Sunday Plz - Increase our Vault Space! (Again!)

    Posted: 04 Jul 2021 02:00 AM PDT

    Greetings Guardians!

Ever since the conception of this sub, we've dealt with floods of reposts. We're sure you're familiar with them. Many are for important issues that are shared by the entire player base, while others are just for personal requests and desires for the game. The Bungie Plz was shortly implemented after conception as a central "wish-list" for all that we, the community, desired. It is completely user driven. With rare exceptions, nearly all submissions are sent in by you, the users of this subreddit!

However, just like Destiny 2, our wiki article began to experience problems as it grew over time. It's been getting just a few sizes too big. We understand that the continued addition of topics has begun to encroach on your ability to continue the conversation towards matters that mean the most to you, and even though the Bungie Plz has seen so many successes over the years, with well over 100 officially implemented game suggestions and desires, there's still dozens upon dozens of retired topics that haven't seen the light of day for many months...even years!

Every Sunday, this thread will focus on a certain retired Bungie Plz topic of your choosing, voted by the users. We will curate a list of 5 suggestions to help focus your voting process, but you get the final say on what is talked about each week. By all means, if one topic is overwhelmingly desired despite not being part of those 5 items we picked, then we'll be happy to go with that one. Our curated list is only to help you focus the conversation. The only stipulation is that the topic must be new every week. This thread is for the entirety of the Bungie Plz wiki, so no back-to-back voting!

Think of these threads as a way to keep the spark alive, and to bring old topics up to fresh light. For example, do we still want to move Queenbreaker to the special slot? Or does Arbalest serve that purpose well enough now? Do we still want an all-black shader, or do we want to bring back Prismatic Matrix?

You tell us! This is your conversation, guardians.

For this week, you voted on:

    Increase our vault space...again please!

For next week, here are some suggestions:

    • Make Raid Banners show the Clan Banner of the Guardian who deploys them
    • An exotic that allows Sunbreaker Titans to summon their throwing hammer back to their hand
    • Kill Clip should auto refresh when reloading while active
    • Adjust/reduce console weapon recoil to match PC
    • Bring back the Prismatic Matrix

Sound off in the sticky comment for which one sounds good (just give us a moment to put it up), or anything else in the Bungie Plz wiki that catches your eye, and we'll do our best to accommodate!

Baboon error code solved! (Comcast/Xfinity users)

    Posted: 04 Jul 2021 12:28 AM PDT

Hey, guys - just wanted to pay it forward in case you're like me and have been getting babooned constantly since the start of season of the splicer. If you're a Comcast/Xfinity user, it might be the way the black router (Xfi advanced gateway) interacts with Destiny (only game that had issues). There's a white 3rd generation router you can upgrade to. Here's the information some guardian found and posted to the bungie.net help forums (all credit goes to him). I swapped routers today and have had no issues across four hours of play (NFs, trials, etc). Even finished my first GM nightfall, which would have been impossible before.

Here's hoping Bungie can fix it for everyone, but if not, here's something you can try to get your hobby back! Original post below.

The Umbral Armor-Focus Weekly Lock-Out is Dumb, let's fix it.

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 09:59 PM PDT

    In Case you Didn't Know

Umbral Engrams have the armor focus section in the Umbral Decoder on the helm, in which you can focus your armor to be high-stat in a select stat, that be intellect, strength, mobility, etc. This all comes at a hefty price of 110 decrypted data, which is quite the hefty amount. Now, an issue arises when Bungie decided to add a limit per week on how many times you can do this, which is understandable. They don't want you to get like 50 billion high-stat loot by the click of a button... HOWEVER. They made this limit ACCOUNT-WIDE and not character wide. So if you use your three armor focuses on your titan, welp! Better wait next week to get you shot at your hunter's armor. It's too restrictive and it shouldn't be restrictive as such. Do I understand why there is a restriction, absolutely, I'm fine with it. The issue comes in when I can only use three on my whole account, meaning once per week I can only use one umbral per character, taking away the point of armor focusing in general.

    Solution/Suggestion

I believe it should be restricted per character instead, since it make it to where your characters get three each. I simple quality of life fix. Maybe even increase the limit to five (though, that might be overkill)? I just want to focus my umbrals and not have to wait a week just so I can give my other characters their time to shine with some fancy, and handy, armor.
