    Nightfall: The Ordeal

    • Fixed an issue where the Ordeal version of Lake of Shadows was inaccessible at tiers above Adept for players who do not own Forsaken.
    • Fixed an issue where the Festering Core Master Nightfall was listed as 1080 Power in the Director, but was actually 750 Power.

      • Guardians should expect a much greater challenge when engaging with this strike.

    Raids

    • Leviathan rewards of XP, Glimmer, and chances towards Exotic Engrams or Bright Engrams are now back on a weekly lockout.

      • Note: Weapons and armor are not affected by the weekly lockout, and can be earned multiple times a week.

    Investment

    • Fixed an issue where some players could not acquire the "Means to an End" quest from the Prismatic Recaster.

    Armor

    • Fixed an issue where Ruinous Effigy could trigger the heal from the Stronghold Titan Exotic armor while blocking with the carry object.
    • Fixed an issue where Umbral stat Focused engrams could provide less than 10 in the selected stat.

    ELI5 : Why do single shot grenade launchers kill you when they explode close to you, but wont kill a full hp guardian in pvp unless its a direct hit?

    shoot ground in front of guardian in pvp they take 177 damage.

    do guardians' have like an extra damage modifier to themselves?

    BUG: Heat Rises on console doesn't fully eliminate downward movement while on PC you can effectively stay in the air indefinitely

    It looks like a small thing but having to land just to jump back in the air really kills the power fantasy of being a AC 130. And makes Heat Rises a less appealing thing to take advantage of on console.

    Just so its 100% clear this isn't a argument to make PC HR the same as console. I think Console should be the same as PC. I really don't want this to be one of those things that takes a year or longer to get fixed. At least some acknowledgement of it would be greatly appreciated

    Buyers Beware: Xenophage's Ornament Scope can be extremely reflective to light.

    While I was doing some scope comparisons between the default skin and the ornament "A Better Specimen" I quickly realized something was off about the scope. I did a few tests and found out that the ornament scope is much more receptive to lighting while the default isn't, making it more difficult to track enemies and it can hurt the eyes a bit. While it might not be a huge issue, I thought it was still worth documenting the differences between default and ornament, and why the default skin is better for your eyes. (Especially for night-time players!)

    I decided to take some comparison images in the Menagerie to show how flawed the Ornament scope can be when compared to the default scope, especially when closer to a light source. I did these tests on Brightness 5, and note that these issues only occur when a light source is behind you and is hitting the scope.

    I don't know if this is intended to be this way, but I believe it is important to post this before people spend 1,250 dust for an ornament of a PvE meta weapon. The difference in clarity between the scopes is noteworthy when in well-lit areas. I know people are hurting on dust, especially when Solstice is coming up; if you don't have a high enough dust reserve, this ornament might be worth the pass. Personally, I'm already getting a headache from doing these tests. I'm just going to stick with the default.

    And just for funsies, I wanted to see the how the Brightness scaled with the Ornament Scope comparing the highest to the lowest. (The default has no reflective scope, no point in comparison: https://i.imgur.com/juhsLjR.png). This time I did it in Crown of Sorrows' entrance, directly in the lighting coming behind me from above. It will never be this bad in most areas of the game, but this is how extreme it can be when the scope is exposed to direct lighting.

    Shadowshot is sad.

    Tell me why it takes 3 seconds to cancel and enemy's super once they're tethered? Last night in comp I tethered an Arcstrider. Somehow within 3 seconds of being tethered, they were able to whirlwind guard against my shots, strike twice and kill me. It's bad enough that it doesn't always take an enemy out of their super upon A DIRECT HIT!.... it also doesn't seem to work when setting a trap. I love this game and I've put over 1000 hours in, shout-out wastedondestiny.com but this (for me at least) has been an issue since the beginning of D2.

    Kell Echo Teleport is Glitched

    I was on a solo flawless run and finally made it to the boss fight. I slammed two plates and killed two ogres. When I slammed the third plate the Kell Echo didn't despawn and the ogre didn't spawn. I tested and he was immune. I tested the middle plate and it teleported me to the boss fight room. The only problem was the boss wasn't there. I died slowly of dark entropy. I can't describe how frustrated I am after finally getting a perfect run together and getting that far.

    Its fantastic, you should definitely use it. I just started using it yesterday and it is super organized and tells you exactly what to do for triumphs. It also shows all of the content that is being vaulted and how to get it. Plus, it shows what eyes of sav you haven't found.

    Helpful Tip for Contact This Week

    It's that time of the month and the two Knights are the Contact bosses this week. Now, to lower their shields (the white bubble around them) and be able to damage them, the knights must be standing close to each other. How on Io can this be accomplished? Well, friends, it's quite simple. You see, one knight is ranged meaning he stands there and shoots at you. The other is purely melee meaning he chases and hits you. Have you figured it out yet? Yes, my friends, if you do your best to stand close to the ranged knight, the melee knight will naturally have to come close to his ranged buddy. It is at this point you commence murder.

    Why does the Leviathan have the most convoluted weapon firing system ever?

    First Calus has to have 4 of his troops stand on big plates then send one of his Legionnaires into space to visibly pick out a target. Then they need to charge a ball and throw it into a specific door which only opens when 3 plates are stood on. THEN they charge another ball, go back on the big plates and send someone else into space to throw a ball to mark a target.

    Why not just point and shoot

    6. Fly TO THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOON, grab Eris's bounties, then slay out and collect in Archer's Line. (10 minutes)
    7. Fly to Mars, grab Ana's bounties, then run Strange Terrain. (15 minutes) I assume the Ogre and Nokris count as bosses for her Weekly, which is why I picked this over Will of Thousands.

    Total Time: 95-105 minutes

    Bungie, please stop with the enemy race-specific weeklies, or at least raise the chance of strikes with them in.

    It's honestly just annoying at this point - having to choose between doing an unnecessary 4th strike by selecting it on a planet, or hop in and out of strikes until you find one with the race on the bounty. It's unnecessary and annoying - just make it so we have to kill say 450 enemies total and take out 3 bosses - enough for the 3 weekly strikes and enough enemies to fight over all the strikes.

    Either increase the chance for the playlist strikes to be a strike with the races needed for the bounty, or change the bounties to not require a specific race.

    Anyone you ask will tell you strikes are boring as hell and no one is going to do any more than what they need to to get bounties, quests, weeklies etc done. There's no point shoe-horning people into doing more than necessary of them.

    Theory:The Purpose is the Deep Stone Crypt Raid

    So when I heard that Beyond Light's raid was set in the Deep Stone Crypt, I was hyped. Yet I've been wondering what the effect will be once the first team beats it. With Last Wish it led to Curse Week, and Garden of Salavation led to Season of the Undying starting. So my theory is this:We know Rasputan has been disabled by The Darkness, so my guess is we're going into the Deep Stone Crypt to construct an exo body for Rasputan to inhabit, similar to Felwinter, but this time it will be Rasputan entirely in there, he'll then be a new vendor who will probably be relevant for that season.

    You shouldn’t need space in the engram slots to be able to pick up an exotic or legendary engram

    Both legendary and exotic engrams open up and give you whatever weapon/ armor you get. You don't have to decrypt them, so why do I need space in my engram slots to be able to pick them up? This just bloats up the postmaster in time after not checking and is really annoying. Please change that.
