    The exotic archive should sell catalysts you can no longer get, or those catalysts should go back into world drop or other activities

    Enemies affected by Disruption Break in the Bunker E15 lost sector will take increased damage from the NPC frames.

    Title.

    I was running the Master Bunker E15 lost sector and noticed that I was ripping through the barrier champions unusually fast. My new strategy is typically to clear out the adds so I can comfortably focus on the barrier champs. The frames would then focus on the champs as well, which did a decent amount of damage.

    Well, my pulse had disruption break, and after I popped a barrier champion's bubble with it, its health just started disappearing like it was covered in witherhoards and anarchy shots.

    So yeah, ALL allies benefit from disruption break, even NPCs :)

    For anyone that isn't aware of what disruption break does: If you break an elemental shield or barrier bubble, that enemy will take 50% more damage from kinetic sources for a few seconds. This makes it really useful in end-game PvE activities where match game and barrier champions are abundant.

    For solo stuff, I find pulses to be the best barrier/shield option for their good range and damage. The Jian 7 Rifle (arc) and Stars in Shadow (solar) pulse rifles can both roll disruption break and I highly recommend them. Jian will be sunset after next season but next season we'll be getting Premonition which might be able to roll disruption break (Bungie pls)

    I'm not saying ALL Titan Armor should look like it.

    It is the perfect example of having just the right amount of bulk and symmetry. I know this is a silly post but I just think most titan armor should be designed with DUNEMARCHERS as an example of what Titan Armor should look like.

    I have unlocked every single mod in the game as I have played since year 1.

    Can we please find a use for them? Or allow us to break them down for weapon telemetries or something.

    Can we have some non-Void Special Ammo Grenade Launchers

    We only have four Lightweight and one Wave Frame Grenade Launchers that are obtainable right now, which are Orewing's Maul, Truthteller, and the two Exotics, Fighting Lion and Witherhoard, and Deafening Whisper respectively. Four of these are Void, one is Kinetic and none are Arc or Solar.

    Martyr's Retribution, the first and last Solar Special GL which was ever released, sunsets next Season and isn't obtainable anymore in this one either, which would leave Deafening Whisper as the only Wave Frame GL and the total number of Legendary Special GLs at three, all of which are Void.

    The last Arc GL we ever got was Flash and Thunder from Destiny 2 Vanilla, and there were only three in the Kinetic Slot, Militia's Birthright, and the notorious Mountaintop, the latter two of which released in Forsaken and Black Armoury respectively.

    I personally prefer these Grenade Launchers over the other three kinds of Special weapons, Wave Frames are really unique for non-Exotics ( like those Y1 Omolon SMGs. I remember those ), and Lightweight Frames perform really well at ad clear and breaking elemental shields from a distance, not to mention that Blinding Grenades stop most combatants from firing at you, which is really useful in activities where ads can quickly overwhelm you, like Nightfalls or Dungeons, but right now my options are very limited since a new Grenade Launcher only seems to be released every blue moon, which is darn shame because these things are awesome once you learn how to bounce them about and use remote detonation

    Bungie, can we please get a reason why shatterdive gets damage resistance AND insane lunge distance that allows you to completely shift your momentum and launch 15m in the other direction?

    Title.

    Being able to completely shift your momentum mid-air and slam to the ground in any direction you choose is an amazing utility to escape sightlines in-air and dodge projectile attacks. Why is this a thing? Also why the damage resist at all? I understand that it got reduced, but is any resistance even necessary?

    It's sadly never going to happen but it would be nice to hear the "why" and justification behind a lot of these decisions.

    Been said before, but we need Alternative Ways to get CWL and Warmind Mods

    People keep saying they need Powerful Friends, but I need a bunch of Warmind mods that I'll just never get with Banshee selling Icarus Grip and Major Spec every other day. I'd imagine my case isn't unique for those who want CWL and Warmind mods.

    Curious to see if the Prismatic Recaster addresses this again.

    Should Bungie 'Be Brave' when it comes to weapon perks?

    That would allow for more interesting combinations of perks on certain weapons, for example:

    An auto rifle with Timed Payload and Explosive Payload.

    Or a special ammo grenade launcher with Reconstruction and Cluster Bomb.

    Imagine the mayhem.

    Sunday Plz - Give Exotic Weapons The Ability To Accept Shaders

    Greetings Guardians!

    Ever since the conception of this sub, we've dealt with floods of reposts. We're sure you're familiar with them. Many are for important issues that are shared by the entire player base, while others are just for personal requests and desires for the game. The Bungie Plz was shortly implemented after conception as a central "wish-list" for all that we, the community, desired. It is completely user driven. With rare exceptions, nearly all submissions are sent in by you, the users of this subreddit!

    However, just like Destiny 2, our wiki article began to experience problems as it grew over time. It's been getting just a few sizes too big. We understand that the continued addition of topics has begun to encroach on your ability to continue the conversation towards matters that mean the most to you, and even though the Bungie Plz has seen so many successes over the years, with well over 100 officially implemented game suggestions and desires, there's still dozens upon dozens of retired topics that haven't seen the light of day for many months...even years!


    Every Sunday, this thread will focus on a certain retired Bungie Plz topic of your choosing, voted by the users. We will curate a list of 5 suggestions to help focus your voting process, but you get the final say on what is talked about each week. By all means, if one topic is overwhelmingly desired despite not being part of those 5 items we picked, then we'll be happy to go with that one. Our curated list is only to help you focus the conversation. The only stipulation is that the topic must be new every week. This thread is for the entirety of the Bungie Plz wiki, so no back-to-back voting!

    Think of these threads as a way to keep the spark alive, and to bring old topics up to fresh light. For example, do we still want to move Queenbreaker to the special slot?     Does anyone else feel that it's ironic/funny one of the hardest missions currently in destiny 2 (Harbinger) takes place literally right under one of the easiest missions in destiny (Lake of Shadows) or is just me?

    LFG fire teams without friend requests

    I have posted this a couple times now but it never seems to get enough upvotes to be seen.

    If you change one ps setting, people can join you, without being your friend, assuming your fireteam is open.

    On the psn dashboard go to settings,, account, privacy, personal information and messaging, and change

    Online status and now playing

    To anyone

    Now people can join you through party without being your friend.

    Now I know begging for votes is frowned upon, but could we please get this visible? For fuck sake copy my post and take credit, but people need to know this and I'm sick to damned death of having to purge my damned list every week.

    PS4 LFG App is full of horrible spam posts. Are there even consequences for these people?

    Does reporting do anything? Do these people get banned from making posts at some point? I just wanna find a team to raid without scrolling past this stuff for 5 minutes.

    Edit: Someone just told me that the spammer from those screenshots did get banned from posting on LFG for one week!

    Make raid mods cost zero

    Honestly is the reason I don't use them because they throw off my build because I'll need energy for the raid mods. If we're locking all raid mods to their specific set for that raid then they should cost any energy, especially since they're not active outside of the raid

    Edit 2: so I've been seeing a lot of people say that the mods shouldn't be zero and after reading all the posts honestly I agree. I feel like there should be lower tier mods that cost 1-2 for the raid and then higher tier mods that are 3-5 based on what they do. Having the ability to have mods that have different tiers for the raids would be awesome. I mean we do it with stat mods so why not raid mods.

    My best friend married a drop mag/subsistence/multi-kill clip gnawing hunger. Please help him with an intervention

    My friend has known it for 6 months or so, already racking up 20,0000+ kills in debt in masterworked marriage. I haven't had the heart to tell him he's wasting his time because the synergies of his marriage completely go against every grain of my being. It gives me anxiety every time I inspect them together.

    I can't imagine all the times in raids, or 1280 nightfalls that drop mag and subsistence fail him and he's left with literally no ammo. What if he even tried to attempt a GM?? And as his best friend I'm supposed to just sit back and let it happen?!

    No, I can't! I can't sleep at night, knowing that such a good friend of mine is knowingly okay with literally the worst possible roll of literal all time for gnawing hunger. What could be the happiest moments of his life, he's given up for the cheap, synthetic happiness.

    Please brothers and sisters of DTG, join me in this intervention for my brother.. let him know how far he's strayed, and how shitty thy roll is. If not for me, use your patriotic duty to our future guardians, so they not be mis swayed. Do it for the traveler

               

    *Next night edit - LOL, i was pretty drunk last night and completely forgot i made this post, didnt think it would actually get traction. ive actually tried his same roll when i randomly got one and can see why he, and the few others in the comments, would say they liked it but the lack of synergy on it drives me nuts. especially since GH by itself can actually be a REALLY good gun. as everyone else has pointed out subsistence/rampage on it is amazing, and is what i run as well. either way, use what you like to use! just had to tease him a little bit, thanks for the laughs

    Exotics Need Catalysts

    Players have been complaining that their favorite Exotics don't have catalysts, severely hampering the player's ability to generate orbs of power, for many months now. Orbs of power are what drives supers, and without them, endgame content (GM NFs especially) can be severely hampered without supers for add-clear.

    As such, I have laid out which Exotics are currently lacking catalysts. those in italics are Exotics I feel comfortable enough to suggest a catalyst for. (Feel free to roast me for my shitty suggestions lmao)

    So far, we have these 28 Exotics with no catalysts:

    Kinetics:

    Wishender

    Malfeasance

    Chaperone

    Last Word

    Elemental:

    Time for the collection of terrible suggestions which are probably way too OP.

    Malfeasance: Mulligan. That's it. Just, Mulligan.

    Last Word: +2 magsize + 15 Handling

    Arbalest: +Reload Speed

    Thorn: increased Remnant pull/collection radius

    Monte Carlo: 2 options:

    1) increased melee damage when wielding Monte Carlo (like its in your hands, not just equipped) preferably with a custom stabbing animation of bayonetting an enemy with MC

    2) improved hip-fire + Markov Chain lasts longer (+1 or 2 seconds. minor, really)

    Traveler's Chosen: Full-auto. Maybe with a slight nerf to fire-rate. toggle-able

    Jotunn: increased reload-speed

    Le Monarque: stacking poison. already basically 2-shots in PVP, so it shouldn't really affect PVP enough to be an issue.

    Two-Tailed Fox: Full-auto. Hold to fire both rockets at one target, tap to fire separately. (Would need to adjust the mag size to two for a visual representation of the two rockets)

    Queenbreaker: Chains to nearby enemies (short-range chain, not trinity ghoul range (also move to special weapon lol))

    Thunderlord: sights. give 'em back. also, Ambitious Assassin

    Truth: Why does this exist? legendaries can roll with tracking. anyway, +velocity + damage. More damage than other RLs

    Heir Apparent: toggle to negate spin-up, but no shield. or maybe colossus stop. but is that really useful?

    Salvation's Grip: More ice. larger freeze radius.

    Let me know what y'all think, and feel free to add suggestions in the comments, especially for those Exotics I didn't cover.

    Bungie please reissue the original trials of the nine weapons

    Freezing should be disabled in the crucible and replaced with a heavy slow

    Probably still a death sentence but you can at least shoot back. Being frozen in place doesn't feel good in a game as fast paced as destiny.

    Hey Bungie, if you're wanting to reissue legendary weapons, why not legendaries that haven't had random rolls?

    I've been running around with weapons such as 18 Kelvins, Manannan SR4, Scathelocke, Time-Worn Spire, Lincoln Green for the past week or so in Crucible and have caught myself thinking, "Man, these weapons feel amazing! They would be even better with new perks like Surplus or Killing Wind!".

    Yes, these are weapons from Y1, but seeing as creating new unique loot seems to be an issue right now, bringing back old legendaries with random rolls would be a simpler method to add more diversity to the loot pool! Plus, they would fill out currently underrepresented archetypes (looking at you, Rapid-Fire Frame pulses). Remember when you brought back weapons like Dire Promise, and loads of people were super hyped? Why not repeat that?

    Obviously Sunsetting is a hot topic currently (which I'm not gonna touch here), but bringing back old stuff that haven't had random rolls would be a way to ease it, as least for now!

    Titan supers

    As a primarily Titan main (D1 warlock main) if we're looking at a new darkness subclass every new expansion, can we please have some nutty single target damage super instead of another roaming super? I have max(ish) level on all classes and my favourite supers have to be nova bomb and golden gun.

    Love all the classes but I'm always drawn back to bubble Titan and recently behemoth because of the fantastic mobility rather than the super.

    I really don't like the vaguity of various descriptions in this game

    Started playing recently and oh god I can't stand things like "after x increases x FOR A SHORT DURATION"

    Why can't I just know the effect's duration in seconds? How long is "short"?

    I go to the wiki expecting some numbers and guess what - it's the same.

    This also applies to abilities, why can't I see my cooldowns displayed with seconds in real time? I just wanna know if my grenade will be ready by the time I arrive to the enemies but I can't when the only thing indicating time left is some vague box with no numbers on it.
