Posted: 17 Apr 2021 07:21 AM PDT Title. the new way to gather bright dust through the seasonal challenges is awesome and I love it but the actual prices for things via bright dust is kinda insane for the amount of dust we're getting. I understand the whole thing about not being able to buy everything with bright dust because business and all that so you don't need to tell me... but the fact that you get 4k bright dust for something you spent the past 10 weeks building up to and the multiplayer exotic remote on sale that week costs more than you get from a 10 week grind reward feels so off to me. I get multiplayer emotes are more work than single player but a full thousand bright dust more? just makes it feel like it was put there specifically to drain people's large dust rewards a week before an event (and just one week after it was put on sale for silver which is a super fast turnaround anecdotally. just kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I get that you want to sell the bug thing when people will be most likely to have the resources for it, I just don't see the necessity in having an emote, any emote, be over 2/3s the price of a full armor set. inb4 "don't like it, don't buy it" I didn't, but it doesn't stop the whole thing from feeling wierd to me. What do y'all think, am I off base here? Edit: I sink over a hundred dollars into this game every year, asking for an in game cosmetic system that actually feels like it rewards the hours and hours of time I put in this game feels reasonable to me. | Something I want just as bad as transmog: More guardian customization Posted: 17 Apr 2021 06:44 PM PDT Facial hair on guardians, the ability to change how old you look (default is the current look, then you can choose to look older if you want), scars, etc. I hate that we can't have facial hair. Like, there is no way the millions of guardians that wake up in the cosmodrome all shaved their faces clean. I want to look older like Osiris, or even like dark future Zavala (who was stated to have grown a beard in a lore tab). I know this isn't a priority due to characters not having many places where you can actually see the face, but I can't help but feel like my exo isn't really mine without a fancy high-class twirly moustache. | I don’t understand the PvP community and exotics Posted: 17 Apr 2021 05:23 PM PDT By my understanding, exotics are suppose to be the cream of the crop, the most powerful and unique weapons out there. So why is it when one threatens to break into the this god awfully stale meta of double legendary hand cannon+ shotgun some people lose their minds and say they need to be nerfed? Dead Man's Tale is able to compete with 120's and people are getting mad about this and think it's op? Bastion gets some marginal play and it gets nerfed? Do people really want to play with the same 4 weapons for all time? One of the big appeals of Destiny to me is the flashy and unique exotics you get to run around with. There are so many fun and powerful ones to use in PvE and then there is PvP with the same boring weapons being used for what feels like an eternity. With no flash, no heart, no originality. I half believe it's because the player base has Stockholm syndrome and thinks anything that can exist alongside 120s and shotguns is too unfamiliar to them now and they don't know how to react. I think we should give them a chance and let them breath some air into this corpse of a meta. Sorry if this was ranty, I just don't understand why some people are so reluctant to a change in this PvP meta sometimes. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 17 Apr 2021 08:50 AM PDT It feels very nice to take rocket launchers into end game Destiny content again. For the longest time, they were a complete non factor in the game. Having the choice in the heavy slot to use different kinds of weapons and still feel powerful feels amazing. I hope that Linear Fusions can see this kind of buff as well. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 17 Apr 2021 07:05 PM PDT I honestly never had any issue with legendary ornaments for popular guns or season pass weapons, if anything it provided new spins for fan favorite guns like Season of Dawn theme for Austringer or Ada-1's wrap for Hammerhead. They were pretty cheap too. I understand they had to go with sunsetting in effect, but now that's gone can we take another look on them? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 17 Apr 2021 01:46 PM PDT Shadowkeep dropped in October 1st 2019 and with a new system for armor called Armor 2.0. Players got a 2.0 copy of they Solstice of Heroes armor set where they could slot they glows purchased either with bright dust or REAL MONEY! Now in 2021, those sets have been sunset and they are still impossible to get with random rolls. Even more worse, if you deleted the 2.0 version, it's lost forever. You can't pull either version 1.0 or 2.0 of the armor. At first I thought this was to prevent a "fashion creep" as the 2019 SoH armor is arguably one of the best, but Bungie just made 2020 SoH armor into Universal Ornaments. Transmog is just around the corner, we still got no confirmation that transmog will allow for 2019 glows to work. It most likely won't, making the armor set the only way to show the glows. I need to remember everybody, some people paid real money for this and they deserve to wear the cosmetics they paid for without gameplay punishment. They are cosmetics after all. So I propose the following: make every 2019 SoH set into Universal Ornaments that automatically changes just like the 2020 SoH set. Give it to everyone that had at least one glow set. Bungie might think it's wrong because some people didn't buy all the glows, but it's better than no one being able to use the old glows in current content. [link] [comments] |

Never seen my 5/7 wins on trials, never seen the lighthouse. Usually I just jump on to smash out my dailies, do iron banner, etc.... the bare minimum to get my powerful and pinnacle, and if i feel like it force myself to reset rank once over the course of the season. but this time was different and i have no idea why. Plays just started making sense, my build worked rather than getting me killed, and most of all i am having fun I dont expect it to last, but i'm having a blast right now. I know PvP is in a weird place right now, but the crucible can't take moments like these away from us :D Edit: quick thanks to those who offered tips/advice. | Please buff waking vigil's base stats Posted: 17 Apr 2021 06:31 AM PDT As cool guy said wv is a shadow if its former self. It has the least effective range from the 140 archetype. Although its perk pool is very healthy it lacks base stats meaning that even with range perks it struggles to compete with a regular palindrome(without range perks/barells). Waking vigil is one of the best feeling hand cannons it is unfortunate that its held back by its terrible stats. To bring it to perspective a rangefinder and full range options waking vigil drops off at 33 meters, palindrome without any range perks also drops off at 33 meters. [link] [comments] |

Never wants to give quarter to fleeing enemy's, feels like his enemy's needs to be crushed 100%. Very war minded always wants to show off his strength.
