We have made the decision to move the release of Destiny 2: Beyond Light to November 10.

As the first chapter in a new trilogy of expansions, Beyond Light is the beginning of a new era of Destiny 2. We have a powerful story to tell and incredible new features that we're really excited for players to experience. As always, our goal is to make the coolest, most entertaining expansion we can possibly make for our fans. To that end, we are doing what's best for the game and moving the launch date.

The past few months have been a challenge and will continue to be during this pandemic. We've learned to create together in a new way, by having to work apart from one another. Despite these hurdles, we're still committed to the same level of quality that our fans expect.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be unveiling more of what we're working on for Beyond Light and what that also means for Season of Arrivals, which will now extend to November 10. Beyond Light sets the stage for an incredible future in Destiny 2 and, though it's coming later than we originally anticipated, we're excited to continue that journey with you this November.

Hey Bungie, when your fight mechanic requires the player with aggro to draw the miniboss next to the main boss, but they can't get close enough to lower the shield because every boss in Destiny has a stomp knock-back ability, you've got a poorly designed boss fight on your hands.

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 12:51 PM PDT

Even though we have to wait a little longer for Beyond Light, Bungie have been doing a stellar job keeping this game running during the pandemic.

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 11:01 AM PDT

So I say let's toast them Calus style! I don't know how you're doing it or what the setups are, but you folks at Bungie have been doing great!

    EDIT: Except for the beavers.

As a horror fan, I'm excited for Festival of the Lost. We HAVE to be getting a Pyramid Head (Ship) Mask, right?

Silent Hill fans, you know what I'm talking about. With Pyramids being our main focus now and having swords in the game, my cosplay game is going to be on point.

From Sep. 8th - Oct 6th there will be nothing of note for players to do. Please extend Solstice until at least the end of September for people to continue grinding armor while they wait for the release.

Be sure to grind Scourge of the Past for the fallen mods as Beyond Light is most likely to have the fallen as the main endgame enemy.

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 10:30 AM PDT

Barrier mods are almost neccessary for a solo flawless completion of a dungeon, which is likely to have the fallen as the main enemy this expansion. Same goes with armaments. Same goes for the new raid if you are going to try it within the first several days after it dropping.

The mods only drop from the sparrow encounter after getting all the buttons and opening the secret chest. You cannot grind this chest over and over as it is a secret chest, so you have a maximum of 3 tries per character to get mods.

Please raise the max power cap for Point of the Stag to 1310.

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 02:16 PM PDT

This may just be an issue that y'all haven't recognized yet but the Bow was released during SoW so it should have the 1310 power cap.

Yes I understand that the bow was meant to be released during SoTD but it wasn't so it's unfair to put the bows power cap with SoTD weapons.

Edit - It is listed as a known issue according to Bungies website :)

Hey Bungie I'm sure you’re putting a lot of work into the new Stasis subclasses. Before they drop, please consider buffing current mediocre subclass branches so they are not further left behind.

Hear me out, what if Crota's End were to come back as a dungeon instead of a raid.

    Posted: 15 Jul 2020 11:40 PM PDT

It was very easy to do in D1 and I feel making it a dungeon designed for 3 people might make it more interesting.

With content being vaulted, we need Ghost Shells 2.0

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 10:33 AM PDT

We all struggle with choosing the ghost we want to use based on form vs function. Personally, I usually end up choosing the ghost with guiding light even if I'd rather have my favorite disco ball (Skyline Flipside).

Now the issue continues into a point where some ghosts could become absolete - ex. Sagira's Shell which is optimized for farming your heart out on Mercury with all of the scanner mods on it.

Half of my ghosts, and likely half of every players ghosts, will have perks that become completely useless when DCV vaulting begins, leaving people's favorite ghost shells as just that... a shell. A husk, functionally worthless unless a change is made to allow the mods in ghosts to be altered.

The system doesn't have to be nearly as complex as Armor 2.0, but a similar evolution is highly necessary.

P.S., good call on the delay of the release date. Take your time and deliver a great product, and maybe with the longer dev time you guys can throw in Ghost Shells 2.0!

I'm really disappointed that we didn't get a raid or strike or dungeon or even another mission that took us inside the Pyramid Ship on The Moon.

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 07:53 AM PDT

I thought for sure there would be some other activity that brought us in there to close out the year, especially with the focus on them this season.

At this point I hope we get a full patrol zone inside of a Pyramid Ship just like The Dreadnaught that includes missions, adventures, strikes, a dungeon or raid and Crucible maps. I suppose that may not be until Lightfall :(

I think Beyond Light is the perfect chance to beef up strike boss health bars and give them back their exclusive armor.

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 09:02 AM PDT

By now we all have been shredding strike bosses like paper due to the arsenal we have, but also because they flat out have low health pools in general. Throw in a modifier like a singe and heavyweight, and literally nothing stands a chance against what we've got. I feel this issue stems from the fact that nightfalls and normal strikes are separated, where nightfalls are the harder variation of normal strikes, but having a heroic strike playlist back as a balance of the two would be ideal.

As it stands, the basic Wanted enemies last longer than the bosses, and they're just an add on to the strikes that don't actually add all that much. That blend of power fantasy but still somewhat challenging is what I feel that strikes should be again, and topping them off with a sweet exclusive armor piece that'll be able to transmogged soon sounds like the best way to start bolstering the playlist.

I hope Bungie realizes we don't need a full armor set for cool armor

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 11:59 AM PDT

They did this a little bit in forsaken with the cayde class items and baron gear, but back in destiny 1, we had strike exclusive armor pieces and speaker exclusive class items. Those were some of the coolest pieces of armor in the game. I'd love gauntlets from an arc shank even though I don't have a full armor set from the arc shank.

    This Week At Bungie 7/16/2020

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 10:58 AM PDT

    Source: https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/49359

This week at Bungie, we are extending Season of Arrivals.

The launch date for our next expansion, Destiny 2: Beyond Light, has been moved to November 10, 2020. If you missed the full announcement, you can check it out here. We'll wait until you've given it a read…

… Up to speed? While we're sad to keep the secrets of Europa under wraps for a few extra weeks, our dev team is putting in the work to deliver an adventure that is worthy of your bravery. Doing that work from our homes finds us very far away from our usual ideal of working together in a studio – currently still quarantined. So we're taking the time we need to do it right under the most challenging of conditions.

With the extra time between September and November, we have some plans to make the most of the suddenly longer Season.

    Image Linkimgur

    • Moments of Triumph will be extended to November 10, 2020. Cutting it close on some of those tougher Triumphs? Here's a little extra time to finish them off.
    • The show must go on: Festival of the Lost will now take place during Season of Arrivals, beginning on October 6.
    • We're planning a handful of ritual activity modifiers to look forward to:

      • Increased Valor
      • Increased Infamy
      • Increased [REDACTED]
      • A few additional Iron Banner events between September and November.
    • And more…

We know that no amount of extra Infamy or Valor will keep your hunger satiated, but we will have a few more surprises to share on the road to launch. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, the pages that appeared on the day we revealed Beyond Light have been updated with all of the new and relevant information. Bookmark 'em or pass 'em along to your friends. Some in-game UI elements will not reflect the new launch date until a future update.

    Maybe We Are Conquerors

Contrary to what Zavala believes, many among you became Conquerors last Season with the introduction of Grandmaster difficulty Nightfalls. Even though we turned the challenge up to 11, you were able to smash through the ranks of enemy combatants and earn your prize.

While this Season will follow the same flow, completing all available Nightfalls on Grandmaster difficulty to earn the Conqueror title, we made some adjustments to activity rewards to make things feel a bit more fruitful.

As a refresher, here are some patch notes from Destiny 2 Update 2.9.0:

    • Nightfall: The Ordeal

      • Increase Masterwork material drops for Grandmaster Nightfall difficulty.
      • Grandmaster completion at Platinum, Gold, and Silver levels now have higher chances of dropping an Exotic armor item.
      • Grandmaster completion at Platinum level now guarantees one Ascendant Shard (with a small chance at one additional), and four Enhancement Prisms (with a moderate chance at 1-2 additional).
      • Grandmaster completion at Gold level now guarantees two Enhancement Prisms (with a moderate chance at two additional).
      • Grandmaster completion at Silver level now has a small chance at two Enhancement Prisms.

So, if you're on the hunt for that perfectly rolled Exotic armor piece, or if you're trying to fully masterwork as many armor pieces as possible, it's almost time to put your skills to the test. Slay the Darkness, claim your loot.

Grandmaster difficulty becomes available on Tuesday, July 21, at 10 AM PT.

    Farming With Dogs

Last week was pretty crazy. Bungie Day brought an update to Destiny 2, unlocking a new Exotic quest, new Umbral Engrams, and more. Five raids also entered "featured" status, losing their weekly loot lockouts. In other words, players can play the featured raids multiple times a week to grind out high-stat armor and raid Exotics that they may not have earned yet! If you've been taking a swing at the Moments of Triumph objectives this year, you may have also noticed that the Contender's Ghost Shell from Prestige Leviathan has become available through a Triumph.

In the last few days, an issue came to light that the Contender's Shell perks also lost their loot lockouts. Combined with some raid encounters that could be completed in under five minutes, this led to an incredibly quick way to earn Bright Engrams, which further increased Legendary Shard and Glimmer earn rates.

As such, the Seeker of Brilliance perk has been temporarily disabled. Our current goal is to have a hotfix in early August that adds the weekly lockout back to this specific perk. Once we have more information on an expected patch date, we'll let you know via @BungieHelp on Twitter.

As a note, the Seeker of Opulence perk remains active. If you're looking to round out your Exotic collections or earn better rolls on Exotic armor, equip this Ghost Shell before jumping into Leviathan raids!

    Continued Support

    Image Linkimgur

Earlier this week, Destiny 2 Hotfix 2.9.1.1 was released, addressing a collection of issues that impacted controller inputs and general gameplay. The Player Support team has a quick list of high-frequency issues that were resolved, and a collection of other bugs that we're tracking.

    This is their report.

    BEYOND LIGHT RELEASE DATE

As announced previously, the new release date for Beyond Light will be November 10, 2020. With this change, the end dates for Season of the Arrivals and Moments of Triumph have also been moved to November 10, 2020 at the weekly reset. The implementation of related systems, such as the moving of certain activities to the Destiny Content Vault and the effect of Max Power Level through Infusion, have also been pushed back.

    RESOLVED ISSUES

On Tuesday, July 14, we released Hotfix 2.9.1.1. to players. This hotfix included the following resolved issues:

    • Witherhoard's projectiles appeared randomly on screen when using abilities or when stowed away.
    • The reassigned Interact button didn't revive players on custom controller scheme.
    • When Glide Jump cancelling, Warlocks and Titans auto-jumped after landing.
    • Hunters kneeled after dodging when using Hold Crouch, but stood when using Toggle Crouch.
    • The Fencing Salute Emote allowed players to get out of the environment.
    • The Emissary Whisperer Triumph has been removed.
    • Players could get stuck in the Prophecy Dungeon's hallway between the Wasteland and Hexahedron areas.

    CURRENT KNOWN ISSUES

While we continue investigating various known issues, here is a list of the latest issues that were reported to us in our #Help Forum:

    • The Contender's Ghost Shell's "Seeker of Brilliance" perk has been temporarily disabled.
    • Some players can't progress the "Means to an End" quest. While we continue our investigation, players can progress this quest by using an alternate character or joining another player who has already started the mission.
    • Players who didn't claim the reward for completing the "Means to an End" quest in one previous week will be locked out from acquiring and completing it the following week. Players will be able to acquire the quest again the week after the blocked week.
    • Players unable to launch the "Interference" mission may be able to play through and complete it by joining someone else already in the mission.
    • We continue to investigate the BEAVER error code appearing frequently on the Steam platform.

For a full list of emergent issues in Destiny 2, players can review our Known Issues article. Players who observe other issues should report them to our #Help forum.

A few weeks back, I challenged Cozmo to write better headlines for the Movie of the Week section. His answer? "Plays Adapted For Movies."

This was an obvious reference to our favorite musical recently hitting a streaming service, but I still think he could do better. Now that I've gotten that off my chest, let's get to watching some Space Magic Movie Magic.

Movie of the Week: Come on and SLAM.

    Video Link

Honorable Mention: Is this how you UwU?

    Video Link

If you're looking to score a Movie of the Week emblem, make sure to submit your movie to the Creations page on Bungie.net. Throw a link to your Bungie.net profile in the description, and we'll shoot you an emblem for your troubles if you're creation is chosen.

A major announcement like the one we dropped today creates new questions. We know you also want answers to some of the other questions you've been asking since the original reveal of Beyond Light.

Those answers were hard to come by in recent weeks while we refactored our deadlines and development cycles. The good news is that now we have more time to tell you everything you need to know about how this expansion will change Destiny 2. In the weeks and months to come, we'll share all the information you need to plan your game time leading up to November 10.

    Much love,

Contact isn’t a public event for us, It’s a public event for Savathun

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 10:21 PM PDT

I'm gonna start by saying this may be the dumbest thing i've ever thought of (am writing this high) but...

Think about it, from what I understand, contact is the darkness trying to communicate with us and Savathun doesn't want guardians and the darkness to get all buddy-buddy so she sends her minions to interfere. In all the other public events i can think of, it's the vanguard sending us to interfere with one of the big baddies plans. (glimmer extraction, cabal ship, etc.) Another thing, in other public events you don't choose when they start (barring escalation and seasonal public events) you just get a countdown timer. But in contact we put the transponder down.

So I like to think in Savathuns little throne world she gets a ping on her HUD with that public event icon and a message like "the guardians move to commune with the darkness, do not let them interfere with your nefarious plans" or whatever

Anyway just a stupid little thing I thought, feel free to bash me to your heart's content. 👍

Combine Meganeura with Dragonfly and Dragonfly spec into one perk (keep the name as Dragonfly).

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 02:16 PM PDT

    Pretty much title.

It's a shame Oxygen SR3 never got to shine, but considering Dragonfly can't currently compete with damage perks, due to simply being weak and needing the spec to be equipped (does not work well in champion content), it definitely needs a buff. I think that combining the effects of Meganeura with Dragonfly (+spec), would truly make it able to compete against perks like Swashbuckler and Kill Clip, and if it no longer required the Dragonfly spec to be equipped (so that you can use champion mods), that would be great.

Obviously, it would need some tuning to make sure it isn't OP, but I think this would be a great change.

"Tribute of The Nine" - Possible Tribute Hall Replacement

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 10:37 AM PDT

    "The Tribute of The Nine"

The idea: We're maybe gonna need a new Tribute Hall once content vaulting begins assuming it's considered part of "The Leviathan." Perhaps its sticking around? I have no idea. Perhaps it could use a re-work though... (I'm not a game designer, any input appreciated)

    Map: https://imgur.com/ARAGqoA

The Map: A series of islands floating over a swirling void. You know the drill. Don't fall. Slap a sky-box on it, try to keep things mostly color neutral. Visual design, not really my thing, and while I like the current Tribute Hall in terms of it being well designed, I'm not crazy about Calus' "Space Vegas" style and the visual clutter that comes with it. But obviously that's all down to preference. I went with a "The Nine" theme because I figure they'll be around and relevant for a while. It's worth noting here that I am not a game designer. I do not now, nor have I ever worked for Bungie, or any associated companies, unless Bungie bought Doordash without me noticing. I don't know how their code works, and I don't know how their engine works. I don't know their budget, or their development schedule. I'm not a game designer. Bearing all that in mind....awaaaay we go!

1 – Player Spawn (You zone in here) 2 – Ammo! (More on this below) 3 – Accouterments (Right?) 3a – Orb of Light Spawn (Drops from above)

3b – Warmind Cell Spawn (Appears on the plate)

    3c – Vault Access

4 – Platforming Switch (Begins a timer, and start/stops the platforms moving)

4a – Platform End (Ends the timer on contact, stops/starts the platforms on Interact)
    Baddie Island

5 – Weapons (Javelin, Prism, Hive Sword, The new thing, the next new thing, whatever I forgot)

6 – Fallen Boss (Basically a Captain with boss stats) 6a – Fallen Minions (Shanks, Dreg, Vandal, Captain)

7 – Vex Boss (A Hydra with boss stats?) 7a – Vex Minions (Goblin, Harpy, Hobgoblin, Minotaur)

8 – Hive Boss (Nocris maybe? Or a wizard with boss stats?) 8a – Hive Buddies (Thrall, Acolyte, Knight, Ogre)

9 – Scorned Boss (The Fanatic probably) 9a – Scorned Minions (Ravager, Wraith, Lurker, Chieftain, but you've got more options here)

10 – Cabal Boss (Dominus probably, unless the model's getting vaulted?) 10a – Little Cabals (Dogs, Legionnaire's, Phalanx, Centurion, but again...options)

11 – The New Boys! (Dunno who the big bad is) 11a – The new little guys (again, dunno)

(Note: No Taken, because I forgot them, but obviously you could add them in, though I'm pretty sure they share hit-boxes with their respective non-taken units)

    **Guardian....uh...Grotto!**

(Note: You could have some fun with models here, use different "ranks" of armor, use Named NPCs as bosses, etc. More on Stats under "Triumphs")

12 – Titan Guardian "Boss" (10 Resilience, more below)

    12a – Titan Guardian (8 Resilience)

    12b – Titan Guardian (5 Resilience)

    12c – Titan Guardian (1 Resilience)

    13 – Warlock Guardian "Boss" (10 Resilience, 10 Recovery)

    13a – Warlock Guardian (8 Resilience, 8 Recovery)

    13b – Warlock Guardian (5 Resilience, 5 Recovery)

    13c – Warlock Guardian (1 Resilience, 1 Recovery) 14 – Hunter Guardian "Boss" (10 Resilience, 10 Mobility) 14a – Hunter Guardian (8 Resilience, 8 Mobility) 14b – Hunter Guardian (5 Resilience, 5 Mobility) 14c – Hunter Free-kill (1 Resilience, 1 Mobility)

15 – A New Exotic! (and its associated quest stuff, I have some thoughts below, but obviously, Bungie has a bunch of their own exotic plans)

    The Wave Pool!

The Idea here is that every enemy tribute you have toggled ON (excluding the guardians) will spawn here and advance towards you, strafing a bit, juking around, and using whatever abilities they use. Enemies CANNOT deal damage, and ignore one another (more on this under "Triumphs")

16 – Wave Toggle Switch (on/off/hardcore?) 16a – Minor Spawn (Base, and Elite) 16b – Major Spawn (Majors – Orange Bar) 16c – Ultra Spawn (Yellow Bars)

    Triumphs!

Obviously, your Tribute Hall ships with some assembly required. I've never liked the "pay a bunch of planetary materials" system, especially since we're losing access to a bunch of these. (probably?) It also functions as a barrier for new players to the things they arguably need access to the most. The Tribute Hall is/was a great place to figure out what mods do, figure out effective weapon ranges, figure out hitboxes and crit locations. And with some added functionality it can even function as an effective shooting range for target practice, so making it a grind for new people, and just expensive for veterans might not be the best system. Though again, I'm not a game designer, so, grain of salt.

    Nevertheless:

    2 - Ammo! -

Primary brick spawn – 1000 Kills with Primary Ammo - retroactive

Primary Ammo Trickle - (Secret Triumph – 3000 Kills with Primary ammo – not retroactive)

Special brick spawn – 1000 Kills with Special Ammo - retroactive

Special Ammo Trickle - (Secret Triumph – 3000 Kills with Special ammo – not retroactive)

Heavy brick spawn – 1000 Kills with Heavy Ammo - retroactive

Heavy Ammo Trickle - (Secret Triumph – 3000 Kills with Heavy Ammo) – not retroactive)

Notes: I figured veterans would want to start testing stuff early, but should have something left to earn. Also 3000 kills isn't really that crazy, but again, not a game designer so...balance needed? I dunno. Also since the trickle would mess with people's testing of various things, this should be a toggle, maybe make the ammo tribute a three-way (Nice!) switch?

    3 – Accouterments

Your Vault – Connect this to a quest maybe? Or just grant it from the start because DIM exists.

Orbs of Light – Generate 300 Orbs of Light with Abilities of Masterworked weapons

Permanent "Charged with light" in Tribute Hall (Secret Triumph – Spawn 1000 Orbs of Light) Toggle on/off

Warmind Cell – Create 100 Warmind Cells

All Weapons are "Seraph" inside Tribute Hall - (Secret Triumph – Create 500 Warmind Cells. Toggle on/off.

    4 – Platforming

Unlock Platform switch toggle – Die to "Misadventure" 100 times. Not Retroactive. :D

Faster platforms! (Secret Triumph – complete challenge from switch to switch in x seconds)

Even Faster platforms! (Secret Triumph – complete challenge in x/2 seconds)

Notes: A place to practice platforming, or a place to fall and die a lot. Up to you. Platforming over a void though, always fun yeah?

5 – All the Enemy Weapons that drop or spawn. This is your Javelin, your Scorch cannon, and so on. I'd say unlocking them at 100 kills with their respective weapon seems fair? Might be tricky for a few of them though, so perhaps tie it to a number of kills of their respective enemy type? I dunno. Not a game designer.

6 through 11 – The Bad Guys Notes: You know the deal. Though I'd do away with the glowing outline, and replace it with a glowing floor pad to keep line of sight clear. Toggles on and off. Tributes toggled on will spawn randomly during the Wave Pool event.

    Guardians!

Notes: I'm not a game designer. These values might be some combination of too high/too low. I don't know if the toggle abilities thing is possible, but it seems possible? But I'm not a game designer. The Hunter would dodge between two fixed points. I went with Gambler's dodge because it changes the hit box, so it's probably more useful for target practice. Again, Bungie could have fun here, use the Zivala, Ikora, and Cayde as the bosses, give the "c" class starting armor model, and the "a" the raid set models? Just spit-balling.

    12 – The Titan Guardian -

"Boss" – Kill/Assist 1000 Titans in Crucible/Gambit (Toggle able Shield ability, used on cool-down, impacted by Resilience – Secret Triumph - 500 Final Blows against Titans)

    a – Kill/Assist 500 Titans in Crucible/Gambit

    b – Final Blow 100 Titans in Crucible/Gambit

    c - Final Blow 10 Titans in Crucible/Gambit

    13 – The Warlock Guardians -

"Boss" – Kill/Assist 1000 Warlocks in Crucible/Gambit (Toggle Rift ability, used on cool-down, impacted by Recovery – Secret Triumph - 500 Final Blows against Warlocks)

    a – Kill/Assist 500 Warlocks in Crucible/Gambit

    b – Final Blow 100 Warlocks in Crucible/Gambit

    c - Final Blow 10 Warlocks in Crucible/Gambit

    14 – The Hunter Guardians -

"Boss" – Kill/Assist 1000 Hunters in Crucible/Gambit (Toggle Gambler's Dodge ability, used on cool-down, impacted by Mobility – Secret Triumph - 500 Final Blows against Hunters)

    a – Kill/Assist 500 Hunters in Crucible/Gambit

    b – Final Blow 100 Hunters in Crucible/Gambit

    c - Final Blow 10 Hunters in Crucible/Gambit

15 – The Exotic! Maybe something Tribute Hall specific like "Bad Juju," maybe stick a seasonal exotic in here? Whats coming up? I have no idea. I don't work for Bungie, and I'm not a game designer! But if you ask me the game sure could use....

**Exotic Sub-machine Gun - "Engagement Theory"** The requisite pun name: "Engagement Theory" - (Referencing the "Engaged Theory" originally outlined in the journal *Applied Research in the Quality of Life.* It'll make sense, I promise. Though, I'm no game designer!) Perks -

Lightweight – 20 Mobility baby! Great for just tooling around doing whatever.

"Jealous Lover" - Automatically Dismantles Non-Quest Rare Weapons picked up by player after equipping the item and only when equipped. (I dunno if this is possible, but it'd be nice yeah? A real "Quality of Life" change one could say...)

"Sweet!" - Increases all stats by +1 while equipped or stowed (so you'd go from say 79 Resilience to 80, but not from 70 to 80)

    Weapon Stats: Hidden Stats:

    Impact - 24 Aim Assist - 48 Range - 50 Inventory - 50 Stability - 45 Zoom - 12 Handling - 80 Recoil - 75 Reload - 25 Bounce Intensity- 80 RPM - 750 Bounce Direction - Left Magazine - 30

Notes: A game designer, I'm not one. I don't know if either of those perks is possible. I think the stats are reasonable, but hey, not a game designer. I wanted to keep it useful, and keep it away from being an optimal DPS exotic. Its really designed to just run around with it. Gotta do the new public event? Grab your Engagement Theory! Heading out to do the flashpoint zone? Engagement Theory has your back! The goal here though is to keep it under the great stuff, but useful for the easy stuff, and super comfortable to use (Hence the weight into Stability and handling). OP? Under-P? Maybe! I'm not a game designer.

    16 – The Wave Pool

Notes: The map I banged out is built around floating islands, so this could really be anywhere height-wise. I kind of like the idea of dropping down into it though. Basically, any Tributes you have toggled on will spawn randomly (though if you only have one up, its not gonna be that random yeah?) every few seconds, possibly weighted by enemy difficulty or health. Kills here **DO NOT** Count towards quests, catalyst progress, or any triumphs except the ones below.

Kill 100 enemies (anywhere) without dying – Unlock the "Wave Pool"

(Secret Triumph – Kill 1000 enemies in the wave pool – Unlock enemy damage toggle

(Secret Triumph – Kill 1000 enemies in the wave pool with damage toggled on - ?? Maybe part of a quest chain? Maybe an element of the exotic? Maybe just a feat and an emblem? I'm not a game designer.

And that's all folks! Unless I forgot something, or misjudged something, or what-have-you. Any thoughts, comments, whatever, appreciated. Have your own ideas? Think my map sucks and you have a much cooler one? Lets see it! This took way longer than I thought it would, but was actually pretty fun, and exactly what I needed in terms of "mildly creative, completely useless." Plus I got to re-figure out Sketch pad, and bust out my old Wacom, so all in all, a good use of a few hours. Highly recommended! Plus drawing maps made me feel like an eight year old, which was fun. Maybe some of this stuff is possible, maybe some of it isn't. I have no idea what Bungie can and cannot do.

    I'm not a game designer.

Thanks for getting this far, or scrolling down on your way to be all "this sucks, and I hate you, and this sucks!" If that's you, I would encourage you to remember, say it with me,

    I'm not a game designer.

If the moon destination weapons and forges are staying, they should be updated to a higher power cap to prevent having to grind them out in the same way again

They're unique weapons with some real gems like love and death and tranquility as well as the altars of sorrow weapons that have really creative designs only to become useless within the year.

Change Tommy's Matchbook Catalyst to the perk Unrelenting

I think Changing the catalyst perk to unrelenting would make me use it more, since you restore health with certain amount of kills.
