I think I can predict what Season 15 might be.

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 09:30 AM PDT

I'm not a lore expert, but I've seen some connections that might lead to what Season 15 might be.

    1. Dreaming City has an unknown 15th Wish

    2. Season 15 is the last season before Witch Queen

    3. Savathun has been tampering with the Dreaming City

    4. Breaking the curse on the Dreaming City might force Savathun out of hiding and force her to come after us head-on.

    5. It is probable that the Dreaming City will get vaulted, and Season of Arrivals is about the four locations being vaulted, so Season 15 will be the one about the next vaulted location.

    6. Breaking the curse will be a satisfying conclusion to the Dreaming City.

    7. The color on the Beyond Light deluxe promo for Season 15 is hive green.

My prediction: Season 15: Season of the Curse

Guardians listening to modern music while slaughtering enemies is technically canon.

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 01:27 PM PDT

In the trailer for the original game the ghost asks a guardian if he wants music and they start playing Led Zeppelin. This means the guardians listen to heavy metal and any type of music meaning there's possibly points where they sit in the tower and blast music. Imagine Zavala having to ask the guardian to turn it down as the guardian looks at him annoyed before slamming the door in his face before turning it down just a little bit.

Bungie, Now that we're moving on to the next generation of consoles can HDR finally be looked into?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 05:11 PM PDT

HDR has been broken from day one. It's annoying going into my console settings and have my to shut off HDR all together when I want to play. It's been a known issue for a while now and doesn't have a huge backing but moving forward I can see this becoming a bigger issue as more people upgrade their televisions.

It would be nice if there were more rewards past rank 100 or at least have bright engrams be upgraded a bit.

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 04:51 PM PDT

As it stands, you only get a bright engram past rank 100, every few levels. This alone would be fine if maybe there was dupe protection, like they once had. Right now though many of us play well past 100 and it feels a bit hollow ranking up past 100 as for many people like myself that's played since the beginning, bright engrams just give stuff that we already have.

Now, I'm not talking about adding stuff like unique gear or items that people can miss out on, but maybe more generic items like enhancement cores or bright dust. Maybe whatever new seasonal currency for that season. Just something to add a bit of substance for those that play past rank 100.

Bungie, could you have some fresh eyes look at the FotL weekly bounties so that we don't have any ridiculously difficult bounties for the event?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 06:18 AM PDT

I think the Solstice bounties were mostly great... except, you know, for the one requiring 20 guardian kills with elemental damage in Gambit, which would make people just stand around the invasion portal - not contributing to anything else - just so that they could invade and complete the bounty.

That bounty sucked... and out of all the Solstice bounties, you chose that one to be repeated the following week. That's 1200 bright dust I missed out.

So, just have someone else look at the bounties and make sure that something like that doesn't happen again. I don't think it's too much to ask.

Also, how about looking them over so that the instructions are clear and correct and that they actually give out the intended rewards. After the last event, hopefully you put a review process in place to prevent something like that from happening again, right?

Just Had the weirdest LFG Experience

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 03:22 PM PDT

This morning non of my friends got on destiny so I decided to LFG. I normally don't but I was just that bored. So I decided to find the first simple one there was. Someone needed help getting Sturm which is quick and easy. I joined and he got the gun and than started talking about how he's never raided. I told him me could LFG for a group and I could Sherpa. Around a half an hour later he put the LFG up and than invited me. We started the leviathan and we needed an extra so we got a friend of mine. Than, they decided they didn't want to do leviathan so we switched raids. We got all the way to the last encounter without realizing they had no good heavy or Celestials (they where mostly all hunters) so we decided to split the group and get them all whisper needless to say it was quite an odd day

Something i'm proud of doing before it gets vaulted - Solo Flawless Zero Hour Heroic 100% Completion (Configuration Puzzle + Bosses)

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 07:56 AM PDT

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sc4UgeXO3tM

Ive been blasting through this mission a ton in recent weeks to help people get their Outbreak Perfected catalyst and one of the things ive been struggling with was getting the configuration room done quick enough to do the bosses aswell when im left to do it solo, so this was done so that i could practice for when I run with people who struggle with jumping puzzles so they don't have to do the entire thing twice to get max catalyst progression.

The configuration puzzle grants a schematic for the SCRAP CF-717-91 exotic ship and also grants additional catalyst progression, allowing you to complete the catalyst in 3 weeks rather than 5.

A guide on all meta PvE weapons (this season) and where to get them

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 04:22 AM PDT

Over the past couple weeks/months I've created a somewhat exhaustive document with all currently relevant PvE weapons and where to obtain them. It also includes a much briefer overview of which guns are (comparatively) fast and easy to get.

    PvE META WEAPONS

It's gone through a number of iterations, I'm happy enough with it to publish to a wider audience at this point. I thave all the weapons I personally use in GMs/raids/dungeons/undermanning stuff in there now, as well as a couple additions from my friends and clan.

Feel free to share the document or even fork it, credit isn't necessary but appreciated. This is just something that I wished I had when I started out, just because the meta in Destiny is pretty opaque and constantly shifting.

Please note that this is always going to be a subjective list - I try my best to incorporate feedback though. There is a section at the end explaining why some weapons didn't make the cut, so give that a look before you ask me to include Skyburner's. It includes weapons that will be sunset and some currently unotainable weapons too, I've marked them as such. I'll update as necessary in Beyond Light.

The sheet is not an encounter or loadout guide, and it doesn't focus on champion mods and add clear primaries either. I've included sections on both though, since they are key parts of harder PvE content currently.

If you want to give feedback and criticism, you're more than welcome to! The list is not set in stone, I've already added and removed multiple weapons due to feedback. You can use this thread, or comment directly on the Beta version of the sheet, since it has commenting enabled. You can of course also reach me via DM or on Discord, Createx#8074.

    Happy farming Guardians!

I just did the Legend of Acrius strike solo and it felt a lot like playing Halo on legendary. Are there any other activities with a similar feel?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 10:32 AM PDT

Title, pretty much. I liked how every problem could be solved with bullets and thinking, while still presenting a hard-yet-possible challenge. Nightfalls require specific Mods for dealing with champions, raids have extra mechanics, and pretty much everything in the game matches you with other players. None of those are bad things, but I want something else for a bit.

Wall of flames titan PvP build

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 04:13 PM PDT

Primary-travelers chosen Secondary-martyrs retribution (better with demolition) Heavy-any solar

Helmet-khhpris horn Mods- blast radius (solar dawn mod) High energy fire Taking charge Stacks on stacks (void dawn mod) Dynamo or perpetuation class mods (void)

    Stats-Get max resilience

    Subclass-Bottom tree sunbreaker Thermite grenades

    How it works:

-All solar kills regen class ability energy -Combo with Marty, grenade then Marty. -travelers chosen to regen all abilities. -sun warrior to regen grenade and melee -grenade and melee to create sunspots. -Place constant barriers that damage anyone in a huge line twice. -sun warrior and high energy fire stack to allow huge Marty damage. -bonus points if you use a demolitionist solar heavy weapon for more grenades and barriers.

The objective of this build is to just keep the ground constantly on fire with Marty, themites, khepris horn and sunspots. Complete area denial.

Very fun in 6v6 as it's a very chaotic area control build. Can't image this working in a competitive setting. Go have some fun with it.

How would I know which egg I missed?

So I was getting all the eggs for the dreaming city seal, and it said I was one short. I don't know what this could've been because I've kept up with all the ascendant challenges (as far as I know). I'm just wondering if there's any way to tell which ones I missed. Thanks!
