The season pass should be tailored for after rank 100 to award past cosmetics you may have missed first, then bright engrams

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 04:01 PM PDT

    Title

once you've finished your pass for the season pass there really isn't any reason to grind bounties or generally play beyond optional perfered activities (ie general pvp) or pinnacle activities till your hard cap. I think it'd be more appealing to most players if the pass was a little more tailored and offered missed emotes and cosmetics from past seasons once you hit 100, or even extra rolls on weapons from the current/past nonsunset seasons

I would like to see Bungie Devs stream their GM runs

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 03:01 PM PDT

Infamy has no right to be that stingy given the state of the game mode

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 10:17 AM PDT

Or as a minimum dont include the necessary wins for the final rank! Kind of following on a Paul Tassi article about the economy of MW mats, infamy is unreasonably scarce. Encourage ppl to play the game mode by actually rewarding with these ranks. The maths that Tassi used in the article proves the point on how absurd the situation has become. Not saying it should be as rewarding as valour or glory which I feel is showered on us in comparison, but it feels soooooo stingy rn. I don't just want to play gambit when there's adept weapons elsewhere lmao 😂 bottom dollar do be nice tho

Bungie: if champions are never leaving, then please force new lights to complete a champion mod tutorial before they can play champion-related events.

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 03:56 AM PDT

I am sick and tired of being thrown into groups where players completely fail to understand the importance of these mods/weapons and their uses, and most of the time it isn't even their fault, it's the obscure method of finding out how to equip and use anti-champion mods that drags down seasonal events and nightfalls.

to be clear: I CAN bring the mods myself with a functioning build, but it takes away the fun when I have to escort random players through mechanics YOU failed to teach them.

It can be as simple as having a new light mission bringing the player into a lost sector with the boss replaced by 1 champion. give them a temporary mod that breaks after the tutorial, but forces the player to use it in order to finish (such as fighting an overload champion, as they are the hardest to kill without the mod.)

this addition would improve a great deal of future events, and more-over improve the learning curve for new lights.

Please, for the love of god, fix teleporting enemies.

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 12:19 PM PDT

TL;DR: Enemies teleporting bad, not always bad, but most of the time, please patch because it makes the game unplayable at times

I don't know why it happens, but it does. Enemies teleporting around. It happens in Strikes, Gambit, Raids and in Presage (from what I can confidently recall).

This (most of the time) isn't inherently awful or game-breaking. I don't care if a Dreg or a Goblin teleport a bit and I miss a shot or two that should have landed. I don't care of some enemies in DSC teleport and I miss a melee or two.

What I do care about though, is a Minotaur in gambit first tping behind me and then tping back in front of me after I turn around and then killing me, causing me to lose 10 Motes. What I do care about, is the Presage Boss tping towards me from literally across the fucking boss room, causing my rocket to explode way nearer than I anticipated, killing me and thus wiping me. What i do care about, is Champions in Strikes teleporting (looking at you The Arm's Dealer), not only causing me to miss a shot, but more than once as a result causing a team wipe.

I have no idea how severe this issue is and I don't really know why I am even complaining about this here. But what it does, it ruin the game. It makes it feel like an unpolished Indie-Title instead of the ambitious AAA-title that it is. This has genuinely caused me to reconsider my choice of continuing to play this game. It just has stopped being fun at moments, where it should be at its peak.

The Land Tank Moving. How Bungie pulled off the epic views that take place during the new strike

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 01:19 PM PDT

Hey everyone! Was curious myself when playing the new strike how Bungie pulled off the effect of the land tank moving. Wires shake as you progress through the level, tank treads grind dust and Nessus trees flyby as you fight the final boss. Here is an image of the trees from the outside if you are curious what it looks like!

    https://imgur.com/a/19hX1d7

    Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSxkpcj9MUw

I really enjoy game design so figured id make a video about these Land Tank secrets and share with those who might've never came across the answer themselves. Hope you enjoyed. Have a great day!

I don’t think Bungie got enough credit for Freelance IB matchmaking changes last week.

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 07:23 PM PDT

Freelance IB playlist was magical last week. The games were hard, but fair. Fewer blowouts, fewer bad matchups, lots of fun. I logged back in several times after I had completed the bounties. I haven't had that much fun in IB, or any PVP playlist really, in a long, long time.

Great job Bungie, and thanks. I hope this change will port over well to the other playlists.

Dear Bungie, if you are going to have ludicrously low drop rates for exotic ornaments in the seasonal engram, can you at least protect it to most played class

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 09:15 PM PDT

Warlock depression sets in when my dusty Titan or Hunter get a new ornament they will never wear...especially since it's the only exotic I have received all season in the Eververse engrams.

Thanks for all the bright dust tho, loving those changes.

A possible way to get more people into Trials

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 05:57 PM PDT

I believe the 3 win bounty reward is a step in the right direction to help with those who aren't that good in Trials, as seen with Igneous and Messenger causing a significant spike in player activity for Trials when they were the 3 win reward. This shows that people do want to get Trials rewards, however I believe in introducing a new passage that could potentially bring even more people in. I would like to call this passage the

    PASSAGE OF PERSEVERANCE

In this passage, you won't be penalized for losing matches and only wins will be tracked, so you don't have to worry about the 3-4 loss limit. However to balance this, passage would only allow you to get up the 5 win reward and possibly making it a little more expensive than other passages (maybe 35,000 glimmer and 30 legendary shards due to the forgiving nature of this passage). So competing until you have 5 wins, you'll be guaranteed at least half the rewards for the weekend, leaving the other half for those who really want to push themselves for the 7 and flawless rewards.

I believe that having this passage would promote more consistent engagement with this activity and possibly encourage people to try using the Mercy passage to try for the 7 or flawless rewards.

What is your least favorite Miniboss encounter, and why is it the 3 shielded Wyverns in Battleground: Oracle?

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 01:16 PM PDT

I generally really like the Battleground activities, but honestly this encounter is such a drag. It's not a fun challenge, it's not a fun firefight.

Is there a different encounter that really makes you sigh as it starts?

It really is kind of ridiculous that you can farm GM's all day and be showered with Ascendant Shards, but resetting your Valor or Infamy gets you ONE shard, ONCE PER SEASON.

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 10:45 AM PDT

When I first saw the new rank up system for Crucible and Gambit I was pretty excited because I assumed that you get a shard for every reset, but lo and behold, it's just a one time thing. The upgrade economy just seems so arbitrarily stingy and out of whack right now. You can spend a day farming GM's and have a post master full of shards, or you can spend multiple weeks grinding Gambit and get... one single shard... Only once...

I'm not saying that shards should just be handed out like candy--I respect that you have to put the work in. But I'd say that a full reset is "putting the work in," especially when it comes to Infamy.

I would rather Bungie update old exotic armor than release new ones

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 09:06 PM PDT

Maybe it's just me, but Eternal Warrior could have the perk given to Cuirass of the Falling Star as well as it's main perk. Does anybody use Eternal Warrior? Another example would be giving Chromatic Fire the Mantle of Battle Harmony perk as well as the perk it has now. I love new content, but when I think exotic armor I think Celestial Nighthawk, Crown of Tempests, and Synthoceps to name a few. Exotics should be game changers not hey that's a cool idea, but I'll never use it.

I'm not sure if it's random or bungie is intending to do it, but thank you for giving players an incentive to run Trials of Osiris these last few weeks.

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 10:49 AM PDT

If you haven't checked already, one of this weeks' challenges is "win 7 rounds in Trials of Osiris," granting Bright Dust, 4x XP, and "Trials of Osiris weapon" upon completion.

With Igneous Hammer and The Messenger as the 3 win rewards for the past two weeks, trials population increased and many people reported these weeks being the healthiest yet for Trials. I hope Bungie keeps at it with this system until a dedicated Trials rework is released!

    Deathbringer in Proving Grounds GM

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 10:04 PM PDT

One of my teammates ran the Deathrbinger with Mantle of Battle Harmony & Nova Bomb in the GM, and it absolutely ripped through everything. Sounds troll at first, but given the enemy density and lethality of stepping out of cover, it worked remarkebly well - both for add clear & for bursting champions and the tanks. He'd also get his super back quick with Mantle (Skull of Dire Ahamkara may be better but he ran Mantle so YMMV).

Not saying it's better than something like Anarchy, but it's pretty cool that something as obscure as Deathbringer can be legitimately brought into a GM.

Just finished the GM legitimately. Here is a long post about some tips.

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 07:23 PM PDT

We ran 2 Middle-Tree Sentinels with Ursa Furiosa and a Bottom-Tree Nightstalker with Sixth Coyote (haven't tested it with Omnioculus, but I could imagine it achieving the same results). We used the Nightstalker as the person to get revives for our teammates. I ran Izanagi with an RPG with Lasting Impression. My friends ran Anarchy and Two-Tailed Fox. We also ran some Charged with Light mods as well as the artifact mod "Sundering Glare". You can adjust your mods to appropriately fit the situation. You CAN run Warmind Cell mods if you'd like, but I feel like Charged with Light has more benefits and is a lot easier to activate.

Some tips running the GM. In the first encounter, go to the right area to kill the Unstoppable Champion. After that, carefully send one person to kill all the turrets. The other two people can deal with the Anti-Barrier that spawns in. Clear all the ads. Wait for the boss to spawn in, deal with the boss, Unstoppable, and ads carefully. Once its shield is up, I used a Honed Edge shot and a grenade to get rid of the barrier. After that, kill the Boss and the ads then move on.

There will be a couple of enemies before the tank room, they should be easy to kill.

Once you reach the tank room, DO NOT DROP DOWN!!! Deal with some of the ads and then drop down. After you drop, go to the right close corner (because there is slightly more cover there) and take out the Psions on each platform. While that's happening, have your two Sentinel Titans chain supers. Boring? Yes, but it gets the job done really well. We used Two-Tailed Fox to easily kill the vehicles Psions down below us. Keep chaining the supers until ads are cleared. Be aware of the dogs that spawn in as well. Once you kill all the vehicle Psions, the Yellow bar Psion, Anti-Barrier Champions, and the adds the tank phase will start. Once again, have one person prioritize the Psion snipers. After that, apply Sundering Glare onto one of the legs of the tank and melt it ASAP. Do the same thing for the other tank and take care of the adds. When both tanks are dead, you have a lot more breathing room to take care of the rest of the enemies. Deal with them accordingly.

Be careful of the next couple of ads.

Deal with all enemies and move into the room to kill the rest of them CAREFULLY. PRIORITIZE THE PSION SNIPERS. Don't grab the ball just yet. Open the door to bait out the Gladiators and deal with them on a separate platform. After that's done, have one person take care of both turrets to your left and have a Sentinel block incoming fire from the ads. Do the same thing for the other side. Once both balls are dunked. Be prepared for both an Unstoppable and an Anti-Barrier along with some ads. Ursa Furiosa Titan's really come in clutch here!! Make sure to deal with all the ads carefully. Make sure you have as much ammo as possible before going up.

Once you're in the boss room, I suggest waiting until at least one Titan has their super. This is to allow us to easily chain supers. Everyone goes to the back and have one Titan IMMEDIATELY pop their super to block the fireballs the boss shoots out. DON'T SHOOT DOWN THE FIREBALLS IF THE TITAN IS BLOCKING, this is to help regenerate super energy. Only shoot if the Titan DOES NOT have their super. Be careful of the ads shortly after you start the boss fight. After you get the boss two about 2/3 of her health, 2 Unstoppables will spawn. Kill that champion ASAP, but make sure your Titan is still blocking the fireballs with a super. Rotate to the other side if the 2nd Unstoppable gets too close for comfort. Once both Unstoppables champions are down, have the person with Izanagi go invisible and shoot a Honed Edge shot into the barrier cell. That one shot should be enough, if not throw a grenade. After that, keep chaining Sentinel supers to block the fireballs and kill the ads. HOWEVER, the boss will become somewhat more aggressive, so rotate to the other side when necessary. After you get the boss to 1/3 of her health, IMMEDIATELY go to the entrance of the room to deal with the Unstoppables at a safe distance. The fireballs should not track you since she is on the opposite side of the room. Once both Unstoppable champions are dead. Have the person with Izanagi go invisible near the barrier and unload a Honed Edge shot and a grenade onto the barrier cells. Finally, deal with the boss and ads carefully. Have one of the Titans distract the boss and rotate around the room if necessary. Use everything you have on the boss once all the ads are dead.

This is the way I beat the GM Nightfall this week. Overall, this Nightfall is very difficult compared to Arms Dealer and Devil's Lair. The tank and boss room are definitely the most difficult part of the GM.

Hope this helps!!! Feel free to leave advice for others.

Would people be interested in a n00bs Solo Prophecy guide?

Sure I've sunk a lot of hours into the game. But it doesn't mean I'm S tier. I'm not a streamer. I'm not good at utilizing my mods and builds to the best degree. But dammit I figured out a method to solo flawless prophecy that works for a guy like myself. Would anyone else care to know?

A follow up to my last post. Pay close attention. Solo Flawless Prophecy for all you n00bs out there.

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 08:51 PM PDT

Edit: For those wondering, no I don't have Anarchy. So this is how I worked around that. Hopefully it helps you guys too!!

The post for the 20 people who upvoted

Alright Guardians. Here's a quick rundown of what got me and my sorry ass a solo flawless prophecy.

Pay close attention! This guide assumes you're like me and know the encounters down to a science yet for some ungodly known reason just can't seem to execute. Typically my struggles were at Kell Echo but we'll get to that.

The hardest part of this strat is hoping that you played during Season of Arrivals and obtained Witherhoard. While not necessary it was absolutely a game changer especially with the catalyst. Everything else is currently obtainable, albeit something's are harder to get than others. Here we go.

This was all done on an Attunement of Hunger Warlock with Vortex Grenades (man I miss Oppressive Darkness)

Scavenger and Finder Mods are great. You'll figure it out.

    What you need

    Weapons: •Witherhoard (with Catalyst)

    •IKELOS SMG

    •Falling Guillotine

    •Trinity Ghoul (with catalyst)

•Any (preferably slug) kinetic shotgun (Personally I used Heritage)

    •The Lament

    •Salvagers Salvo

•Any kinetic bow with Sympathetic Arsenal (Whispering slab. Not sure if others can roll with it)

A bit of a shopping list but it made for a smooth run.

    Exotic Armor

Honestly, this one seems to be a matter of preference. I personally loved the Transversive Steps simply for how mobile my play style is, it kept me in the fight and my reloads to a minimum.

    Mods

For my homies out there who didn't suffer through Season of the Worthy and have next to no Warmind Cell Mods, you're in luck, because while Cells come into play, I used almost no mods to augment them

    Cell Mods

    •Global Reach

    •Burning Cells (optional)

    Charged with Light Mods

    •Protective Light

    •Taking Charge

    •Stacks on Stacks (optional)

All these mods will be what you have equipped for the entirety of the Dungeon, so bear this in mind as I talk out the encounters

For weapon mods, Taken Spec is awesome, but if it isn't in your inventory, fret not. Minor and Major Spec can both come in handy without conflicting with eachother.

An honorable mention is the fact that given your reliance on swords for this run, Passive Guard is active this season and helpful, but not entirely necessary. That said, this is a build entirely based on survivability. So if you've got room for it, knock yourself out. And on top of the couple mods listed, having others won't make or break your run. This is just what did it for me.

Alright alright alright, let's see what we got.

    Beginning/Phalanx Echo

    Weapons:

    •Witherhoard

    •IKELOS SMG (Taken/Minor Spec)

    •Falling Guillotine (Taken/Boss Spec)

A quick aside for those who don't know: With WH and IKELOS SMG equipped, if you shoot WH and then equip the SMG, there is a chance that the WH kill will drop Warmind Cells. Best to make use of this.

One thing to keep in mind is that Witherhoard is absolutely your best friend. It's versatile, in that it can shred the Thrall as well as OHK Knights. However it's Damage over Time (DOT). And this is where you utilize the delayed kill. Need Light motes but you can't get a shot to take him out? Hit him with Witherhoard (WH), run to the desired Light/Dark area and he'll drop what you need. This principle comes in handy throughout the entire dungeon.

So, in the beginning, do your thing, dunk your four sets of Motes and proceed to the Phalanx.

It's easy to get overwhelmed but eh. You'll survive. I believe in you. The key is to constantly keep Devour procced and drop WH every chance you get. Position yourself so you can take cover and let the Psions have to come to you. That's when you shoot WH to both sides of yourself and keep the kills/devour/cells coming. See a Cell? Shoot it. You're not trying to kill Knights or Phalanx. With zero (0) Cell mods, an explosion OHK's the Psions. From there, hit your Knights with WH and make sure the appropriate Motes drop. Be sure to keep your awareness up as going from point A to point B, it's easy to get blown the fuck away trying to dunk. Just be careful bois.

On damage phase, go fucking bananas. WH, Guillotine, Nova Bomb if you please (or save it for an "oh shit" button. It procs Devour too yknow!) just keep laying on the damage. Don't be afraid to switch to WH and either hit Phalanx or the Goblins. There were times I got lucky and One Phases but this method will consistently Two Phase. Don't be afraid, it ain't so bad.

Oh he's dead? Cool! On to the Wasteland.

    Wasteland

•Any Kinetic, it isn't too important.

    •Trinity Ghoul (TG)

    •Guillotine

This place is self explanatory. Just keep your distance, watch the Lightning flow from TG and keep your Guillotine handy in case someone gets too close for comfort. Remember to pick up Orbs of Power and keep devour up!

Hexahedron(?) whatever. The scary cube room. I'm very tired

•Your kinetic shotgun (Once again, Heritage for myself) [Taken/Major Spec]

    •Trinity Ghoul (TG)

•Guillotine (Taken/Major/Minor Spec) [This one is used minimally, it's more of a panic/ movement button]

This room while not too awful hard, is nerve wracking just given how many rotations you have to go through before you get to the boss room.

TG is most excellent. I used to think Riskrunner was the move but my third eye is truly opened. Use Trinity. It's very versatile here. Acolytes? Shoot em up. Hobgoblins up top? Boom. Two shots them (although with Lightning Rod procced you can sometimes one shot them. However it's pretty inconsistent.)

Best to clear the ads best you can before knocking out the Knights. A slug shotty can two shot them and Guillotine can OHK with the Heavy attack. Sometimes it's annoying to herd them where you need them for proper Motes, but it wasn't a huge issue. Worst case just take pot shots with TG.

    Rinse and Repeat X6

Boss room is honestly the easy part. Shoot the axiom darts, don't let yourself get overwhelmed fucking keep Devour procced

If possible, try to bring them down close to, if not the same exact time. Ads spawn after the first one dies, and honestly they're just dumb.

Nova bomb, shotgun or sword if you're brave, TG if you're brave then you ju— oh they're dead? Cool!!

    Wasteland 2 Electric Boogaloo

    lol

    Ribbon Road

This one is a bit more flexible for weapons. Just a bow, or a sniper, anything long range that you're comfortable with. I walked almost the entire thing. Slow and steady wins the race my friends.

A quick aside, throw on Salvagers Salvo at the end of Ribbon Road and when you get moved to the pre-Boss room, hit those Thrall and watch this explosions go brrrrr

Kell Echo AKA a big mean asshole

This one will be broken down into two parts. Simply because I shuffle my Loadout between the Main Room and the Boss Room. Also, Scavenger and Finder Mods are your best friend. Here we go.

    Main Room

    •Witherhoard (WH)

    •IKELOS SMG (Taken/Minor Spec)

    •Guillotine (Taken/Boss Spec)

Cmon. You know the drill. Begin the encounter, WH everything in sight, and once you see that big Rasputin generated basketball, shoot it and clear the Psions. Hit your Knights with WH and get your Motes. On dunking, don't run. Just hang out and Heavy plus a couple Light attack the Ogre with Guillotine, it makes short work of them. Do your thing, stay alive and hey did I mention to keep Devour procced? Protective Light and Taking Charge are lovely buffers. Did that? Cool. Boss Time.

    Pre-Boss Room/Boss Room/Post Boss room

•Whispering Slab with Sympathetic Arsenal (Taken/Minor Spec)

•Salvagers Salvo with Demolitionist and Vorpal Weapon (Taken/Boss Spec)

    •The Lament

So, one thing to keep note of, is all this weapon switching will rank your ammo. This is why Finder/Scavenger mods are excellent. In the Main Room upon switching weapons before heading to the Boss Room, make sure to pick up all you can until you're comfortable. Hell, fight another wave of Psions to get some more if that helps.

Once you're good on ammo, head to the boss. Salvo the shit out of this guy as much you can. Nova Bomb once again is cool but I like it as a panic button. Salvo Salvo Salvo. It adds up over time trust me. Once Hobgoblins begin spawning, hit em with your Slab. It's crucial to have Taken/Minor spec because this will OHK them. With no mods, you will not be able to and that adds wrinkles if you're not careful. Utilize Sympathetic. Utilize Transversives. Utilize Demolitionist. Manually Reload Salvo as little as possible. It's a waste and you have all the tools. Hit Kell Echo as often as you can with Salvo but don't over extend yourself. Remember: Survive. Besides. Your moment is coming.

If you're brave, run Empowering Rift, but personally I like Healing for the survivability. Once he reaches the final platform, Lament the ever loving shit out of him. Bear in mind, This is risky and scary and requires good reaction time if it goes sideways. I've mostly been able to get through the final damage phase with Lament without him throwing his Darkness Blast and sending me God knows where.

However, on the off chance he decides to get cheeky, Stop Swording and stay calm. You will throw yourself off the edge and hate yourself and want to jump off the Tower. Missing damage is fine. Dying is not. Once he teleports away, switch to the first loadout, pick up any ammo you can find in the Boss Room and head back up to rinse and repeat.

This method usually netted me a 3/4 phase. All depends how it goes in your favor. Long? Yup. Safe? Absolutely.

And there you go. With little fanfare and a weird feeling of hope fulfilled, you've now earned your synthwave emblem for all to see. Any questions please feel free to DM or comment. Good luck Guardians, I believe in you!!!

    Petra/Harbringer poster follow-up

A few days ago I showed 'poster-like' rendition of two scenes: with some mad prince, and other, with dear kinderguardian; as /u/BloodprinceOZ/ suggested, to wrap subject up there should be also moment with Petra and Guardian doing the execution. To keep the format I matched second scene which I find equal in meaning - of the ending of Harbringer mission, when Crow finally accepts his own Destiny <roll credits!>. Angry, resigned, bitter, lost "I'd do anything for her once more", and finding purpose in life, dedicated, leaving past behind "I'm a Guardian". Guardian as executioner and a friend. Quotes are matched accordingly too to pair up with earlier work :) Unfortunately even though I tried to do as ambiguous Guardian as possible - to not force any class upon scene - I skewed it a bit toward hunter in the Petra's part.

Maybe it's not as neat, but drawing this still was fun. All in all, I felt really indebted after such warm reception and I'm feeling like doing this second part I'm paying back and making it even ;d

This time I am more prepared and I have wallpapers already done for you:
    https://postimg.cc/gallery/Lf9tX0c
I've seen other suggestions about wallpapers, but I'm not convinced if dark version would work, and I'd stay with this composition; cutting those pics would be complicated (as they were thought as a whole) and probably wouldn't paid back this well.
Hope you will like it :)

Tips for GM, No cheese, no banner shield, 30-ish minute clears, with a lot of consistency

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 10:13 PM PDT

I have been running a lot of GMs ever since s11

I am preatty sure I know What I am doing so Now I want To help players having issues in this strike

Let me start off by saying...

IMO This GM is one of the hardest execution wise, BUT it is Easier (considerably) than Both Glassway and Corrupted

    Now lets start the tips

34 minutes clear at average, we feel we can go faster at the start My team cleared this second try with the following strats:

1 stasis warlock •Spam turrets •freeze champions and enemies to control the pace of the fight • Use Ur ult for quick CC • More agressive-support type style

1 Invis hunter • Double invis melee • strategic rez • Easy finishers • Immunity phase boubles breaker • More agressive playstyle

1 phoenix warlock • The heart of the team • Nornally running anarchy allowing more passive play • Use super as often as necessery • "Keep them alive" mentality • "Dont die" mentality

Encounters: Only 2 since they are the hardest ones

    • Tank room: We have 2 izi players, they both shoot one of the back legs of the left tank as soon as it spawns, killing that leg. Then the three players destroy the 2 front legs, killing the left tank before anything has started shooting ur team. We proceded to move to the close right side of the map getting cover from the right tank. Once we kill the snipers, adds, and the left and middle colosus we kill the right tank (dogs are already dead), with this clean the rest of the adds

    • Boss room: The basics of this is rotation.

We start the fight by the far left side where the unstopable champ spawns, we kill the first fire ball attack, and while my team deals with boss dps, I get ready to freeze a couple of adds that are about to spawn on top of us

When the boss goes imune me and the other izi player ready our shot to Insta kill the unstopable champion that spaws close to us, while the other player tosses anarchy on the champ and starts shoot the fire balls, 2 of us rotate (izi players) to the other side by going throught the "oven" under the boss spawn, the anarchy player will juke and bait the unstopable champ around the oven while the other 2 atract fire ball agro (riskiest part)

The hunter with invis invades the boss imunity bouble once he stops doing his fireball attacks, and uses 2 4x izi shots, destroying it the immunity shield

I use my super to clear adds, we rotate to the front door we came from. Adds are down, dps+fireball manegment, once the final immunity phase starts I toss my turret to the left side so it freezes the left champion for a while, we bake as soon as possible the right champion, after clearing the first wave of the fire balls, then we kill the second champ while taking care of fireballs

The hunter kills the immunity thing the same way as before, and goes invis, when the boss reaches the middle, we are all in different spots of the map, the warlock with well is at the spawn door (he pops well), the hunter is in the far left corner, ( he pops thether as soon as the boss lands in the middle of the arena), I the shadebinder, me, is on the right back side tossing another turret to gaing 5% bonus damage on special and heavy weapons... we bake the boss as fast as possible with this set up, the well warlock may die here, he will have the most agro, If he dies the hunter goes invis and I bait the boss around the oven

The boss will die very shortly after

Thats it, we maneged to clear it 3 times today back to back!

    It worked very well

    DONT SLEEP ON STASIS TURRETS

Attrition is easily the worst modifier in the game

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 01:00 PM PDT

At 100 recovery, you don't regen for probably twice as long back to full hp. Considering the annoyances and random AOE damages that the Cabal put out, it's almost pointless to run anything but 3 warlocks on healing rifts.

Match Game has never been a problem and neither have other modifiers like blackout cause it forces you to pay attention and adapt to the situation with playing safer or coordinating who has what elements equipped. Attrition completely forces you into using healing abilities like rift and Well's Blessing nades. You can't play aggressive unless you know 100% a healing pool will drop and the vast majority of damage coming in master/GMs makes it utterly pointless to do anything but sit inside a healing rift/Well or go invisible forever with Omnioculus.

It is simply not fun. I don't enjoy modifiers that make activities feel even more unpleasant than they already are with the damage scaling and random deaths you can't explain (fucking rocks everywhere...)
