If Servitors Get Frozen They Shouldn't Be Able to Immune Any Enemies Posted: 24 Nov 2020 05:36 PM PST This concept baffles me beyond explanation. If a servitor gets frozen while "Immuning" a group of adds then the immune tether should immediately cease, end of story. So annoying to be left with a frozen Servitor or sometimes even an entire add group of frozen enemies that remain immune for a period of time. Freezing an enemy should end all effects they have on the surrounding area; good and bad. This could also include Wizard Smoke and Psion Boosts. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Nov 2020 07:39 AM PST Gambit pro-tip, if you bank all your motes when Drifter says "bank those motes, you've got enough to summon a primeval," you'll summon a primeval. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Nov 2020 07:01 AM PST We all cheered when we finally secured the deep stone crypt, Taniks falling as a ball of fire. We grabbed our precious loot from the chest and headed our separate ways. This has left but one question, where is the bottom half of Taniks? While we celebrated the defeat of Taniks, we forgot to finish the job. Tanik's legs are still out there, waiting for the perfect time to strike and we must be ready. Heads up Guardians, the fight is far from over. [link] [comments] |
A full deaf team cleared Deep Stone Crypt Day One Posted: 24 Nov 2020 01:50 PM PST Hello Destiny community! Please pardon my English if its that bad, It's not my native language. u/funpak tend to make those posts to inform the community of our accomplishments on raid clears with a full deaf team but this time, He didn't play but he did wish us good luck and assisted us with the first encounter by givin the hint on using scanner buff in basement to inform the team which tube to dps on. It's been a crazy night, we were stuck on Atraks-1 for 14 hours or so, We even killed him but somehow he regained the tiny piece of hp and wiped us out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzXa4WMm_yE We didn't give up so we kept goin. Once we got over with Atraks-1 (the hardest encounter out of all in my opinion). We spent only one hour or so on 3rd encounter, took care of nuclear cores pretty easy. Then we spent about final 6 hours or so on final boss, we understood the mechanics pretty quick, its similar to the 3rd encounter with extra layer on boss fight + dps phase. Our failures were due to the dps check being difficult for our team, we survived this encounter pretty easy but kept failing the dps check, so we adapted our dps strat by goin one div and 5 on Iza + autoload GL along with high energy fire mods and havin both hunters goin celestial nighthawk for extra dps. We also had one guy goin titan for Bubble. Here's the reaction of our team killing the final boss - Tanikshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGHsHUs-1Tg Pardon the poor quality of our clips. TLDR: A full deaf team cleared the new raid day one with about 40 min left on 24 hour deadline. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 24 Nov 2020 07:26 AM PST TL;DR: It's great getting to re-live some of the experiences we enjoyed back in Destiny 1, but it's painful to see these activities coming back WITHOUT their respective, exclusive rewards. Bungie, going forward, PLEASE take the time to also bring back the exclusive rewards that players loved so much. Taniks:

Posted: 24 Nov 2020 09:49 AM PST Many of these ornaments were only available in year 1 of D2 when things weren't that great. Now with the faction sets being back in the loot pool for a while and the new cosmetic ornament system in the works I think now would be a great time to reintroduce these old ornaments for a reasonable cost in the new kiosk. This includes: The faction ornaments including ones for exotics (Eye of Another World, Crest of the Alpha Lupi, Knucklehead Radar) Vanguard and Crucible armor ornaments (looking at you Phoenix Battle Ornament) Trials of the 9 ornaments [link] [comments] |
Most Underrated Thing About Beyond Light Posted: 24 Nov 2020 05:14 AM PST It's Enforcer brig. That mf clapped my ass on Europa and I can never forgive him for it. During the campaign, if I saw the piercing red light through the snow I knew my life was coming to a close. Now, if I walk through Europa and I see that red light, I make him my b*tch. In Response to u/StupidEnclaves post, I give you: Taniks, the Re-Abomination Posted: 24 Nov 2020 09:23 AM PST |
Adding last season's weapons to the loot pool just reminds me how great the Umbral system was. Posted: 24 Nov 2020 12:32 PM PST I'm so glad I did all the grinding for god rolls on these weapons back then. I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to try to get them with random world drops as the only source! Let's hope bungie remembers how well-received the awesome umbral system was, and we get more setups like that in future seasons! [link] [comments] |
Hey Bungie, did Trench Barrel really need "fixing"? Posted: 24 Nov 2020 03:44 PM PST Trench shotties were fun again but still did not come even remotely close to changing the boss DPS meta (swords still being king). So really, all the "fix" achieved was making trench barrel shotguns un-fun again. Maybe switch it back to just the time limit without the 3 shot limit? [link] [comments] |
Cloudstrife is a god-damn wizard's staff with a gun wrapped around it Posted: 24 Nov 2020 11:04 AM PST The lore talks about a "more than mortal" person who wielded a crook that controlled lightning in order to protect a village from raiders. That thing's a damn wizard's staff that we strapped a gun assembly onto. I love it Edit: Yo it's CloudStrike and my brain just autocorrected it to Strife... I'm cool with it honestly [link] [comments] |
A colorblind guardians frustrations with Wrathborn Hunts, and colorblind mode as a whole. Posted: 24 Nov 2020 02:22 PM PST Hi, I'm Spade, a red-green colorblind guardian. I love destiny, but recently I have found myself more and more frustrated with the seasonal content, as well as what the colorblind mode does and does not effect within the game. First and foremost, my largest gripe with this season is that colorblind mode does NOT change the Wrathborn goo trails from green to any other color, and I'm frequently forced to slow down to a walk to find the Wrathborn quest because of this. To me, this is the most urgent thing that needs fixing, the rest of this isn't as important, it's just personal gripes of mine. Feel free to stop reading here. Smaller gripes of mine that I would also like fixed are the fact that weapons like the thorn are still very much green, and the text for when you have enough, or not enough glimmer is green and red respectively instead of something like yellow and purple. Just about any armor, weapon, or shader that is green or red in game also remains green or red in red green colorblind mode. The same thing goes for red or green emblems. I understand that a lot of this isn't super important, and I do appreciate that bungie has a colorblind mode in the first place, but imo it needs a little work. The color changes on commons in your inventory, and desaturation of purples is much appreciated, but I would at least like to see the Wrathborn goo fixed ah some point this season. TLDR: even in red green colorblind mode, Wrathborn goo is still green, and my inventory often looks like I'm going to sample hardwood colors. Pls fix. [link] [comments] |
THANK YOU for letting us replay the final exotic missions without redoing the whole quests. Posted: 24 Nov 2020 05:54 AM PST Especially the quest for Salvation's Grip, Nolan North's Drifter impression is some of the best shit ever, was very much needed this year. [link] [comments] |
Bungie, THANK YOU for listening and adding in unique raid perks! Posted: 24 Nov 2020 09:59 AM PST Title. I know I wasn't the only one that missed how D1 raid weapons were unique because they had special perks. Double Triple, Focused Firefly, even Cocoon was cool. And seeing the cool new perks in the DSC weapons is great! I feel like that curated roll shotgun with Reconstruction/Recombination could be really spicy for DPS, for instance. Plus, they're all absolutely gorgeous, which is also always nice. Best looking guns we've gotten since Last Wish, Trustee is competing hard with Transfiguration for my favorite looking rifle. Taniks getting resurrected by a Ghost would be the most hilarious shit ever Posted: 24 Nov 2020 09:25 PM PST Cayde killed him twice, but he was rebuilt by his crew both times. We killed him once, but he was rebuilt with SIVA. Then we killed him again, and apparently he was rebuilt as an Exo or with Golden Age technology or something, and then we killed him again. That's five times. You know how many times we've killed other characters? We killed Oryx once aboard the Dreadnought, then followed him into his Throne World properly to kill him for good... except he still didn't truly die, since his heart lives on in Touch of Malice. So that's two deaths for the Taken King himself, and he's still not dead... just buried in rubble in the old Tower. We've killed Nokris three times, once in the campaign, once in the strike for his gambit to escape death and once at the Court of Savathun. Sure, he's dead for real, but he survived more fights with us than his dad did. So that means that some rando fucking Eliksni mercenary has cheated death more times than Hive gods that spent billions of years perfecting the art of cheating death. It'd be both appropriate and hilarious for him to get resurrected as a Lightbearer. The undying Taniks now truly, ultimately undying. [link] [comments] |
Bungie needs to keep PvE and PvP stuff apart from each other. Posted: 24 Nov 2020 02:29 PM PST Basically title. There are always build that break PvP. In PvE content these are fine but these things should be tested and kept separately. First Warlock got nerfed which was very understandable on the PvP side of things and it pissed off PvE players. I can already see Cloudstrike, the new exotic sniper getting nerfed aswell. (Clip as reference, literally 5 kills with 1 bullet) https://mobile.twitter.com/DizzyFA_/status/1331353931457421316 I know Bungie is trying its best but i wonder sometimes if they even look into things like this. Don't get me wrong, I love this game but i wanna know how they would tackle these issues in the future, there is always gonna be a group of people that get triggered. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Nov 2020 03:12 PM PST I get anywhere between 15-30 less frames than I used to seemingly no reason in any given area. Even Crucible I'm suddenly dropping below 60 on not so rare occasions. Some areas in PVE I'm now going as far down as high 40s. I used to average about 80-90 in Crucible with dips down to the low 70s and 60s every once in a blue moon if there was a lot of chaos on screen. For comparison, I now get high 50s just standing in the middle of Anomaly in a private match by myself. I'm liking Beyond Light a lot, but it's pretty upsetting to lose such a noticable out of performance in a patch that was supposed to actually take a load off of my machine by moving it server-side. For reference, my specs are an i5-9600k, RTX 2070 (non-super), and 16GB of RAM at 3000mhz. I run the game at 1440p, max FOV, and nearly all graphical settings maxed. Even trying to turn things down graphically still didn't net me my pre-update performance levels. I understand this may take some time to figure out and patch, but I know I'm not the only one experiencing this so at least telling us that you're aware of this issue and investigating it would be reassuring. Posted: 24 Nov 2020 12:58 AM PST Vanguard strikes should be a place of co-operation, not a mini-Crucible match where teammates try to kill off each other first to gain bounty progress. We know you have the technology to make bounties progress fireteam-wide, Trials is a great example of this! Please put an end to all this misery of playing strikes and trying to sandbag teammates in order to finish your bounties quicker. Just think about what would Zavala say if he saw his fireteams fighting each other to progress the bounties he hands out? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Nov 2020 04:25 PM PST For those who don't know, this week a new aspect was released for the titan stasis class: Tectonic Harvest. This aspect creates buffs after shattering stasis crystals. It seems like the two titan aspects should have more synergy with each other. The most efficient way of detonating stasis crystals with the Titan stasis class is by sliding through them, similar to the slam that the stasis hunter gets. However, due to the speed and distance of the titan slide, by the time these buffs are created by the stasis crystals, they are far behind you. This halts the flow of game play, forcing you to retrace your steps. A Proposed Solution:

Posted: 24 Nov 2020 05:07 AM PST The Lure should gain one entire charge after a finished strike, crucible or gambit match. Bonus charging can still stay and give you more progress. It feels really bad to do 3 Ordeals and not even have 2 charges done. Wrathborn Hunts aren't such an amazing rewarding activity that would warrant gating the access to them so much. Why make this so grindy? I know you want the players to do more core playlists, but this isn't a good way to do it. [link] [comments] |
