    Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

    The Blind Well should have a daily gun rotation like The Altar of Sorrow

    I've always found the Blind Well fun, but it lacks purpose after your first clear of the week.

    It's a simple change but it would reinvigorate player engagement with the activity and will provide more chances to target farm Dreaming City weapons.

    Warmind's Longevity is Completely Broken

    Last Wish & Garden of Salvation should both have Spoils Chests.

    Whilst the title is pretty much self-explanatory, I feel like the inclusion of Spoils Chests at the conclusion of these raids would encourage more runs respectively, since they both have some pretty potent loot (E.g. Nation of Beasts & Chattering Bone from LW, HC and Pulse from GoS).

    Great way to combat slide shotgunning in crucible

    Bungie should make it so that when you go to slide shotgun in crucible you drop your shotgun then get your entire inventory filled with edge transits until your game crashes.

    I hope that Clovis Bray still has a role to play in the story

    Clovis Bray is one of the most interesting characters Bungie has introduced to the series as of late.

    He stands out to me, because how normal he is when compared to the other antagonists we have faced. He is not a Hive God, or the emperor of a galaxy spanning empire vibing aboard a world eating ship. He doesnt even have access to paracausal powers.

    He is just a man. Albeit, one that achieved immortality by becoming a massive robot head, but still, he is just a man.

    And man is capable of sickening and terrifying atrocities if we give in to the worse demons of our nature, such as unchecked ambition and the justification of monstrous acts for the greater good.

    All of this is embodied by Clovis. He is an ugly reminder that despite the wonders of the Golden Age, Humanity is still Humanity, and theres a reason why the Darkness is interested in us.

    He is a relic of the past that survived the Collapse by sheer determination, and an enormous blood price and sacrifices that allowed the exo project to be successful ofcourse.

    If you havent read Clovis's journal that released with the Beyond Light's collectors edition, I highly suggest you do so. Its available in Ishtar Collective, and it rivals the Books of Sorrow imo in how good it is.

    So it is unfortunate to me that Clovis himself ended up having a pretty minor role on the expansion. I still remember how hyped everyone was about him possibly being the raid boss of Deepstone Crypt, but that was not to be.

    However, that means that Clovis still has the opportunity to play a significant role going forward, and theres ample wiggle room for potential storylines he can be a part of.

    There could be a season where Rasputin gets an Exo body, and Ana sees herself forced to asked Clovis for help with the procedure, since the exo production facilities are under his control. Those areas of Europa are empty, so a seasonal activity would fit there nicely.

    Another potential plot point is that Clovis could eventually build himself a full body and leave his confinement, since on the hallway leading up to him there are body parts on the floor and inside glass, which hints at this eventuality.

    If that happens, he could go to the Europa Pyramid and get access to Stasis, and then he becomes a serious antagonist. Maybe he even pulls a Calus and gets spirited away by the Darkness, to then return as a much more powerful entity.

    Just throwing some ideas out there, but I hope Bungie has something planned for him. It would be a waste to write such a good character and then do nothing with him.

    I feel like we don't talk enough about new perks and how well Bungie has been doing with that

    Basically the title. When you come to really think about it, the sheer amount of new and interesting perks we've got added into the game lately is kind of insane. And it's not just new filler perks, we've got some really amazing stuff.

    Season of Arrivals added stuff like Killing Wind, Iron Gaze and Iron Grip, Sympathetic Arsenal and Unrelenting. Those last 2 may not be amazing, but they are still here.

    Beyond Light, lacking in amount of loot as it was, had the inclusion of Chain Reaction, One For All, Surplus, Thresh, Wellspring and Dual Loader. And that's without going into Deep Stone Crypt perks like Recostruction.

    Season of the Chosen brought with it amazing stuff like Frenzy and Lasting Impression. Kickstart, Iron Reach, Bottomless Grief and Impulse Amplifier were also added in this season, though not as influential as the other two.

    And, now, with Splicer, we got more amazing stuff like Danger Zone, Heating Up and Tunnel Vission. Also, Cornered and Andrenaline Junkie, which while not as influential, still have their place in a lot of builds.

    That's 4 seasons in a row that saw with them A LOT of new, interesting and good perks. And that's without mentioning some returning stuff like Firefly (on Legendaries), Rewind Rounds for Vault of Glass weapons, or Reservoir Burst after my beautiful Loaded Question got sunset.

    I don't know, I just feel like this deserves a lot more praise than it has received from our side, the community's side. I barely played in Season of the Chosen, but when Arrivals came a few months later with new perks, I was all over this game. With Beyond Light we kinda tripped in that regard specifically, but when Chosen came and Beyond Light perks got added to more weapons, I was ecstatic, and was actually chasing weapons. And, you know, playing the game.

    Breach and Clear significantly reduces the overall risk by shortening the dungeon's two main boss fights.

    Phalanx Echo is a -very- comfortable one-phase on Warlock with Well, Witherhoard / GL, and Guillotine/Lament. I've seen easy Titan one-phases with Crown-Splitter too. The Phalanx mote phases are arguably the hardest hurdle to get over, so one-phases here are like gold dust.

    Kell Echo is a tight two-phase, or comfortable three-phase for most players with Witherhoard / Anarchy. The primary problem here is the first "dunk" of the starting room, but (relatively) smooth sailing following that.

    Breach and Clear is Oppressive Darkness' way cooler older brother. I really can't under-sell how good it is to get a consistent Phalanx one-phase to kick off every attempt.

    The sudden call to nerf breach GL in pvp.

    I don't understand all of a sudden we have these calls to nerf breach grenade launchers in pvp. I understand mountain top was a huge problem but the current crop of special GL still requires some level of skill and there are not readily as used as your Felwinter or Bastions.

    Please help me understand why the sudden hate again in pvp for anything that is not Handcannon/Shotgun/Sniper.

    Finding the Voltage of Stormtrance (& how quickly it would C̵h̵a̵r̵g̵e̵ destroy your phone)

    This is the 3rd Episode in my Destiny Physics series (the other's looked at Atheon's YEET FORCE, and Golden Gun temperature)

    In this one I wanted to figure out the exact Voltage (and current) of Stormtrance.

    The basic premise was to use Paschen's Law, which determines the Breakdown Voltage of a given material (i.e. when an arc of electricity will form), and find the maximum distance that a Stormcaller can bridge a gap between another guardian.

    The results were pretty crazy, but not so much as the previous episodes. 20.86 MV, and 134.34 Amps

    This is quite a bit less than Lightning which is 100+MV @ 30kA or so. However, this is because lightning is much briefer, and travels much farther. And despite these numbers, Stormtrance still transports more charge and more energy (because of its longer duration).

    All raid ghost shells should have the Seeker of Glory perk on them

    Currently, only the Leviathan Ghost Shell (Contender Shell) has the ability to show how many encounters you've done in a raid (Leviathan exclusively). I think it would be nice to have all raid ghost shells have this perk, so you could see how many encounters you've completed for that raid. Pretty bummed out that my DSC ghost shell doesn't have the cool tracker on it

    Is it just my connection, or is acquiring bounties via the Destiny App super buggy?

    Sometimes it seems to work fairly consistently, but lately, it's the spin icon goes on forever and the bounties are never acquired.

    I know it has all been sunset, but I still missed out on a lot of good weapons because I wasn't involved enough with the game to care or even know about God Rolls.

    I'd take the Menagerie back in a heartbeat. Play the thing, get the loot immediately. Such a simple concept...

    Why aren’t any of our seasonal quests account based

    Thinking about the stasis progression, and also the seasons since arrivals. Why are our seasonal quests character based? I don't want to do the same exact quest three times each week, especially when the fun primarily rests in story development. Arrivals was based around the week to week system like Presage and Harbinger, and seasons like Opulence and Dawn were not forced into doing three characters each week and were very fun!

    It's aggravating that Bungie apologized and said that quests would be account based after how draining Season of the Forge was in that regard and we're still doing the same song and dance.

    I really like Mithrax's interactions with the characters from the Last City

    I like them because he does not seek out any confrontations, but he handles them like a champ when they come. He's used Osiris's words against him, revealed to Saint his terrifying reputation among the elisksni, and called Lakshmi a hypocrite when she called him and Spider thieves. He's not aggressive or defensive about it. He's just shutting down self serving narratives. He has 100 skill in rhetoric, and I like it.

    Knucklehead Radar has one of the best looking ornaments in the game and I almost bought it. Then I realized I’d never use the exotic

    Bungie for the sake of capitalist gain, please give me a reason to spend money. Knucklehead Radar needs a serious buff and here is my idea for it.

    Slightly rework the OG perk it has currently but then add an additional PVE based perk.

    Upgraded Sensor Pack: Provides enhanced radar that stays up while aiming (removes the crouching requirements). Take significantly reduced damage from combatants (which means guardians aren't included) in your radars range. When critically wounded, radars range expands and you gain a boost to recovery.

    Now Knucklehead Radar is a defensive PVE exotic. Honestly there are many exotics that are suffering from "Year 1 syndrome" that desperately needs buffs. But this is just my suggestion

    Optimized Bounties For 2021/6/21

    Deer trivia: Unliked other, less civilized deer species, Sika deer are very polite when it comes to marking their territory. Instead of just wildly peeing on imaginary borders, they dig small latrines on the borders of their territory, and limit their peeing to just those spots.


    Step 1 - Wash your hooves hands.

    Step 2 - Pick up the following bounties. Remember, you can use the app!

    3. Play one-to-two matches of Gambit. (10-20 minutes)
    4. Fly to the EDZ, grab Devrim's bounties, then clear any two Public Events, at least one of which is Cabal. (10 minutes)

    Total Bounties Cleared: 22 Dailies

    Total Time: 45-65 minutes

    Bounties Per Minute: .4

    Rewards:

    • 132,000 XP (unmodified)
