    It kind of stinks to have a new exotic gun be in the collections and see it before you ever had the opportunity to find it in the wild. For instance, despite datamining, we can see that Traveler's Chosen is a new exotic from the ornament screen. We also have seen ornaments in Eververse front and center the day they're available before even loading into the tower. Season of Arrivals did so much great by keeping things mysterious. If we're traveling to a new world this fall, don't show us all the secrets right away.

    I’m generally on board with Sunsetting, but weapon reissues need to be handled differently.

    I, like many of you, play a lot of Destiny. Unlike many of you, however, I am ok with sunsetting on the whole. I don't think it's a perfect solution but I think it'll be fine.

    However there's one issue I'm really not jazzed about, and that is the topic of weapon re-issues. There are, as far as I can tell, 3 main ways bungie has done re-issues in the past.

    The first is where an older gun in brought back with new perks available in old slots. Usually this is done with older year 1 weapons that didn't have random rolls. I think this system is good, giving weapons a second life (truthteller, ikelos_smg, etc.)

    In the second method, already existing weapons just have their infusion cap artificially bumped up to that of the newest season. This takes weapons people already have (Last Wish and GoS raid weapons), and brings them up. I think this is fine and could be a way for bungie to bring older guns back into meta in an easy way.

    The third method... sucks... really hard. This is the sunsetting nightmare that has reared its ugly head this season. Here, weapons that already exist (Gnawing Hunger, Bite of the Fox) are reissued with the exact same perk pool, and a newer infusion cap, while older, currently existing versions of those weapons, are left in the dust. This is regrinding for the same exact weapons.

    I already have a rapid-hit, multi-kill clip Nightwatch, and you know what, I have a new one with the EXACT SAME ROLL. So whY, OH GOD WHY, can't I just use my old one.

    The reissuing of old guns is not the problem here. I think there should be times when older weapons are brought back in a way that people who never tried them originally can give them a spin. But doing it this way sucks, and the solution is quite simple. If your going to reissue a gun, and NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT IT, then you should bring older versions of those guns up to the newer version's infusion cap. You're clearly ok with my older roll, cuz the new rolls are exactly the same, so just let me infuse it the same as you'd let me infuse the newer version.

    P.S. Please reissue Pleiades Corrector with random rolls. That gun feels soooooo nice.

    I didnt even know that prior to this, raids are pretty much only a once a week thing/character. Ive had so much fun just farming raids. Playing through, getting better, getting some nice and unique looking loot.

    It doesn't even need to be powerful or pinnacle loot, simply obtaining different loot that isn't in the general world loot pool is nice.

    I hope that they see how positive of a response (from what I've seen and experienced) this has had and decide to go with that and make some changes to how raids work. Maybe not unlimited farming but more than once a week

    My Ghost Eyrrodontis "Spark"

    Greetings Destiny Reddit Community!
    This is my first post so allow me to introduce myself.
    My name is Kyo, and I'm a junior concept artist and illustrator who has been chasing the Bungie hype wagon since I was 9 (chasing my dreams to work for them!) After (too long) I'm finally coming out from the my hiding spot in the Reef to share my work with other Guardians! I've been really nervous to share my work but I'm taking the leap.
    I've been a fan of this franchise since 2016, and its inspired me to create not only art, but write lore for my Hunter as well and his journey. I eventually want to compile all of it into an illustrated 'chronicle'. I'm looking forward to sharing more works in the near future!

    That said...

    I explored what my Guardian's Ghost would actually look like. Started as a warm up and I liked it so much, I brought it to a full finish.
    His name is Eyrrodontis. My Guardian refers to him as Spark. His name roughly translates to Wrong Tooth.
    I wanted an Awoken/Reef inspired design that was different from what's in the game. As far as its similarity to Lunala, that was purely accidental, and I didn't realize it till after I was coloring him. The discs are meant to rotate, imagine if Saturn was a Ghost and could flex and rotate its rings. That was my vision for Spark.

    2 buds and I completed all 7 D2 raids today.

    Quality of life/ Emote Idea. An emote that puts away your weapons but leaves you in first person for cinematic shots .

    Why is the Iron Banner loot pool over saturated?

    I'm super disappointed that we can only get Iron Banner gear in Iron Banner (rightfully so) yet the loot pool is so over saturated that actual IB drops are far and few between. I know you can turn in tokens, but you only get 5 tokens per win. 4 wins is one drop, meanwhile I'm getting Gambit Prime and random world drops from a "Pinnacle" PvP mode...

    Bungie, please give Lord Saladin repeatable bounties.

    Clarification edit: It doesn't need to be bounties, just give us a way to better combat the rng of special events. Consumables that grant a chunk of tokens at the end of matches or have the ability to choose "Armor" or "Weapon" are both options that we've seen Bungie do in the past. Either of these options would help players during limited timed events chase what they desire.

    For a game mode that comes out once every 3-4 weeks, why for the love of everything holy does he only come with 4 bounties a week? 12 if you do every character. Sure that's 600 tokens, or 30 rank up packages... Which sounds like you have potential to get some good rng, but if you're like me, you've already turned in enough tokens for 125 packages and still have only acquired 4 Bite of the Foxes. A statistical anomaly for sure, but that's unfiltered rng for you.

    Once you do all of the bounties, tokens are a rough thing to get for a solo player. To get even 3 packages, you need 60 tokens. Do you know how many wins in a row that takes to get 60? It takes 12. Again, that's if you win those games, which is still nearly a 2.5 hour investment. Now throw into account being an average player, you aren't winning every game. I don't want to sit here and reset my Valor more times than getting a chance at a sniper.

    At least make end of match rewards give you Iron Banner gear. I am sick of seeing Outrageous Fortunes and Lonesomes drop.

    Why would we not use Mountaintop?

    Snipers were nerfed, shotguns were nerfed, fusion rifles were nerfed. Mountaintop remains easy, lethal and consistent with abundant ammo in PvP.

    Meanwhile in PvE, all previous nerfs apply. On top of that, Izzy got a double whammy of nerfs and bosses still stomp us into oblivion. To make matters worse, no specials can take champion mods, which would help them reclaim utility in Endgame activities with champions. We also have a grand total of zero kinetic exotics with any champion utility. So unless I will be a part of the Divinity/Izzy pair, or doing a stupid challenge, why would I ever not have Mountaintop equipped?

    Bungie's obsession with a weaker more balanced sandbox (which affects PvP and Pve) with meme exotics and extremely limited options to counter Champions is directly responsible for Mountaintop's popularity.

    Please guys, I still don't understand why we get 3 blues every crucible match but at least let us mark gear so we can delete everything in 1 dismantle button.

    Urgent PSÀ: If you start now, you can earn enough bright dust to afford all 3 Solstice Eververse sets by the end of the event.

    You don't have to spend a dime this year for the solstice sets from Eververse if you're willing to work for it.

    You will need 3 characters unfortunately but, you can earn 3600 bright dust every week by doing the weekly bounties from Zavala, Shaxx, and the Drifter on all 3 characters (200 Bright Dust per weekly bounty) and each Eververse set will cost 6000 bright dust and 18,000 for all 3 sets.

    3,600*5 weeks=18,000 bright dust

    18,000/6,000= 3 sets

    (Despite me saying you need all 3 characters, that only applies if you want all 3 sets, if you only play one or two characters you can still do this and earn enough for those 1 or 2 sets)

    Edit: As pointed out, Eva will probably have bright dust bounties which could make things easier but this is still nice to know for people who previously didn't know you could farm bright dust like this such as New light players, I actually just found out today myself.

    Edit 2: Alot of people seem to not know that this year's Eververse set will come in the form of Universal Ornaments that includes the glow (glow changes automatically based on subclass and will also include the Stasis subclasses when they come out) Universal Ornaments can be applied on any legendary armor you please and Bungie has stated they are not making any changes to how armor works anytime soon, meaning that these Universal Ornaments will be viable forever and won't be useless when the new dlc launches.

    Contoverse hold needs an ornament

    Its one of my favorite exotics in pve, grenade spam for the win. But its undoubtedly one of the ugliest pieces of exotic gear and gear in general. Please I would appreciated a arm piece that doesn't look like a crumped up piece of plastic.

    Lake of Shadows Grandmaster Platinum in 6:37

    Since Lake of Shadows was already the fastest strike in the game, we knew that the timer on this Grandmaster Nightfall could be pushed down pretty low. While farming this for materials this week we were finding more efficient ways of killing all of the champions for maximum rewards.

    So me and my Ascend clanmates set out to get the fastest time possible, resulting in this run. Doing this Platinum was important to us because skipping stuff to skimp on rewards just ain't it and we think it shows just that little bit extra.

    While getting stomped 0-4 by people in full glowing trials armor he's telling us we're doing great and he's seen us come back from worse "This is easy".

    Armor stats should be single digits so you can’t get 99 of a stat

    I've never understood why bungie made armor stats on armor 0-100 even though it only counts 0-10. Adjusting armor to drop with each stat bar as 0-10 would prevent getting 59, 79, or 99 in a stat, where a whole 9 points are wasted and there isn't a whole lot you can do about it. Having armor drop with stats 0-10 would fix this without making armor a ton easier to grind for.

    Example of current armor: Mobility: 15 Resilience: 3 Recovery: 7 Discipline: 4 Intellect: 14 Strength: 5

    Example of that same armor piece with stats 0-10:

    Mobility: 2 Resilience: 0 Recovery: 1 Discipline: 0 Intellect: 1 Strength: 1

    I also imagine that this formatting would be more friendly to new players trying to understand armor builds.
