    Daily Vanguard Modifiers

    • Void Singe: Void damage increases slightly from all sources.
    • Stasis Singe: Stasis damage increases slightly from all sources.
    • Grounded: Damage taken while you are airborne is greatly increased.

    • Shocker: When defeated, Goblins spawn Arc pools that causes damage over time.

    Greetings Guardians!

    Ever since the conception of this sub, we've dealt with floods of reposts. We're sure you're familiar with them. Many are for important issues that are shared by the entire player base, while others are just for personal requests and desires for the game. The Bungie Plz was shortly implemented after conception as a central "wish-list" for all that we, the community, desired. It is completely user driven. With rare exceptions, nearly all submissions are sent in by you, the users of this subreddit!

    However, just like Destiny 2, our wiki article began to experience problems as it grew over time. It's been getting just a few sizes too big. We understand that the continued addition of topics has begun to encroach on your ability to continue the conversation towards matters that mean the most to you, and even though the Bungie Plz has seen so many successes over the years, with well over 100 officially implemented game suggestions and desires, there's still dozens upon dozens of retired topics that haven't seen the light of day for many months...even years!


    Every Sunday, this thread will focus on a certain retired Bungie Plz topic of your choosing, voted by the users. We will curate a list of 5 suggestions to help focus your voting process, but you get the final say on what is talked about each week. By all means, if one topic is overwhelmingly desired despite not being part of those 5 items we picked, then we'll be happy to go with that one. Our curated list is only to help you focus the conversation. The only stipulation is that the topic must be new every week. This thread is for the entirety of the Bungie Plz wiki, so no back-to-back voting!

    Think of these threads as a way to keep the spark alive, and to bring old topics up to fresh light. For example, do we still want to move Queenbreaker to the special slot? Or does Arbalest serve that purpose well enough now? Do we still want an all-black shader, or do we want to bring back Prismatic Matrix?

    If you could un-nerf your favorite weapon?

    I've asked this question to my mates, but I'd love to hear more opinions.

    So, if you could un-nerf any gun and have it in it's prime status again. What would it be and why? This could be for pvp and pve. Mine would be Whisper of the Worm. The infinite ammo, the look, the sound and let's not forget that EPIC mission.

    It doesn't necessarily need to be un-nerfed. It could also be un-sunset. If you have favourite weapon now, you can share that as well. Let's go with un-nerf or un-sunset anything. Supers, abilities, exotics ect.

    Rally Barricade should automatically reload your weapon when you pop it, alongside the reload boost you get

    I think this would 100% make it Rally Barricade worth using again

    And for people worried that this would just be better Marksman Dodge, remember that Hunters have a shorter class ability cool down and they could make it so it doesn't act as a "true" reload, aka it won't activate perks like Kill Clip (though I wouldn't mind if it did)

    Are class armor items basically pointless with the addition of transmog?

    Other armor comes with different stats that incentivizes you to always be looking for something better than what you have now. Class items have no stats by default unless you masterwork and/or throw in a stat mod. In the past you their appearance mattered and you had to find one you liked and then add stats to it so you could get the look you wanted.

    Now with transmog, I've been using the same Cystocrene Cloak on my hunter forever. I masterworked it and added a bunch of mods, and now use transmog to alternate between ornaments I like. I didn't even realize I was still using a Cystocrene, which I actually hate the look of, until recently. I thought about swapping and realized that would require me to masterwork a new one for zero benefit — only the name of the equipped item would change.

    This seems weird to me! What's the incentive to ever change from the cloak or other class armors I'm using now? There's no good reason I can see other than different mod loadouts, which aren't even expensive to change on the fly unless you need a different element affinity. Am I missing something?

    Its just weird and kinda turned me off to sherpaing in general. I'll host a room, some newbies will join along some veterans. A veteran will then proceed to talk over me and take over as sherpa. Its happened more than just a few times.. Why not just start their own sherpa lobby at that point?

    Elemental Charges do not get reset when joining allies. Every other buff in the game does. It'd be great if we didn't have to lose buffs / weapon effects every time we're forced to join allies

    I know people have posted about this countless times before, but it bears repeating: Bungie should make Clash a permanent playlist for players who do not enjoy or excel at playing objective game modes.

    Even if some of them are sweaty, I have noticed that fewer Clash matches end due to the mercy rule than they do in Control. And if the player population is too low, Bungie could at least merge Control and Clash into one playlist.

    The Marble Boar - Exotic Sidearm (3D Art)

    The Marble Boar

     

    The idea behind this weapon was to create a sidearm that could tank a shotgun and give you a fighting chance in close quarters. It's exotic perk grants a brief, and relatively weak overshield when swapping to the weapon, which, in theory, would leave you at low health from a direct shotgun blast. The overshield only lasts maybe a second or fraction of a second so you can't run around with it and the range of the weapon is very low, essentially shotgun range, to prevent you becoming a long range, shielded menace. To play into the quick draw nature of the perk, it's handling is super high and is full auto (that aspect is more so for me though, because full auto sidearms are really fun to use). As a reward for surviving an encounter, if you kill the attacker while the shield is active you get a reload from reserves which helps you move on to the next engagement, but also requires you to put the gun away if you want to get the overshield again. You always have about a ten second cool down between overshield activation.

     

    Perks:

    Polygonal Rifling: Barrel optimized for recoil reduction. (Increases stability)

    Polymer Grip: This weapon's grip is made of lighter material (increases handling speed)

    Next in line: Kills while shielded reload the magazine from reserves.

    Full Auto Trigger System: Holding down the trigger will fire this weapon at full auto.

    Editing in a bit of a revision.

    After getting a lot more eyes on the idea today, I'm going to edit the perk to hopefully be a bit more user friendly. Changes are as follows:

    • The intrinsic perk 'Better To Be Lucky' will now read 'Swapping to this weapon grants a temporary overshield and grants Impervious.'

    • The 'Next in Line' perk will read 'Kills while Impervious reload the magazine from reserves.'

    This change stems from the realization that since the overshield is meant to be lost (in order to survive the initial shotgun/attack), 'Next in line' will most likely never trigger in its current state. Thus, 'Impervious' will be a 3ish second timed buff to provide that window for the perk to proc, while still allowing the intrinsic perk to work as intended.

    The overshield is no longer 'weak', and will have enough health for the user to theoretically survive both a shotgun blast and punch, depending on the perks/archetype of the shotgun. The follow up punch is a real danger to the plausibility of this idea and I want to fix it in a way that makes sense but doesnt make the gun over powered. Without specific numbers, the idea is that the initial shotgun would entirely consume the overshield and some portion of health (again, depending on damage perks, archetype, etc.) Any follow up would then be digging into health, so it's feasible that something like a shotgun with rampage active + a charged melee could still kill you, but in most scenarios you'll be surviving with the smallest bit of health from a shotgun/melee combo. Two shotgun blasts will always kill you.

     

    Since some asked, my catalyst idea would be somewhere along the lines of 'Kills while Impervious begin health regeneration.' Nothing crazy, but just something to help aid in user survivability.

    Timelost weapons should still drop if you’ve done normal VOG already during the week.

    Recently I've been frustrated by the shared loot lockouts from Master and Normal VOG. I like to help people in my clan do VOG on normal but I haven't been as willing to help people because I don't want to override my master loot. Maybe Bungie is worried about giving too many pinnacles if the loot was separate but I say just make the loot powerful on the second run if you do a normal and then a master clear. At the minimum, I would like for the timelost weapon to still drop from master if you have already done a normal run that week. I can live with missing some higher stat armor but missing out on multiple timelost weapons for the week feels too punishing. Yes I know you can purchase the weapons weapons with spoils but that's besides the point. Something needs to be done about the shared loot drops, especially when GMs exist and those can be infinitely farmed. Maybe make it so you can farm timelost weapons from the challenge encounter?

    I'm not sure of the best answer but I would like something to change. What are y'all's thoughts on this? Do you agree? Do you have a better suggestion? I wanted to open up the conversation! Cheers!

    Didn't know it was a thing, but I just repeatedly bought the linear fusion scavenger mod from ada 1 today and got rid of my 6000+ mod components, obviously saved a couple hundred, but those stacks were just taking up inventory.
