Not only do Warlocks keep getting nerfed, Osiris lost his Ghost and Ikora is non-existent.

Throwing the rounds by jumping off the map for 10 games was far more enjoyable than getting stomped 10 games in a row for messenger... There is something seriously wrong with trials.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 12:57 PM PST

As with most I was excited to find that the new trials pulse can roll with desperado and after trying a few rounds and getting instantly stomped by hunters using stasis and fellwinters, I decided just to throw the games with people instead and was a lot less frustrated. We even had one team that did the same against us and we finished with a showdown when both had lost 4 - quite wholesome!

Trials needs some reward structure beyond the 1 bounty for losing matches and at least trying. In its current state, it's just not an enjoyable experience to even try trials.

Edit: thank you for the awards!

I know this is a controversial topic, I don't like the idea of throwing games but at the same time it really outlines how frustrating the game mode is currently. It's good to see so many people offering their opinions and suggestions for trials, let's hope bungie is still listening...

Getting no Trials tokens on a loss and only one on a win doesn’t feel good.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 04:43 AM PST

Average pvp player here. Got the unbroken title, never went flawless. Last night, in a 5 hour trials session I got 60 tokens. 3 rank up packages..... 3..... Do people really question why lower skilled players don't want to play trials? It's a joke. If you're part of the super sweat community, you'll get tons of tokens. But fuck the little guy. Just get good, right? Complete joke.

Shattered Throne and Pit of Heresy should be farmable like Prophecy

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 02:50 PM PST

Why not structure Shattered Throne and Pit of Heresy like Prophecy is? Bungie has given us a good reason to run these old dungeons for the new roll combinations and high stat roll armor. The drops aren't powerful/pinnacle so what is the harm in allowing us to farm it over and over again? Separate request, can the raid armor drops have the same guarantee as the Pit armor drop at the boss?

Edit: Thanks for the upvotes. I just want to clarify that I am super happy with this season so far and I love the fact that these dungeons are relevant again. It would be nice to be able to farm for rolls/armor more than 3 times a week.

Bungie, please make the door keypad next to Crow in the H.E.L.M. an interactive object that brings us back to the tower.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 07:59 AM PST

And maybe add a similar thing in the tower to bring us up to the H.E.L.M.

It's just kind of weird to having to open the director to travel back and forth between the two.

When people are jumping off the map to get a trials weapon doesn't that show you something Bungie

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 02:18 PM PST

The fact that loads of people including me would rather jump off the map and purposely lose, than play a match and inevitably lose. Shouldn't that show you that something is wrong with Trials. The skill gap is absolutely insane and the power level discrepancy really doesn't help. The fact that you could be a really good player but lose a match because someone has more free time than you to endlessly grind their power level isn't skill based.

Power Level doesn't equal skill, Iron Banner fair enough but if you are claiming Trials to be the hardest PvP content then everyone should be on a level playing field from the get go and the truly try hard people will still dominate but atleast those with less skill will stand a chance.

We have to go flawless or win matches to get weapons that we want, I don't care about Trials but people shouldn't be basically locked out of content just because they are tired of joining matches and getting absolutely destroyed.

Raids are the endgame for PvP and everyone atleast has a chance of completing one. It's easy to carry people, carrying someone to win 7 trials matches without losing isn't easy.

Trials in my opinion needs to be revamped, instead of having weapons, armour behind flawless or wins it should be strictly cosmetics. Ornaments, shaders, emblems, triumphs e.g. not weapons that can be taken into other game modes that give you an advantage for example survival.

Tier 3 Focused armor should have at least 60 stats.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 04:37 PM PST

I know that charging up the Hammer will get easier as the season goes on and we get access to advanced medallions, but it still feels pretty bad to unlock the focusing options, grind up the gold, forge the medallions, fight through Battlegrounds, and sink all of those Hammer Charges into an engram that spits out a 54-stat shirt.

    C'mon.

I'd rather have Trials of Osiris be more accessible to average PvP players than how it is now.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 12:04 PM PST

Right now, to go flawless you either have to be great at PvP, get carried, or cheat. This makes the game mode wildly unfun for people who are doing none of the above. I understand that the current mindset around Trials is that only the best of the best should go flawless, but I'd much rather have a fun gamemode where average players can go flawless than what we have now. It would seem that many players who do not think they can go flawless themselves get carried or have someone go on their account. I feel the game mode would be much improved if this changed and the gamemode was more accessible to average players for both good players and average ones. Connection based matchmaking could solve this and there are a plethora of great videos that go into great detail on this matter.

I really think Bungie should offer Ascendant Shards on every Legend Valor Reset at Shaxx

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 08:30 AM PST

To get to Legend in Valor it takes (at worst) like 5-10 hours. In that time you can easily get several ascendant shards from Nightfall Grandmaster Strikes.

I think Bungie should offer for every reset a shard, instead of only one per season and after that only exotics.

Exotics are easy to get from Xûr and every other source, since they can drop anywhere. Shards can't. Shards are upgrade materials.

Upgrade materials are more important than exotic engrams. And for some non-pvp players it would be a cool incentive as same as for the pvp mains to play pvp and keep it populated aside of having finally a viable source for upgrade materials for their armor.

In pvp, Trials of Osiris shouldn't be the only activity which gives 100% drops of Shards on flawless.

Stop being stingy, Bungie. Give us more loot in a loot shooter. PvP needs some love.

We shouldn't need to delete shaders in order import others. There should be enough room for all of them in my inventory.

What kind of mental gymnastics did it take to end up BUFFING hunter shuriken?

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 10:27 PM PST

I seriously don't get it, it was an op melee before the change and now it's even worse. It's so easy to secure kills with because of the tracking ricochet and base 90 damage. This is such a gross neglect of feedback for stasis hunters (and in general) that it's baffling. Who is seriously dumb enough to think that revenants needed a buff?

450 rpm Auto Rifles need a buff

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 07:24 PM PST

Seventh Seraph Carbine, Breakneck, Shadow Price, and other 450 rpm auto rifles are very cool but are limited by their archetype significantly.

I would suggest improving (reducing) screen shake and increasing its damage so that it has a ttk under 0.80 seconds

What if the core playlists just awarded 3 pinnacles for every 3 activities you complete up to 9?

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 09:15 AM PST

If I want to do three strikes, crucible, and gambit matches each, then I get my three pinnacles. If I want to run 9 strikes then I get three pinnacles, etc. This gives me options and frees me up to play whatever activity I feel like playing any given week.

    Outbreak Perfected (Patient Zero) Painting

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 03:10 PM PST

    "~directive = KILL while enemies = PRESENT: execute(directive)~"

Outbreak Perfected (Patient Zero) - 30x18"/76x46c, mixed media on canvas.

I don't know why I was worried that it would be too challenging to capture the living SIVA particles that are part of this ornament's design, but it lined up perfectly with my style. Very happy to have gotten this piece as a commission.

I can practically hear this painting.

Shouldn't Season of the Worthy (Season 10) gear be removed from the world loot pool as they are hitting infusion cap at the end of this season? Retiring this gear could help improve chances for this season's loot.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 10:36 AM PST

Early on last season, Bungie addressed some of the loot scarcity concerns by reintroducing a significant chunk of the Y3 seasonal weapons to the world loot pool.

At the same time, they removed Season of Dawn weapons from the world loot pool by stating that they didn't want weapons which would reach power cap the following season to be acquired as it would feel bad to receive something with such a short shelf life. Sensible and logical move.

However, this season it has occurred to me that Season of the Worthy weapons / armour are still dropping in the world loot pool, despite the fact that they are reaching infusion cap at the beginning of the next season.

I know it seems crazy that it's been 11 whole months already since Worthy came around (10th of March it released if you can believe it), yet here we are!

So in keeping with the above philosophy, shouldn't these be retired from the world loot pool?

As I've seen a bit of discussion lately about how uncommon some of the new playlist exclusive weapons seem to be, I do wonder if they are less likely to appear due to the sheer size of the current world loot pool and how saturated it is by almost sunset gear.

By retiring Worthy gear from the world loot, I would hope that this could contribute to players getting more new and enticing loot in their hot hands. There's some super desirable loot out there right now and Bungie has done a great job with the injection of gear this season... I'd just love more chances at getting it.

Bungie, why are you so good about listening to the community about some things but refuse to even acknowledge others?

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 01:08 PM PST

Bungie, you did great things with this season. You did many things the players have been asking for for a while, whether it came to sandbox changes, QOL changes, or the seasonal activity itself. These include:

    - Introducing a good number of new legendary weapons

    - Buffing rockets

    - Creating new play-style mods

    - New landing zone on Europa

    - Making rank-up banners less obtrusive and streamlining the PvP rank-up system

    - Adjusting the Aeons to be relevant

    - Creating a high enemy density seasonal activity and reintroducing a higher-density strike

    - Making a Tex Machina Scout /sniper Rifle.

But you still have yet to even acknowledge the big problems players have with more major issues. These include:

    - The fact that s-word-ing has not been any better-received by players even with the host of new legendaries (and I know this is going to be discussed in the State of Destiny update, but there is no word about when this season it is coming)

    - Trials is still decidedly not fun for a majority of players due to stingy loot, cheaters, and being matched against 100x flawless sweatlords on your first match

    - Warlocks get the short end of the stick on every single nerf, especially with stasis

    - People have wanted new/returning PvP maps for ages, and no word on them
