Updating all strikes to the level of Devil's Lair would improve the core playlist enjoyability.

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 05:48 PM PST

Something that both Cabal Battlegrounds and Devil's Lair that make both of them really enjoyable:

    Enemy Density.

Of course, the layout of the playfield of both activities is really well done, giving enough cover to break line of sight in dangerous situations, but not enough space to players lay too back and snipe everything.

Overwhelming forces is more challenging than few overpowered bullet sponges.

The prophecy dungeon is challenging as a solo player not because everything can OHK you, but because the density and aggressiveness of mobs. Knights pursuing your ass with their flame and cannon, while you have a dozen psions firing a salvo of projectiles.

The Reckoning was a Enjoyable experience because it had a absurd amount of enemies rushing you (i'm not going to point stomp mechanics rn).

I really like the idea that higher difficulty options to activities shouldn't rely solely on buffing enemies to 2x, 3x, or 5x their HP and damage output. Higher difficulties could be achieved with higher enemy density, higher enemy tiers (like on battlegrounds, as the players progress, the enemies start spawning more orange and yellow tiers instead of redbars only).

    If a heroic nightfall has 300 enemies, mostly redbars, a few oranges and less yellows, the Grandmaster could as well be 450~550 enemies, mostly orange bars, a few yellows, and some minibosses;
i.e: Devil's lair knights and witches could be all majors, the brig and the spider tank could be mini-bosses, all vandals and captains could be orange bars, etc.

I hate competing for kills in strikes and heroic nightfalls.

I hate dealing with OHK enemies that can take as much as 8 Xeno shots for no other reason than "it is what it is" (overload champions can suck my dick).

Most strikes would be improved by a lot with this, pumping up enemy density in Strikes and Nightfall would make the playlist feels much better without too much work.

Ramping up enemy density, enemy tiers, and aggressiveness, instead on relying on bullet sponges and OHK, would improve endgame content. (i'm sorry, but OHK bullet sponges bring the speed of the game to a halt sometimes, on a game as fast as destiny, it doesn't feels good).

TL;DR: Make all strikes have the enemy density of Devil's Lair and Cabal Battlegrounds.

    Edit: a few gramatical fixes.

Bungie, please just make Stasis OP as f**k but have Shaxx ban it from the Crucible

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 06:13 AM PST

    I don't see a downside to this.

Stasis will remain very good for PvE activities.

And nobody is getting frozen and slowed and other such business in the Crucible. I feel like even people using Stasis in Crucible are mostly doing it because they know they'll be facing Behemoths and Revenants on the other team.

So yeah, you won't be tossing Silence and Squall and getting easy kills while locking down an entire area that you're not even forced to be in but then, no one is doing that to you either.

It will let plenty of Light subclasses that have been pushed out be usable again. (I mean, who's using Arc Staff or Stormtrance when you can just get frozen so easily? As just some examples.)

All the nerfs to Shadebinder can be taken away because it will just be a PvE subclass.

And given Zavala's, Saladin's, and Shaxx's attitude towards the Darkness doesn't it make sense to not allow it in the Crucible? It's debatable but either side has arguments.

I get that it is a "feelsbad" to get Stasis and then be limited in where you can use it but you know what else feels bad? Shadebinder being able to freeze so easily that it needs to have a 1.5 second freeze duration. Shatterdive combo out of nowhere. Glacial Quake eating a ton of damage while it zooms around killing everyone. Getting frozen for 5 seconds by a Revenant spamming Withering Blade and/or their Dodge. How all the Stasis Supers laugh at all Light Supers save a few exceptions.

Because at this point, how do you even balance Stasis? I feel like the way it's designed, the line between OP like Revenant and Behemoth, and trash like current Shadebinder, is "so very thin" as some Destiny characters would say. Why not just say screw it, and forget about Stasis in PvP altogether? It's not like our Guardians gained Stasis to use on other Guardians anyway.

When Amanda holiday find out who Crow is, please let it be in a cutscene.

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 03:54 AM PST

Title. I don't want it to be in lore text. It will ruin the anticipation and the excitement of characters finding out who Crow is. (or once was.) Reading it in a text will definitely ruin it for me.

Crow is a big character, and I really want it to be done right. But that's not my call to make. I simply have ask you bungie to bring it in a cutscene.

Pls nerf behemoth super, sincerely a Titan main

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 05:23 PM PST

I should not be able to proc my super, rez my garbage teammates, go shopping for an hour, walk a across the map, tank a shot from a tank, proceed to elimate 50 guardians and still have half my super left.

I feel like I'm unstoppable when using it and I feel helpless while fighting it.

Behemoth doesnt have to.be aware when they pop.their super. Even when I vorpal.felwinter melee him, he just proceeds to freeze me with his super activation.

I'm not that much of a pvp player, but the only other class I would see being viable for me as an alternative would be any void one for the suppression grenade to counter other titans running stasis.

I like the subclass, i love the mobility, but the super just doesn't feel fair.

can we get a small thin health bar above friendly players' heads?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 09:30 AM PST

I think it would be really nice for those that run a healing build, like lumina or middle tree dawn or even aeon exotics. it would also help in high end pvp because it would be easier to see the state of your teammates and jump in to help accordingly. doesn't have to be big, like enemy health bars. just a nice white line below their SP level that drains as they die.

[PC] BUG: Several areas crash the game just by entering them (Outskirts on EDZ, Archer's Line on the Moon, Jetsam of Saturn on the Tangled Shore)

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 02:19 PM PST

So a clanmate asked me if I was having problems crashing. I told him no, but he said everytime he goes left on the moon (from Sactuary to Archers Line) he crashes. So I gave it a try and sure enough I crashed. Did the same thing on EDZ when going from Trosland to Outskirts. I know there's a bug with the Broodhold strike that causes the host to crash with a few seconds, and apparently it's not just the strike, it's anytime you enter the Jetsam of Saturn

I don't have a video for the moon or edz crashes, but they seem to crash consistently within a few seconds of entering the zone, so it's not hard to replicate.

For whatever reason it's with areas that are left of the main landing zone, not sure if there are any others.

Bring back “Shoot to Loot” as an armor mod

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 04:54 PM PST

Sunday Plz - Add Trials of The Nine Loot/Weapons into the Prophecy Dungeon

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 01:15 AM PST

    Greetings Guardians!

Ever since the conception of this sub, we've dealt with floods of reposts. We're sure you're familiar with them. Many are for important issues that are shared by the entire player base, while others are just for personal requests and desires for the game. The Bungie Plz was shortly implemented after conception as a central "wish-list" for all that we, the community, desired. It is completely user driven. With rare exceptions, nearly all submissions are sent in by you, the users of this subreddit!

However, just like Destiny 2, our wiki article began to experience problems as it grew over time. It's been getting just a few sizes too big. We understand that the continued addition of topics has begun to encroach on your ability to continue the conversation towards matters that mean the most to you, and even though the Bungie Plz has seen so many successes over the years, with well over 100 officially implemented game suggestions and desires, there's still dozens upon dozens of retired topics that haven't seen the light of day for many months...even years!

Every Sunday, this thread will focus on a certain retired Bungie Plz topic of your choosing, voted by the users. We will curate a list of 5 suggestions to help focus your voting process, but you get the final say on what is talked about each week. By all means, if one topic is overwhelmingly desired despite not being part of those 5 items we picked, then we'll be happy to go with that one. Our curated list is only to help you focus the conversation. The only stipulation is that the topic must be new every week. This thread is for the entirety of the Bungie Plz wiki, so no back-to-back voting!

Think of these threads as a way to keep the spark alive, and to bring old topics up to fresh light. For example, do we still want to move Queenbreaker to the special slot? Or does Arbalest serve that purpose well enough now? Do we still want an all-black shader, or do we want a character barbershop more?

You tell us! This is your conversation, guardians.

For this week, you voted on:

Add Trials of The Nine Loot/Weapons into the Prophecy Dungeon

For next week, here are some suggestions:

    • Add a Crucible mode without Heavy and/or Supers
    • Make Warlock bonds more cosmetically distinct and appealing
    • Separate the melee and the melee ability button
    • Display Light Level/Power Level instead of season pass rank
    • Give Shaders unlimited use/non-consumable

Sound off in the sticky comment for which one sounds good (just give us a moment to put it up), or anything else in the Bungie Plz wiki that catches your eye, and we'll do our best to accommodate!

You can only reset your valor 4 times.

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 08:57 PM PST

After your fourth valor reset (and probably infamy too), the tier 3 powerful engram reward is removed, but the requirement to pick them up in order to reset is not. This makes it so that you cannot reset valor. https://imgur.com/a/7w30l55

How Destiny 2 trials lfg looks like rn.

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 03:53 AM PST

As someone who never before played Trials: holy shit the rewards suck!

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 04:51 AM PST

I mean come on Bungie. You get what, one token or two for a win, none for a loss, one or two per bounty and one guaranteed gun across all bounties.

    I mean... seriously??

Ironbanner at least has the decency to give you both 5 on a win and 3 on a loss as well as 4 bounties worth TWO HUNDRED tokens!

AND THE RANK UPGRADES COST THE SAME IN BOTH GAMEMODES?!

    What. The. Fuck.

There is literally no incentive to play trials if you aren't a peak PvP player and even then I would argue there isn't much incentive. The amount of loot you get even if you go flawless is a joke. You have to grind 20h over a weekend minimum to get the CHANCE at a roll or armour piece you want.

    That's just disgusting.

Don't avoid the first champion in Devil's Lair

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 08:54 AM PST

This weeks nightfall is Devil's Lair as you all probably know. The problem with the nightfall is that people often avoid the first champion or just ran past it but if they go too far from the champion into the strike and activate a new objective/checkpoint the multiplier in the area with the first champion drops to 0 and the champion (in my experience) doesn't count anymore so the rewards drop to gold even if you kill the champion after. (This happened to me 3 times and people need to be aware of the effects it has on the rewards) I get that some people want to beat the nightfall in the shortest time but the rewards are better the higher the amount of champions defeated. If you really want to have a short time do adept and save everybody the trouble or assemble a full fireteam and do whatever difficulty you want.

Disclaimer: This post is only for people who intentionally avoid the first champion, not everybody.

Edit: It isn't exclusive just to the first champion. It can happen on every champion.

Why is there no tracking for the Seasonal Challenges?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 12:35 PM PST

The tracking infrastructure is already in the game with Bounty and Quest tracking.

But why no Seasonal Weekly Challenge Trackers? Having to pop into the director to check progress is kinda bad.

Please make current season pass catalyst boosters work for previous exotics.

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 09:33 AM PST

I know this has been brought up before, but I feel like it needs more attention. I was very excited to get Witherhoard from the kiosk as I missed out (which was a surprising amount of resources to begin with), until I got slapped in the face with the 300 Filthy Lucre part to obtain the catalyst. And after that, I can only imagine it will be 400 activities to complete it, meaning I won't even get it done this season. It's an extremely punishing system for new/returning players.

It’s depressing how much wasted space is in the Tower

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 05:38 PM PST

Every now and then I'll waltz around the Tower and visit the rooms and hallways outside of the main attractions. Countless rooms and closet space with nothing except wall decorations and various pallets and trinkets lying around. I really wish that the Tower's space was utilized a bit more efficiently, but it would honestly take Bungie years to find uses for it all.

This game is honestly just so beautiful and it's nice to stop and smell the roses, so to speak, from time to time. I just wish there was more to actually do and see.

The enemy density in the latest Comosdrome Strikes and Battlegrounds has turned Riskrunner into an unstoppable monster

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 07:53 PM PST

There's gonna be that one Cabal that shoots Arc slugs. A radiolaria pool. Eliksni. All it takes is one shot-

And you will fry dozens in the span of two seconds. The overload SMG mod allows Riskrunner to have its place in the endgame meta and the current introduction of enemy density makes it a godsend. I keep running out of ammunition because I literally never stop shooting and I just keep wanting to go right back in because it's addictive as fuck to get a 30-second plus stream of electric death going.

If you're not using Riskrunner right now, you're making a mistake. Let the electrons sing.

Can we have a knockout system for bright engrams?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 08:41 PM PST

Getting the same legendary sparrow and ghost back to back is tiresome and not rewarding. Also if you already have an item that can be pulled from the equipment tab, you should get bright dust for it.

Bungie, can we get confirmation on whether the droprate of Bottom Dollar is very low or if its bugged?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 02:20 PM PST

I have just completed my 50th Gambit match (47 of which I solo queued) with no sign of Bottom Dollar.

I ran Gambit Prosperity for a chance at a bonus legendary drop the entire time (28 wins)

As you can see in this clip, I have gotten 1927 motes banked this season, with an average of 38 motes per match. Which comes to 50.7 matches.

I have also seen plenty of other people's posts and comments expressing similar findings, so I dont believe its simply having bad RNG. The drought stories of not getting it heavily outweigh the success stories of getting it in a couple drops.

On a weapon with such a large perk pool, you would think that the drop rate of a Gambit weapon should be reasonable, such as Stars in Shadow last season.

Any comment regarding this would be greatly appreciated!

I'm still baffled by Eris/Drifter ever being on Europa

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 09:32 AM PST

It still just doesn't make sense how they showed up in one cutscene, were there for approximately 5 minutes, and then left.

Was this just a dropped thread? I was really expecting the "Darkness Vanguard" to play a bigger role.
