I spent the last couple weeks making The Lament by hand to scale in real life, I finished it today Posted: 02 Feb 2021 09:20 PM PST The Lament This was very hard to do, being limited with reference of in game screenshots, inspecting the weapon and the one photo bungie released it was pretty confusing to see how the thing was put together. Making the blueprint perfect was key to making this look right. Also making everything twice for both sides was very tricky. Painting to match as well. All made out of EVA Foam, some wood and PVC pipe glued together with contact cement and super glue. From what I've heard (pls correct if im wrong) Ikoras voice actress is too busy and/or expensive to book. Thank you, CuckerTarlson. Posted: 02 Feb 2021 07:44 PM PST Tonight, I decided I really wanted to get the Harbinger mission done. Cause of social anxiety, though, I have been putting it off. I can't do the mission at 1263 light, so I'd have to be with people. This was really intimidating. Enter, CuckerTarlson. I spent the first 10 minutes of the mission repeatedly dying to the jump puzzle, and you came back to shot at the platforms I should be aiming for. You came to revive me whenever I died stupidly, and you danced as you did. When we were running to the boss, you would turn around after each jump, looking behind you to see if I made it too. On the times I didn't, you came back to revive me. Man, you really made my whole day. Looking back, The Red War campaign was Actually pretty awesome. Posted: 02 Feb 2021 03:26 AM PST Lots of very well done cut-scenes, especially the one with the infamous roast from the Speaker. Gary himself was a pretty decent villain (though not perfect), and launching the story with us losing everything was quite a change from what we were used to. The campaign took us to a number of very unique and interesting places such as the Blackened Forest with the shard of the Traveler, The Almighty, and even the Last City Itself. Short brainstorm (everyone was sober I swear), there you go: -) Dawnblade fencing (1v1 Crucible mode?); -) Hammer throws for Sunbreakers; -) Shadowshot archery for Nightstalkers / Golden Gun target shooting for Gunslingers (self-explanarory); -) Nova throws (shot put anyone?); -) Precision YEETing for middle Strikers; -) Servitor soccer; -) Shanks racing (can involve Guardians or not, depending on how drunk you are). But at this point, I guess I would be pretty happy with at least 4v4v4 as it would raise the competition spirit and you'd be able to feel the thrill of victory (see what I did here?) at literally any game. submitted by /u/Niachrise [link] [comments]

Nectar Dynamo and Rustberry shaders were never offered in Eververse this season Posted: 02 Feb 2021 09:44 AM PST I think I remember a tweet being posted saying that there was only a random chance for them to be offered for bright bust, and that they were supposed to be silver exclusive, however I never saw them offered anywhere in Eververse the entire season. Taken from: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/50004 The H.E.L.M The Hub for Emergency Logistics and Maneuvers, or H.E.L.M., is the new base for all current Vanguard operations within the system. From the H.E.L.M. players can interact with the War Table Seasonal vendor, access the Prismatic Recaster, decode Umbral Engrams at the Umbral Decoder, manage their vault, and retrieve items from the Postmaster. Hammer of Proving To prove their strength in the eyes of the Cabal empress players will need to challenge Caiatl's warriors in the new Battlegrounds activities across the system. Use the Hammer of Proving to forge and socket Challenger Medallions out of pillaged Cabal Gold for the right to take on Caiatl's fiercest commanders in ritual combat. Visit the War Table at the H.E.L.M. to upgrade your Hammer of Proving through three tiers of pursuits that will unlock Hammer upgrades, new Proving Runes, gear drops, and more. Basically, the hammer is just a new version of the Menagerie Chalice/Lure mechanic. It's kind of a cool connection because since Caiatl helped overthrow Calus, that is like the Persians attempt to overthrow the Roman empire. This is what I am hoping for, at least.
