by the bridge encounter you could get the shotgun or rocket launcher or class item if I hadn't forgotten. Players need which encounter dropped what and I think this should be reintroduced
    4. Shift the focus AWAY from high level nightfalls awarding god tier loot and shift it back to raids

Thank you for coming this far , I might have made a few mistakes as this was a hectic right up so feel free to correct me or add your own suggestions

I hope Bungie can do some in-game promotion for their "in-house" Destiny 2 companion app so more players will use it.

    Posted: 13 Apr 2020 11:57 AM PDT

(Apparently you can't use the word "official" in the title lol)

The app is well integrated with the game and it makes life so much easier for solo players. I did my thorn and malfeasance strikes in less than an hour using the app to find teammates. Just link the game tag, create a team, wait for people to join, and send invites. You don't even need to add anyone (on ps4 at least)

Many people are active on the app, and some people would join your team just to help

Hopefully Bungie can do some in game promotion so that more people, especially the new players can know about the app and take advantage of using it
